Had a good experience recently here. The doctor was friendly and helpful. The employee in the front was helpful.

There were only 2 people in the store looking for glasses. (Myself and another) 5 people working in the store. 4 of them were huddled in a corner and talking. I had to get help from the one person who was already speaking to the other customer. I asked to see a couple of frames in the different color WP offers. This store didn't have them. I wanted to check out a pair of frames that had sunglasses lenses in them. I asked the employee if they could pop out the lenses. (Something WP has done for me before) They wouldn't do it. I had done my research before going and knew which frames I wanted to see. There were quite a few they didn't have on display and, when I asked, the employee wouldn't look for them. They just said "we don't have them." I like WP, but will not go back to this location. read more

Wow a bunch of bad reviews but for me honestly I had a good quick experience at the Westchester Mall in white plains .went on a Sunday early afternoon which was crowded with customers but I was able to grab attention of friendly employee, pointed out 2 frames I wanted to purchase , no lenses or no add ons and went back in a week to pick up my frames which will be fitted with new lenses elsewhere. Prices are fair and they have a good selection of frames .You can get a eye exam and full pair of glasses if needed or just get the frames only like I did and hit the road till they come in for pick up . 3.5 stars is good enough on my yelp meter . read more

I gave this review 2 stars instead of one because one of the associates was actually helpful. I had to wait because she was helping other customers. The wait was only a problem because there were two other people working but they were too busy chatting with each other. The associate who helped a few of us was professional, knowledgeable and overworked! If you can check the store video, look at 7/24/2025, approximately 12pm. I was very disappointed. read more

I had a terrible experience at the White Plains store. They mixed up my order with someone else's. I phoned them 3 weeks later to find out where my glasses were. They said they canceled the order because they couldn't match my name with my e-mail address. Both my name and e-mail address have been in their files for years. I always had good experiences at their Manhattan stores and will go back to them in the future. read more

I'm a big fan of Warby Parker - I have been wearing their glasses for years and really think they deliver on all levels: quality, selection, price, customer service, and a corporately responsible business model. While they have showrooms throughout the US, their online ordering system is excellent; here, you're able to choose up to 5 frames for home try-on before making a purchase or conduct a virtual try-on with some of their frames. That's not to discount their showrooms, though - they're beautiful and I enjoy visiting them both for eye exams and just to have a more hands-on experience when choosing frames. Previously, all of Warby's showrooms in NY were in NYC or LI, but last year they opened their first location in Westchester. Since I was due for my annual eye exam, and this location is more convenient for me to get to than the city locations, I decided to visit here for my checkup. The White Plains Warby is located in The Westchester Mall - it's a relatively small showroom they still have a good selection of frames to browse. This location has been a long time coming - they opened in May 2021 and one of the staff members told me they were fully booked for eye exams though November. The layout is clean and bright, with a contemporary aesthetic which is very on-brand for Warby. I had an appointment for 11:45 am, and after a few minutes I was seen. Honestly, this was one of the best eye exams I have ever had. My prescription changed last year and my eyes were having issues adjusting to it, and when I explained my concerns to the optometrist she did an excellent job explaining the science and the whys behind my discomfort and worked with me to adjust my Rx again. I really appreciated her taking the time to explain this - she went above and beyond. After my exam, I was taken care of by Nancy who helped me replace the lenses on two of my pairs with the old Rx. She was great - super friendly and followed through on all aspects of the transaction. Overall, I had an excellent first experience at this Warby Parker. This further confirmed my love of the brand, and since they are so close I will definitely be back for my next pair and eye appointment. read more

I found the staff at the WP location unhelpful and unfriendly; they looked like they wanted to be somewhere else. I had to approach them for help. The optometrist had to stand on the tips of his toes to measure me for my glasses. I asked if I could be re-measured while I was sitting; the staff got me a stool to sit on in the middle of the store. The optometrist rushed through the second measurement just like he did the first. When the measurements were different he said something to the effect of a millimeter here, a millimeter there doesn't matter. I was shocked and disheartened at his response. The device he used to measure me looked like a toy compared to what I've experienced at Lens Crafters and other optical stores. I never experienced worse customer service at an optical store and supposedly from a licensed optometrist - I wonder if he should be? I found the optometrist rude and unprofessional. The service was just as bad when I picked up my glasses - the person essentially was going to hand them to me and say see you later. I had to ask if I could sit down and try them on, look in a mirror and ask for a minor adjustment. Why don't you use a properly designed and constructed store and proper equipment to fit people for glasses? My friend recommended the White Plains location - I'll have to ask him why? read more

worst retail experience EVER. I made an appointment though what I thought was warby parker in the Westchester, apparently what I spoke with was central customer service, who failed to book the appointment correctly. when I showed up at what I thought was the proper time, each of the three staff members I spoke with was staggeringly unhelpful,, as through their booking error was somehow my fault, The staff and on duty optician absolutely refused to try to fit me in, "rules is rules,". . customer service appalling, even for minimum wage retail, and staff members noticeably not clean, store was grimy. this is a mass market discount businless model, and it shows. Went to the @Warbyparker store to exchange a pair of glasses after mine were stolen the glasses I was sent were wrong glasses by mail . I called customer service and was told the store in Westchester would 'take care of everything'. NOT Drive 30 minutes, waited in a crowded , noisy tiny location the for almost 45 minutes only to be told that they couldn't do anything !!! they insisted that my glasses were correct despite the fact that I could not see with them and the other ones were stolen. I told them the ones that were stolen cost $102. The incorrect lenses in the replacement should be the same - but they wanted to charge me $200 more for THIER MISTAKE! . The stupid , non professional so-manager kept saying 'I understan' over and over like a broken record but could not do anything! She should be fired or go back to management training! The staff looked like a bunch of tattooed hipster millennials that just rolled out of bed . One guy was wearing swim trunks DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS LAME @WarbyParker STORE! YOU WILL REGRET IT!! As advertised - affordable glasses that include most prescription lenses, a little extra for blue light, progressive lenses obviously cost more. But, there are no gimmicks, no hidden fees, so surprise things that amp up the price. read more

Similar experience as another reviewer, down to the customer service rep saying "I understand" like a broken record when he clearly did not! I was 7 minutes late to an appointment. My fault. The escalators in the mall were broken... but I showed up, with my baby in tow. Man who works the floor (short, ear gauges) was clearly training a new employee so it took a couple minutes for the trainee to pull my name up on the iPad. He then proceeds to tell me I'm late and he will have to check if the doctor will see me. Another 5 minutes pass and he said the doctor can't see me because I was 12 minutes late (mind you, we are now at the 12 minute mark because of all the discussion). This appointment was a follow up (not a full appointment) because of an adjustment I needed to my previous pair of glasses. He says it doesn't matter and I have to come back with a new appointment. Its 10:30am on a weekday and the store is DEAD, so I call WB headquarters to see what my options are. They admit the next appointment at this location isn't for a full 30 minutes, so the doctor and rep are literally just sitting around doing nothing, refusing to see me because I was there 2 minutes past their 5 min grace period for appointments . The rep on the phone was super helpful at least and got me scheduled with another location the same morning (where it took LITERALLY 10 minutes to accomplish what I needed to accomplish with the doctor). Will never be back to this location. The lack of customer service (not to mention total lack of common sense) is so off brand for Warby Parker. read more
