I've had glasses where the coating remained in good shape for 5+ years, but now these are unwearable after 2. Went to a new optician and then found out the frames were way too small, with the temples bowed way out as they reached my ears. At $800, the price paid was exorbitant in relation to the fitting and longevity/quality of the service. Never returning here.

I visited to get my eye exam, prescription, and new glasses…read more The process of the exam and picking the frames was great but when I had to come back to pick them up things were not so great. I got a call to pick up my frames and I asked if I could have my prescription when I picked them up and was told yes. I arrive and get my frames and only one of the two is ready. And they also have no print out and am told I'll get it when I pick up the other frames. I get a call to pick up the other frames and confirm the print out will be ready. The print out was not ready and I had to wait for it. I asked for my PD and was told no. I asked why not and the employee told me it changes depending on the glasses. This made no sense to me because it is the distance between my pupils and that doesn't change. I also mentioned how when I got my two pairs of glasses from that very store they only measured my PD on one frame because it's the same. I asked how that was. She said they had a machine and it knows what to do. I asked how it worked and she said that's why we have machines. She begrudgingly wrote down my PD and said she added a note to the file that she is not liable if I use it and it's wrong. I feel as if she kept just saying stuff to placate me and get me to move on and I don't appreciate that. What she was saying did not make sense to me. I paid for an eye exam and prescription and my PD should be included. Additionally, the two times I went in to pick up frames she seem flustered and kept going on about how busy she was. And I wish they would leave a message when I missed the phone call. I like the frames I bought but probably won't be coming back, to this location at least

Scott is not only incredibly knowledgeable and professional, but also genuinely amicable, patient, and easy to talk to. He took the time to help me find the right glasses, answered all of my questions, and made the whole process feel personal and stress-free. I was so pleased with the experience that I went back to have lenses put into my own frame, and he was just as helpful and accommodating the second time around. The waits are beyond excessive and, frankly, ridiculous. No matter the appointment time, you should expect to sit for a long stretch before being seen. What's especially frustrating is that they are very efficient when it comes to collecting your copay immediately upon arrival, yet there is no comparable urgency when it comes to respecting the patient's time afterward. After checking in and paying, you're left waiting--sometimes moving from room to room--without any clear communication or explanation. I'm not commenting on the doctors' medical competence, as I expect physicians to be knowledgeable and capable in their field, and in that regard there were no major issues. Personality-wise, the providers were fine and professional enough. That said, patient experience is more than just clinical skill. Time management and respect for scheduled appointments matter, and this office consistently falls short in that area.
