What drew me in was the first time wax promo they had if I'm being honest. However, I was very happy with my experience. I forget the name of the girl who did my Brazilian (Asia?), but she made the entire experience comfortable and she even helped share some Houston tips for a newbie like me. It wasn't painful nor unpleasant under her hands but rather quick and easy. I really appreciated friendly faces and conversations in this new environment!

The process was explained well and the technician, I can't remember her name, did a great job. There is some discomfort, they are ripping hair from your nose, but not like I imagined. But already one of the girls seemed annoyed. I showed what I was wanting. I showed her the designs and everything. She did not tell me that she could not do it or that they had stickers (I hate stickers) and she would not be painting the designs. The designs beings little four point stars and dots and a couple of other things that are simple. So when it comes time to do the design, she tells me she has stickers. But they end up being different shades of gold and I was frustrated at that point because I was not informed from the get go so I said okay. She told me she did not have stickers for the other two things I wanted and I asked if she could paint it and she said she would try. But if you know this ahead of time (because she knew what I wanted) why not let me know and go to someone who can actually do what I want. She did an okay job with her attempt but it was with a different shade of gold paint so now I have a glitter gold paint (did not want glittery gold) and some really yellow gold stickers and then some softer gold stickers so three mismatched golds on my nails. And she was annoyed from the beginning so she just seemed more and more annoyed as time went on. If I'm paying for extra designs/chrome/etc, why be annoyed? I'm not getting this extra work for free. So in the end she was not able to recreate what I wanted (she knew she wouldn't be able to but didn't tell me to start) and her attitude was there from the start. I do believe I was overcharged as well-only by $5 but I looked at their menu and website over and over and did my math and even in person asked her to go over and she told me acrylic was $50 but online it is full set for $45. They told me moving forward if I want all hair removed from the front they will charge me for a brazilian ($65) which in my opinion is "cutting corners" with pricing and service. Reason being is that I do NOT want a butt strip. At European Wax Center they only charge me ($56) for a FULL bikini up to my standards. I also came by today wanting to purchase their "clarifying" spray because I do enjoy their line of products. The front desk lady had no interest on helping me look for the product and I walked out without my purchase I wanted. I'am disappointed with the company and will no longer be giving my business here.
