I used this business, who actually operates as Fred's Plumbing & Heating, Service, or FPH Service…read moreInc., to unclog a drain. This drain clogs about 2x/year, and I've had it snaked 1-2x per year for the last several years, from various plumbers in the area. After hours in Vail, that's usually between $500-$800. I decided to use this business for a change, as their rates were lower for an after-hours weekend call ($600-$800). However, the plumber didn't have the right drain snake with them, so they came back the next day with the proper tooling. They charged me over $1,700 for two days of work! The manager is also refusing to reduce the amount below $1,100. This is a dishonest business. I would not recommend calling this number or working with them.

I called four local firms that advertise 24 hour emergency service - from voice mail to after hours answering service. 3 out of 4 did not reply - unfortunately typical up here. In contrast - Meadow Mountain. Phone answered by a service right away. Call back by technician prompt. On site last night. These boys ain't cheap. He explained everything to me and used a lot of equipment to test my ac handler in my condo. I called 5 companies and had them come out. Ultimately, Rich was the first person, and he was with RH, to actually get into the ac system. Some contractors told me I would have to cut into my wall. Rich went in and accessed the system with no problems. Matthew thoroughly examined and resolved the issues. I like that he explained everything to me and backed it up with equipment readings that he showed me. They did not try to sell me refrigerant. He showed me why my ac refrigerant levels were fine. He was honest and knew what he was doing. It was a relief to find the right people. Also they charged a fair price. The office staff is also very nice and has good customer service skills.
