Have to give a huge shout to Dr Nancy Schiffman of Davis Visonworks in the mall and to Dr Keyhani of Keyhani Eye Associates I went on Saturday 7/1) for a routine eye exam to update my glasses. During the exam she noticed the pressure in my eyes were a little high and she was concerned about the onset of glaucoma. In the middle of the eye exam, she is calling/texting Ophthalmologists colleagues from her cell phone to try to get me an appointment during the holiday weekend. After a few no answers, she reached Dr Keyhani (Jefferson Valley) on his cell phone and he guaranteed an appointment to see me today. She not only contacted Dr Keyhani, but called a couple of local pharmacies to locate the eye drops that DR K prescribed. Taconic Pharmacy for the win! Long story short, I was seen by 830 this morning. No glaucoma, but I have "narrow alleys", which Dr Keyhani described as a simple fix. I was completely blown away by the over and above service and care received from Dr's Schiffman and Keyhani, as well as all of the staff in both facilities. It was so refreshing and comforting to receive what I consider to be "old school" medicine and care! I did not expect this from a "mall eyeglass store" my bad! read more

I like that this location is quiet, so you don't have to wait forever like some of the more popular places. They have a small selection of frames and I was able to find one that I liked, though I admit I wish I'd had more options. The staff is very sweet and as helpful as possible. Definitely a low-key spot, which is fine too. The optometrist is very knowledgeable and very helpful too. Prices are about average. I spent close to $500 with insurance, but I got progressives, transitions, lightweight, etc, so they tend to be costly everywhere. I never got a call telling me my glasses were ready, so that was a little disappointing. When I called two weeks later to check they told me they "thought" someone called and left me a message. That sort of "stock" answer always disappoints me because it sounds like an excuse for someone's oversight. The other thing that disappointed me was that when I picked up my glasses, I didn't even get a wipe to clean them, just the empty case. As I walked out the door I noticed a spot on the glasses so I went to the bathroom to wash them off and noticed that both glasses have some kind of marking/spot in the middle that no one bothered to clean off before delivering them to me. Looked like some kind of marking made when the glasses were being put together. I think that a little attention to details could make a big difference in getting/keeping customers. I'm always drawn to that in other places! read more

It should be negative 5 stars. It's been over a month and still haven't received my sons glasses. Finally was told they would be in today but when I called nope! Email was sent that they had to send it to another lab due to his script. WTH !!! Been over a month and now it has to go yet to another place cause they don't know what to do. I have never been at a Visonworks location however I have been in customer service for over 25 years. The staff was great to deal with and I felt valued during the whole process. Then I met with Dr. Nancy Schiffman who made me feel warm and welcomed and informed. I give Visionworks an A Plus rating , they are the best !!!! read more

The girls there don't know what they are doing and to top that off they are disrespectful.. 3 girls there and they are too busy talking amongst themselves that they don't care who walks in.. I had a appointment and was told to fill out some forms.. One girl yelled at me to put my mask up above my nose which I had to air out because my glasses kept fogging up.. I'm Blind as it is therefore I'm there to get glasses.. Anyway, she could of helped me knowing that I couldn't see... HELLO, that's why people are there getting glasses.. she could've asked me politely instead of embarrassing me in front of the entire store!! I walked out and will NEVER revisit that place again! I wouldn't recommend it to my worse enemy! read more

Customer service is terrible. They have an automated system for trying to change appointments that does not work the voice recognition is horrible. Had to give up never got to change my appointment avoid this place at all costs. read more

One of the workers kept staring at me and my mom funny, while she was waiting to be helped. If you don't want to help a customer out with easy questions, choose a new job. The eye doctor herself was rude to me, giving me dirty looks and even told me to shut my phone off when I wasn't in the room. If you're not a direct customer, expect to be treated rudely and feel uncomfortable. And don't bring your children too. They seem to have zero patience with kids. I just wanted to accompany my mother and my sister getting their eye checked out. Won't be coming back for sure. Highly disappointed! read more

They canceled an appointment that I had made weeks before.. the day before the appointment saying they had double booked. So I scheduled another appointment more than a month in advance because that's the nearest thing they had and today I go in and was told the optometrist was running late and it would be an hour and 15 minutes before they could see me. Totally mismanaged office. I will never deal with these people again. read more

Went to JV Mall location in order to take advantage of the $89 for progressive glasses offer. I spent time looking through a wall of eyeglass frames. I was unable to purchase the pair that evening (11/6/2017) so I asked the girls to put them aside for me in case I have to return the next day. When I returned the next day (11/7/2017) I was told the glasses were probably returned to the wall. Even though I asked her to call the other girl that was her the day before and she showed no interest in attempting to locate the frames. A waste of my time and a lack of interest from the staff. read more

Seems like they just can't get it together at vision works. Waiting a half hour and the very nice receptionist stated the system was down and should be up shortly. Now that the system is up it will be only a couple minutes. Still sitting 20 minutes later with no updates. I had a 11:20 appointment now is 12:33 and i am writing this review while waiting. 2 more minutes and I'm walking out. Can't give a lower then a 1 star. read more

This is for the Lee Blvd location. Drove my wife here for glasses and to get dialated. Only saw two other people In the store. We still had to wait over an hour, even though we had an appointment. They asked us to walk around the mall for awhile. She had to have the "eye doctor" redo the exam, because they gave her the wrong prescription. When she finally got her glasses, they gave her a headache almost immediately. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Now I know why nobody was in there on a weekend. Stay away!!! read more

Watch out for these people. The salesperson/receptionist told us last week that she had our insurance info on file and we should come back today for the eye exam and frames that are COVERED BY OUR INSURANCE. Today we got there and she, all of a sudden, couldn't find our insurance info. But she did find a way for us to get a "discount". When I asked what happened between last week and today, her only response was "you guys aren't the only people I've see here this week". Then she followed up with "I can't give you something I'm not authorized to give you". As if we were asking her for a favor when we were simply inquiring as to what changed.
