He came over that afternoon and helped make a temporary 'catchment' to catch and direct the leakage to a floor drain. That was Friday On Saturday, he called to tell us that he had found a replacement cistern, 'though it was larger than the existing one. We agreed to use it. Monday, Fred and his crew arrived to remove the existing cistern and replace with the new one. the estimate was that that would be done by Monday evening and they would return Tuesday to do the plumbing interface, Getting the old tank out and the new in was an exercise in adaptive geometry! They succeeded, and by Monday evening had completely restored the system to use! I can recommend WW+ without reservation if you need Well/cistern/delivery system help. I actually am a 'rocket scientist' and could not have done the job at all, let alone so well!

Tom came out to talk water and boy, does Tom know water! As we started to talk about the house, where our water comes from and what we were primarily interested in Tom was doing tests of our water. He was very efficient in the testing and explaining the results. Our new home in Castle Pines was built with an instant hot water unit, which was all new for us. And from some other companies we talked to at the garden and home show told us that you definitely need to put a soft water unit in for the tankless (primarily for the warranty). As it turns out, Tom gave us a measurement of 3 for hardness which is very good and he told us we do NOT need to install a soft water unit. BONUS! We also talked about other minerals and pH in our water. And it was nice to hear we have really good water here. He did leave a flyer and a quote for a RO (reverse osmosis) drinking water system if we ever decide we would like to go that route other than just getting drinking water from the refrigerator. I would highly recommend anyone who is curious about their water quality to contact them and talk through what you might need or what you want.

I asked him a few follow-up questions, which he responded to immediately. We ultimately decided on a three tank system -- the first to filter out sediment, the second to remove carbon (i.e. lead, gasses), and the third to remove pathogens. He pre-fabricated everything at his shop, so the installation time was very quick and efficient. You get a text from him letting you know that he is on the way. After he completed the installation, he walked me through everything and actually had me install the filters myself so that I knew how it all worked.
