As of today, I still have not had direct contact with the owner who sold me my puppy, and I have still not received a response from Puppy Support regarding my claim. The Florida location also no longer answers my calls. I did open a dispute, and shortly after that I was contacted. Because they are now in contact with me, I decided to cancel the dispute and give them an opportunity to address the situation directly. I do want to be fair and acknowledge that the owner's sister has been communicating with me. She had nothing to do with the original transaction, but so far she has been professional, kind, and helpful in communicating with me, and I appreciate that. At this point, I'm still waiting for a response from Puppy Support and for the situation to be resolved. I'll continue to update this review as things progress.

As soon as I walked inside the well maintained store, I could hear a loud excessive chirping. As I followed the irrirating sound, it brought me to a bird in a cage next to the parakeets, rabbit and guinea pig. The bird was called Sun Conure and was wonderfully colorful but no way would this hand-fed loud annoying creature live in my house, especially for $1,500.00. Toni alerts when my sugar is low, my heart spells, and picks up things I drop. Toni also won't let me move when he feels I will pass out from either the low sugar or heart spells. Toni also will get things for me that he can reach (shoes, remote, etc). Toni is always ready to work and learn new things. He just wants to please me and get lots of love and attention. I asked if Ashley was there since she has cut his nails before. She said she was there that I could bring him and be there before 5 as they would not do after 5pm. I arrived close to 430 .. the girl in register I think her name was Ary or Aly . She asked me and I told her Cosmo was just doing Nails .. she charged me $15 plus tax . Then Ashley and another lady came and took Cosmo in his travel cage ... they were in there awhile then came out and gave him to me, Ashley told me his nails bleed as they were long she said and said veins get longer as nails get long too .. she said they put clotting powder .. never mentioned wings .. so me and my daughter left with Cosmo .. when I got home took him outa cage and he flew well he didn't he fell and hit himself against wall! I tht it was pain form mate being squeezed to do nails or idk ... but then we finally noticed his wings were cut .. they were long and beautiful and much needed ! I cannot believe they would do this when i clearly said nails .. I called Beverly's and asked to speak with Ashley and they put her on phone . I told her that when I got home Cosmo flew and fell down almost immediately and hit himself on wall .. I told her why did they cut his wings when we only asked for nail trim ? She said that's what she was told . Idk what kind of place is so irresponsible with something so delicate and important ! It's my birds life .. it's like taking away my legs .. he can't fly and now is getting injured has fallen 3 times ..I just beg you to please make a form where the Customer fills out as to what it is they are requesting .. nails or wings or both ! I decided to look around anyway and fell in love with a little teddy bear puppy. Unfortunately, the experience went downhill from there. The employee helping me kept getting pulled in different directions, and other representatives insisted I had been there before telling her "oh she's been here before she's not buying" . This was my first visit ever, and I had only moved to the area two months ago. Other customers were helped ahead of me, and I felt like my time and business did not matter. Getting a straightforward price was frustrating. I had to sit through about 10 slides before being told the puppy was $5,900. While waiting, I called other pet shops ane browsed online and was quoted prices between $800 and $3,000 for similar puppies. When I explained that my budget was $3,000, the price suddenly dropped to $3,700. That alone made me uncomfortable with how the pricing worked. I still really wanted the puppy, so I applied for financing. I specifically stated that I did not want a hard credit pull, yet I ended up with hard inquiries and was denied. The employee kept calling the manager, who continued sending over applications. By then, I had been there for over an hour and felt increasingly uncomfortable with the process. The employee helping me was sweet and was the only reason I stayed as long as I did. She even understood why I ultimately left. Unfortunately, her kindness could not make up for the lack of transparency, inconsistent pricing, and feeling overlooked throughout my visit. For a business asking thousands of dollars for a puppy, I expected much better communication and customer service. Asking $5,900 and then suddenly dropping the price to $3,700 when I said my budget was $3,000 made the original pricing feel dishonest. That is a $1,800 difference simply because I questioned the price. It left me with no confidence in their pricing or transparency, and that is not a company I would support.

My avian vet, who is an hr away, suggested that I go to the Birdhouse to see if Charlie could help me give my bird his injections. Charlie helped me and refused to charge me. Charlie's knowledge and love of birds was very impressive. Yes, there is parrot dust in his store. He does have a large selection of birds, and it is hard to control parrot dust with such a large selection of birds in a small store. It just takes a few large birds flapping their wings, and you have dust. If you are looking to purchase a parrot The Birdhouse is a good place to go.

I am beyond outraged by the inhumane and negligent treatment of these animals at Forever Love Puppies in Pembroke Park. We purchased two puppies: a 3-month-old Chihuahua and a 2-month-old Pomeranian. They came home sick. No family should ever experience the fear and financial burden of bringing home a puppy only to find out it is already ill. The so-called "complimentary" veterinary visit that this store "gifts" buyers to use is completely misleading. Our puppies were never examined by a veterinarian, yet we were assured by a staff assistant that they were "perfect" without any tests or physical examination. Side note on this fraud of a clinic: When I walked out of the examination room, there was a dead dog on the bench next to a lady in the waiting room. Such a level of unprofessionalism or disrespect is unbelievable. The attendant called someone to "come get the body". Didn't offer a room for the lady to grieve and choose the urn made her pay and choose in front of everyone with her dead dog on the bench behind her. Days later, our Chihuahua puppy ended up in the emergency room severely dehydrated with signs of Ataxia, a neurological symptom. The result? Over $1,200 in emergency veterinary bills and weeks of emotional distress, all of which could have been avoided with proper care and honest medical screening. We were told that a simple fecal test would have immediately detected Giardia. That basic test was never performed, even though the paperwork states otherwise. We took our boys to our private veterinarian, and both were diagnosed with Giardia. Even more disturbing is the breeder listed on our paperwork. A quick search reveals serious public concerns tied to this breeder. When we looked up the address ourselves using publicly available satellite imagery, the location appears to be a barn-like structure with no visible evidence of adequate shelter or proper housing facilities. At the time, temperatures were around 32 degrees. The thought of vulnerable puppies being housed and possibly transported in those conditions is horrifying. The fact that this store continues to source from breeders surrounded by red flags demonstrates either a shocking lack of due diligence or a complete disregard for animal welfare and consumer protection. There is also a publicly available news report involving the owner's son, Larry Master, which every potential buyer should watch before considering a purchase. Reports and documentation show that puppies are transported in freezing temperatures, with hundreds crammed into trucks and distributed to pet stores across the country. These are living, breathing animals, not merchandise, not inventory, not commodities. This entire experience was irresponsible, unethical, and deeply disturbing. If you care about animal welfare, please do your research. Seek out truly reputable, transparent breeders or consider adoption.
