During my first visit, I had the entirety of my experience explained before I went into the tank. Now that I've floated a few times, the staff is quick to just let me in and float however I want, but for those that are a little unsure what to expect, it really helps to ask for suggestions. Whoever is at the front desk is always willing to help out with music suggestions or tips on relaxing in the tank, and there's never any pressure to stay after the float or to leave right away - I've run out when I have somewhere to be, but if you want to have a cup of tea and sit afterwards, there is a great lounge to do so. This location is also great about renewing expired floats! I have a terrible memory when it comes to using 3-pack seasonal sale floats and etc. and they've always been really nice about letting me extend them past the original expiry date.

I cancelled my monthly membership about 2.5 years ago and was told the remaining 8 floats on my account has "NO" expiry date. I can in fact share my floats to friends and family who wishes to experience the spa. When I reached out to the spa this time to utilize my floats I was advised that the spa has changes ownerships twice and they proceeded to tell me the "intent of the previous owner" and blatantly advised that my floats are expired even though they still have access to old clients account information. Sure, new ownership, new rules and policies. I'm disappointed at how current management chose to handle their business. It is very poor business practice as they have not made any attempts to properly communicate to their clients of ownership and/or spa policy changes. I'm a huge advocate and believer in the use of sensory deprivation tanks but based on this experience alone I cannot recommend this spa. There are plenty of float spas with better tanks and facility, not to mention better customer service.

When approached the staff was unapologetic and dismissive, suggesting that I was somehow to blame "as far as I know this has only happened one other time" ....Right, sure, tell me another one.....

I'm so glad I did! Signing up with this gym turned "taking my kid to camp" into a wellness retreat for me. Altitude is a gorgeous gym -- modern interior design, great equipment, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and very polite fellow customers. I signed up for an 8-session personal training pack with Frankie, which included access to the gym for the duration of my stay. Each session is an hour, but I came 30-45 minutes early for Frankie's written pre-workout and stayed an hour after for some cardio. Over my 52 years, I've trained with a bunch of people, but no one as smart and as dedicated to problem solving as Frankie. I cycle, so some muscles just don't get worked as much as they should. Frankie's knowledge of anatomy, kinesiology and muscle release was astounding. *That* muscle not firing? She's got an insane bag of tricks to make it work. She has kneaded, pulled, rolled and twisted my body back into shape and I feel 10 years younger. Frankie found and strengthened muscles I thought had atrophied into oblivion. She's easily worth twice the (very reasonable) session fee.
