After a routine service visit to my vinyl pool, the pool began losing water rapidly and dropped to less than halfway full within days. A Vinyl Pool Repair company later identified a large puncture in the liner and advised the damage appeared consistent with blunt force. It is in the very bottom corner of the pool on the 8ft side, somewhere a 5 year old child couldn't reach. I checked camera footage to see their technician using his tool in an up and down motion as if he's spearfishing in my pool. Days later - the water dropped less than halfway. Other red flags - they removed my existing vacuum and replaced with a different one without my knowledge or permission. This specific vacuum was not recommended for vinyl from the vinyl EXPERTS that I consulted with. Furthermore, they also charged me on a random day for some type of "annual fee" without disclosing that upfront. Lastly, the last service visit we had (on a rainy day - no clue why the guy still showed up), the employee went behind the camera area and stood under my sundeck on his phone. Is that what you're getting paid for? Service visits under 10 minutes while you stand around. There were multiple red flags I ignored and excused but the damage to the pool was the last straw. Despite the timing of the incident, the severity of the water loss, camera footage, and the findings from ABCO, Golden State declined to take responsibility for the damage or assist with replacement costs. As expected: they responded to dodge accountability by saying the vinyl was in brittle condition - this still doesn't change the fact that you punctured my pool. See you in court.

My wife and I contacted Swim Care Pool Service to look at our pool and jacuzzi equipment. We just moved in and wanted to upgrade some things. We spoke with the owner, Jeremy. We set a day and time for Jeremy to give a quote. He called and cancelled so we rescheduled for the next day. He came and ran into our pool guy. Seems they knew each other and have worked together. Jeremy tried to deny giving us a quote for a new pool filter. He was more concerned about working with them than to provide us a quote. You're the one that cancelled the original appointment. He reluctantly said he'll give a quote. We waited 3 days with no quote. When my wife called him he was very rude and said he will get it to her. He even discussed his personal life with my wife thinking that would excuse his behavior. I'll leave out the details, but inappropriate. We finally got our quote and it was obscenely high. Much higher than the phone estimate. An obvious attempt to not work with us. Our jacuzzi is not much bigger than most. I called Jeremy with no answer, so I left a message. He called me after the weekend and it was more of the same. A disengaged, rude business owner that is obviously not interested in his business or customers. The phone call was not positive, so I hung up and texted him instead. The texting was not any better. He texted to me "Obviously you have a personal issue" and in another text said " I think you're possibly a little prejudice." Whoa, really? All for wanting you to give an honest estimate, not wast our time and not to discuss your personal life with my wife? I would gladly pay double to a company that has integrity, respect for clients, respect for their family and some professionalism.
