They are unreliable, understaffed, lack communication, and are grossly overpriced.... save yourself some money and frustration! I chose Golden Eagle based on the very knowledgeable expertise of the estimator (Christian), who also stayed involved with the job through completion to ensure the work was done correctly and consistently with the bid. I also appreciated how they calibrated the bid to include only what I was interested in having done, which went a long way in my choosing them over their competitors. The installers showed up on time each day until completion and did a good job cleaning up after themselves and protecting my floor from entryway to the utility room. Attention to detail was outstanding and included them addressing some minor concerns I brought up during the installation process. They were very professional and did a quality job at a fair price. The guys clearly took a lot of pride in their work and doing things right, even when that meant a little extra time and effort. (I would also note that their Office Admin Christina was very accommodating and a joy to work with as well).

I don't know what this is, maybe to check for a water leak on the other side of the wall where the shower is). Either way, how are those two items $1200?...and didn't they do the "assessing" on the day that they charged the additional $160 for an estimate? $450 is for material, the rest is labor (2 guys for 3 hours). I asked about the materials charge and understand mark-up that is reasonable, he said that it was for the shower valve, pipe, caulking and beading (seriously? That's less than $100 at a home improvement store, even 100% mark up would only be $200). They would not provide details about how they got to the exact figure of $450. And, couldn't explain why no tax was added to the bill. I don't think this is a very honest company and do not advise others to use them.

They've handled a major clean-out when I had a serious backup, fixed multiple leaks (shower & sink), and taken care of several other issues. Every experience has been excellent.
