The only problem--their office is only reachable by steep stairs in a building without an elevator. I am getting older and foresee the day I will not be able to manage this. Also, they are not open Wednesdays or Sundays, but this has not been a problem for me. For those who can handle the stairs and the hours, I highly recommend them.

When I received the glasses and I couldn't see out of them, I found out from a subsequent visit to my orthoptist and another optician that both pair of glasses we made incorrectly and that the prescription in one pair was way off. When I contacted Eyes on Hudson about the issues, my concerns were met with exasperation and an overall unwillingness to work with me. I have since gone to another optician who specializes in difficult prescriptions. Perhaps Eyes on Hudson is very good for general glasses. I had a 6:00 PM appointment and arrived on time, only to be told there were multiple people ahead of me and that the wait would be about an hour. That completely defeats the purpose of scheduling an appointment. If appointments aren't going to be honored, what's the point of offering them? At the very least, a courtesy call or message to let me know my appointment was running an hour behind would have saved me the trip I wasted my time of driving there and they lost a long time customer.
