I was charged $10 more than what was stated on the website price list. I was too relaxed and not alert to verify and destroy the sense of tranquility during payment. There was no cash register and it was a handwritten receipt. I didn't realize the spa is inside a residential home when I made the booking. There is no proper parking area and you will have to park by the side of the busy highway between Davis Bay and Sechelt. Linda does attach pictures of where to park in the email. There is also no sign of where the spa is except for the small sign hanging outside the garage door with the house number. At first I thought it is inside the garage but after walking around it, it didn't seem possible. I finally figured out I had to walk down the steps and through a walkway into a garden. I was still filled with trepidation that I could be trespassing and entering a wrong place. At the house, there was another small sign pointing to where the spa was. It was by the side of the house with a separate entry. The treatment room was lovely. It contained two beds so you could have a couple session. The room looked out into the ocean which was beautiful. Unfortunately since you would be lying face down most of the time, you don't really get to enjoy it. The massage was excellent! Linda was really good and I felt the knots disappeared from my body and I was really relaxed at the end of the treatment. Now that I know where to park and how to get into the spa, i will definitely book another session with Linda when I'm in the area again.

When we arrived in the evening for our workshop, Susan quickly welcomed us in. Her immediate friendliness put us both at ease, and she was very receptive and positive as we discussed both of our needs and what we were looking to get out of the workshop. The workshop was over two hours, so we never felt rushed. Both my partner and I asked lots of questions, and Susan's answers were always informative and insightful. In general, Susan would first show us how to massage a body part, and then, she gave us an opportunity to practice the technique with her guidance, which I found to be very effective for our learning. Due to the length of the workshop, I also greatly appreciated that Susan provided water and snacks. I also want to note that I found the facilities to be very clean, and Susan was accommodating about changing the temperature of the room to improve our comfort. After the workshop, both my partner and I felt more connected. The workshop gave us space away from our busy lives to slowdown and show our appreciation for each other, giving us a chance to convey our love in a way that can often be lost in everyday life. Overall, I would say that this workshop at White Silk Wellness was a highlight of my trip, and we would love to come back to take the workshop again or try out some of Susan's other services.
