Took my mom in for pedis and it was great! I didn't realize the salon was inside Walmart and really the only negative I could say about the entire experience would be about having to hear the store noise but they did a great job of having nail stations positioned away from the entrance and by playing peaceful music. We both got shellac pedis with hand painted flowers, $60 each. They were very careful with clipping and the massage was nice. I brought my own nail kit and it was refused which I found a bit strange but they didn't charge extra for it like many other places do.

Long story short I've come here several times and usually spend quite a bit and always always tip well, however the entire time of the process of getting my nails they hurt so bad, literally burning under the UV light to where I pulled my hand away (yes I know that should've been my cue to stop services), I went from powder to acrylic and the lady said that's why it was "hot" and ensured me it was normal? No girl all of my nails are ruined with my thumb being extremely burnt and my nail sunken in, I am beyond unhappy/pissed and will never be going here again. Do not come here, even if you spend hundreds like I have, they will rush the process and clearly want the fast cash instead of quality. It should not hurt to get your nails done. This is not normal, it should not hurt to get your nails done.

I'm going to start my review off my first saying that I HATE doing this and I will typically try my best to not leave a bad review. This situation however is much different than others. When the technician asked how long id like them I told her " a little longer please" and she then replied with "this looks better". So I kindly asked if I could show her a picture of what I want. I pulled my phone out and showed her the photo that I have linked with this review. I chose the color, but I asked for that shape and length. She then said "right here" and proceeded to cut shorter than I asked. The other lady could tell I was upset with my nails, even through a mask because she asked if everything was okay. No, actually I wasn't okay. The skin on my right index finger is super glued to the acrylic nail. She tried to file it, and filed a deeply into my skin. I would post a photo of that, but it's wrapped up in a bandaid currently. I told her that she hurt me and she continued to go back and file at the same spot multiple times. She kept being super rough with my hands, and the files. That's probably how it ended up being slit with a file, being too rough. She kept telling me to relax my hands. I've been getting my nails done every two weeks for years now and no one has ever said that to me. Over and over again. My hands went in and out of the LED light 30+ times while she was painting. Never has the been done before. When I left, my boyfriend could tell I was upset. I left in tears. He called the nail shop back and asked to speak with a manager. She said thats what I asked for , so that's what I got. Told my boyfriend that she had cameras and other technicians that were listening to back her up. She was making it out to seem like I was lying and honestly just being very disrespectful. After arguing with us, she said we could see the manager(?) tomorrow. She offered me a 12:30 appointment to see if there was anything they could do to fix it, but I live three hours from this place and wasn't going to wait around all morning to go back. I felt uncomfortable going back in there and wouldn't have gone back anyways. I'm currently soaking these nails off and will be going back to my main lady. A WASTE OF $50

I came here to get a full set and a pedicure. I got the deluxe pedicure and I thought it was very relaxing and detailed. For the nails I got the powder color and I love it. I will be back here :)

I got an acrylic nail fill, and they look pretty good but I'm not quite sure if they were worth $20. The actual fill and the filing was good and my nail shape was good (I didn't get my original set applied here) but the polish was a little bit chunky and seemed kind of cheap. My nails look nice though, and overall I had a good experience.

Like previous RECENT posts, this place is under new management. I hesitate to rave about them because I won't be able to get in, but I want them to stay in business. I walked in on Monday, 4/2/18 around 10:45 am. Kimberly was finishing up a manicure and told me it would be about 20 minutes. I came back and she began to tell me about organic powder manicure. I politely said No, and said I wanted the basic manicure. As I was soaking my nails, I was watching the previous customer and listening to her tell me about the new manicure option. SNS Nails. Healthly for your nails. The powder is colored so you don't have a colored nail polish. I told Kimberly I wanted to try it. $37 instead of $16 for a basic a manicure. I walked out about 11:40 am with nails that I love. I don't like long nails because I get them too dirty and break them often. I love how strong my nails feel. I hope it helps my thin, chipping nails grow healthy. They do not add on an additional charge for the nail files. I will have to go back and get one. I have stopped getting pedicures in the standard pedicure chairs because of the spread of athlete's foot and other diseases. I am so frustrated with this business. I went in getting my nails done for my graduation photos and had read previous yelp reviews saying that they did great work so I gave them a try. They told me to do the dip powder instead of gel and acrylic and that it would be just as strong so I went for it. I expressed that I play sports and I needed them to be strong enough and she ensured me that they would be. I went home, happy with how they looked but the next day one of the nails broke in half. I know how to fix nails so I fixed it thinking it would just be one of them but not even 24 hours later one started to come off my real nail and then not even an hour after that another one snapped in half. I called them and asked what they could do for me (in terms of a refund as I paid $60) and they said they couldn't do anything unless I came in. I told them I lived 30 minutes away and I didn't have the time and the manager started to yell at me. She told me that breaking them was my fault (one broke opening a water bottle so obviously not) and that she couldn't do anything. She continued to get frustrated with me and after about 5 minutes of just her telling me it was my fault and whatnot I just told her I would leave a yelp review. I would not go back to this place if it were the only place left that did nails. Overpriced for the amount of quality. read more

Worst place ever! Took almost 2 hours and my nails look terrible. Even though I told her they were solar, she filled them with acrylic and at the end said, "oh sorry - I forgot" She also replaced a white tip with a clear tip. Since my nails no longer matched (the tips or the fill) there was no way I could just have clear polish again - she had to paint my nails. Looks like a third grader did them! Never have I had so much polish on my skin... I originally thought I would at least give them a shot since they were close to my house. My suggestion - don't bother!!!!!!! read more

This is the worst place ever! She doesn't take her time on the customers nails because she's worried about her next customers getting angry! Aside that she cut me she did a horrible job on my nails. She makes appointments after appointments when she knows that she won't have time for all the customers. She was very rude. She couldn't even get off her phone to focus on my nails! There was dust all over the table , really messy place. I do not recommend this place for a pedicure or manicure. read more

Worst place ever! I went on tuesday asked the owner Lin if I needed an appointment for Saturday and she say no just come in. I asked what time she opened on Saturday she say 8. Lie lie lie! I showed up at 8 no one around I talked to Walmart employees who confirmed my fear she comes in when she wants and opens around 10. I had my hair appointment at 10 which I had told her on tuesday. She bluntly lied to my face and didn't care about losing a client. Do not go here! She has a bad rep and now I know the rumors are true! read more

Came here on a Sunday for an eyebrow and lip waxing. She asked me to sit up by the front counter, and I was like what? up here by the front desk? she said, "yeah, I don't have the wax burner on in the back." It was awkward and uncomfortable to say the least. I had to lay my head back while sitting in this desk chair. People passing by the store could see me getting waxed. I pay $2.00 less in town where I live too. Also, the lady smelled and was wearing a very dirty white coat. I did not tip and will not be coming back. read more

I came over yesterday for have my nails own desgin done for spring break traveling by Kimberly. I know from my friend they had new maneger ! SUPER clean and very friendly. However I forgot to bring my nails kit , I thought they will charge me $5 as other places, but they didn't. They do disposable nails kit to each customer. That is super great news to me, cause I don't want to be charged every single times when i forget my nails kit. And that is the BEST thing to customer service, keep cleaner and healthier for us !!!!!! They was rushing for the pedicure when I was there, before today, I define not do the pedicure at any salon, I feel uncomfortable to get my feet touch the public sink..........I was worried the customer who is having skin sick, and i touch that. But today, I saw there is pedicure liner which help to NOT touching the sink here !!!!!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVEit .I haven't seen any salon is Salem doing that. I am so exiting for my pedicure appointment. I would recommend people to visit new management. They awlays care about your service and want to make sure you have a great experience. My husband had delux pedicurte today for his first time, he was loving it ! There is pedicure liner which is disposable each customer, I bet there is only one place in Salem does. VERY VERY personal cleanliness, even the nails files, they didn't charge us like others places did. They offer to every customer disposable nails kit with NO fee. And me for doing design for Easter Sunday ! Today is the second time I came back, Kimberly she did my nails with SNS deep around a month ago, but it still looks great like just had done, didn't break up , didn't come out, it was so wonderful ! We love this place so much after they had new manager, always checking in you having great experience. Highly recommend to people . read more

This nail salon is under new management and they are wonderful, I followed Kimberly from her last place of business because she takes the best care of me always making sure that I'm totally happy with nails and if I have a problem she is more then willing to fix it the way I like. It doesn't take her long to remember just how you prefer your nails. They have gone in and cleaned up the store from the other owners. It is clean and very comfortable please everyone go in give them a chance to show you how good they are you won't be sorry you did. read more

I found Kimberly's work on Facebook and was impressed and scheduled through Facebook with her as well. I got to the salon and it was closed due to a family emergency. I would have been understanding had I been informed but no one told me after I drove 35 minutes just to go. I reached out about my frustrations and they accommodated $25 off a service of my choice which I appreciated. I am extremely happy with my nails and Kimberly did an amazing job despite my very first impressions I will be coming back because of how much I love them! read more

Evette and Kimberley fit me in today for nail removal, new set of Ombry nails. Kimberely did my nail. She did an awesome job, I will definitly be returning. She was careful to insure all equipment used was sanitized. SHe took care not to damage my cuticles and surrounding skin. She listened to what i wanted done and did it. Very nice woman and love the way she did my nails. Couldn't ask for better. My mom decided to treat me, her best friend and herself to mani-pedis here and we were delighted with the excellent service and care these ladies gave us! We called ahead and they were able to squeeze all three of us in and as soon as we walked in they set us up in the pedicure chairs. Very clean: they used brand-new pedicure sets for each client, lined the foot baths, and sterilized all of the equipment. Plus DaVi has an impressive selection of polishes to choose from! read more

Kimberly did an AMAZING JOB. My acrylic set was so thick and one nail was cracked in half from previously getting them done at Salem Center and she took her time to make sure they were PERFECT. So many colors to choose from, everybody is so polite, professional and kind. Technician was nice and engaging although I'm a little hard at hearing so I misunderstood some things she said (which is my fault I won't put that on her). They were able to fit me in for a pedicure same day. My technician was Lynda and she did a wonderful job for me. Very nice, gave me a great massage. Usually when I ask for short nails they dont trim them short enough but Lynda took them down to a perfect length for me. So HAPPY with my toes and nails!!! This place is a gem, found inside of Walmart!!! Sat with Kimberly and she was sooo attentive and nice!! They use a new organic system that can be found at a snsnails.com -- this new system keeps your nails strong and healthy unlike shellac, where it actually can thin your nails out. My sister and I have been coming here for 7 years and we LOVE Kim she does amazing work! I've driven up to three hours just to have her do my nails!! The girls do amazing pedicures actually I'd say the best I've ever had!!! I really highly recommend h this shop!!! read more

Really great nails that are strong too. Very cute, a little different than what I asked for but still very cute. Kimberly is amazing! The only thing is they filed too hard and broke the skin. They were very busy though and made sure I was taken care of read more
