Anderson F Rowe, MD - Look at this while you're waiting to sign up for a colonoscopy

"Fun Place to Go for a Colonoscopy, but No "Check-in" Discount…read more There doesn't appear to be any secret bonus for Yelp check-in. I was sort of hoping for something like free anesthesia or two colonoscopies for the price of one, but no luck. I have been coming here for many years, with very good experience. Usually I see the physician's assistant, but on occasion Dr. Rowe. I have found him to be very helpful, patient, and professional. I have never felt rushed in any of my appointments. They have a new PA whose name is Julia. Very informative, very friendly and helpful. She made some medication suggestions, and gave excellent information about some long-term side effects and the latest scientific research, of which I was unaware. The excellent suggestions given to me today by the PA were very helpful to me. Occasionally I have to wait a few minutes, but it's usually not very long. Today I think I waited 2 minutes. I barely had time to do a Yelp check-in before I was called. I have also had Dr. Rowe perform the usual routine colonoscopies. I would not exactly call them a load of fun, but they went smoothly. Well, as smoothly as one can expect having a tube shoved up--well you know what I mean. I should also mention that they require you provide them with your credit card information, so they can charge you right away. At first, I found this a little annoying, but I understand they want to shorten the billing process. The office is in that large office complex right near San Ramon Hospital. Parking is generally not too bad.

I had a discovery call with you prior to this consultation and you told me that my case was the type of case that your clinic works with all the time. This is why I decided to pay the $500 because I thought I would get an individualized plan. I have had consultations with other functional medicine practitioners and naturopaths before and this appointment was used to build a plan for me. Not listen to a sales pitch. I found out the cost for these other providers' programs during the 15 minute discovery call. And by the way, you are not telling the truth about offering a $35,000 program. You said "For accuracy, we don't offer a $35,000 program". I have documents to prove that you do, which I've posted here. There are three tiers I was offered: Platinum 12 month program, a Gold 12 month program but not as many "perks" and visits, and then a 6 month program, which I was deterred from because I have a lot of issues and it takes time to resolve (which I agree with). And all of these programs don't include labs or supplements!! I was being steered towards the Platinum program for 35k, BUT if I signed up before 7/30/25 and paid in full, I would only pay $25k! Heck of a deal! "Spots are limited! Fast Action Bonus if you sign up today!" Seriously this is what you hear on an infomercial or used car sales lot. You are clearly just motivated by money and not helping people. I am so frustrated that I spent my VERY hard earned $500 (which I desperately need to work on getting better) and got absolutely nothing but scammed. You both should be ashamed of yourselves taking advantage of people who are desperate to feel better. Your reply was unbelievable. Literally.

I meant to review sooner, but still resting and recovering from my ALIF surgery that I had at SRRMC…read moreon 1/12. What a great experience from start to finish (minus needing surgery, but you know what I mean). Everyone from the pre-op nurse who calmed my anxiety (whose name is escaping me), to Doctors Harris, Ochalek and Singh (and the rest of their surgery team) were amazing. The last thing I remember was having a nice conversation with Dr. Singh about the niners before gently waking up after surgery. They all really made the surgery as comfortable as it could possibly be. My post op experience was second to none. I had a wonderful recovery nurse who told me all about her kids (if anyone can verify her name, I'd appreciate it!) and then was moved up to a private room where Katie took over my care. She was the absolute best nurse I've ever had. She was attentive, kind and went out of her way to get anything I (or my partner) needed. She transferred care to our night nurse (who was great, but I was asleep most of the night), but promised to come check on us the next day when she got back into work. We really felt cared for and comfortable with Katie and thank her for the level of care she provided. If there's a way to recommend nurses, she'd be at the top of the list! Diane was our nurse the next morning, and she was awesome. We got super lucky with her because even though it was crazy busy that morning, she went out of her way to make sure we always had everything we needed. She was kind, attentive and we could tell she was running around trying to take care of 10 people at once (and doing a great job at it). We talked everything from travel to traffic and you definitely made the morning after surgery much more bearable. All in all, about the best experience I could have asked for. For the nurses whose name's I have forgotten, I'm sorry! I was out of it for a while with anesthesia, meds, etc. and there were a lot of you helping. You were all great and very much appreciated. If I ever need to go back into surgery, I'm definitely coming back here. Thanks again. Kevin and Monica

To the Amazing Family Birthing Team at SRRMC,…read more I recently gave birth to my baby boy nine days ago, and I wanted to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude for the incredible care I received during my stay. I was induced and, I was scared and nervous. But from the very beginning, I felt at ease knowing I was in such capable and compassionate hands. My labor lasted 18 hours and had its fair share of ups and downs, but the nursing staff truly carried me through it. Farah, my first nurse during the day shift, and Kim, my night nurse, were both remarkable. They kept me informed, encouraged me when I felt weak, and made me feel genuinely cared for. Later that night, when things began moving quickly, Kim called in Nurse Lisa to assist her even though Lisa wasn't assigned to me. Watching how they worked together with such teamwork and kindness was something I'll never forget. Both of these women went above and beyond their duties, and I will forever be thankful for them. I also have to recognize my OB-GYN, Dr. Shammout, who was truly my biggest cheerleader in the delivery room. His calm confidence, compassion, and support gave me the strength I needed to get through. SRRMC is lucky to have such an exceptional doctor, and I will recommend him to anyone seeking a provider who genuinely cares for his patients. After delivery, I was cared for by more amazing nurses Tori, Ashley, Haley, Cassie, and the supervisor Shannon. Each of them treated me with such kindness and warmth. They made sure I was comfortable, checked on me regularly, and celebrated every little milestone with me. It honestly felt like being surrounded by family. When my baby's blood sugar levels came back low, everyone worked together to make sure he received the best care possible. They reassured me, explained each step with patience, and did everything they could to help stabilize him. What touched me the most was how they all communicated between shifts to stay updated on his progress. That level of dedication and care meant the world to me. Leaving the hospital was bittersweet. I was excited to bring my baby home but sad to say goodbye to the wonderful team that supported me through one of the most important moments of my life. Every nurse, doctor, and staff member I encountered showed true compassion and professionalism. From the bottom of my heart, thank you all for your kindness, care, and support. You made what could have been a stressful and frightening experience into one filled with comfort, love, and strength. I will never forget how you made me feel. Much love Jackie & Baby Elijah
