I read great reviews about this place and I am puzzled that people were actually able to get a call back from Davey Autobody. I drove over on a Monday and the shop was open, but there was a note on the door saying the office staff works offsite on that day. That's fine. I called the number on the door and didnt' get a response. I called the next day and didn't get a call back. Four days later still no call. In the meantime I found a different shop - based on Yelp reviews - and immediately got a call back from them and the service from this alternative place has been amazing. On April 13th, stopped by for a quote because they were recommended by a nearby auto repair shop. The person that gave quotes, the owner Mike Davey, wasn't there and I was given his business card and I left. I called and left a message for Mike to let him know I need a quote and give me a time to stop by again. He didn't return my call. Since I live nearby, I stopped by the following day. Again, Mike wasn't there so I left. The following day, April 15th, I came by and finally Mike was there. He gave me a fair quote, said I could drop the car off anytime 4/26, and he'd have it complete by 4/28. Today is April 26th, I called at 9:30am to let him know I'm on my way and confirm everything - no answer. At 9:45am I pull up to the shop, and he's still not there. I call him after I left to let him know I came by, and to call me back when it's a good time to drop my car off. It's nearly been 4 hours, and Mike has not called me back. i rearranged my day to make this happen and so he could have my car these 3 days. Its completely unprofessional and rude to not call someone back. Since I left their parking lot, I've already received a quote and dropped off my car for repairs from a nearby shop with great reviews. Plus, they beat Davey's price, and I've decided to give my business to them instead of Davey Automotive. If I can even get a return call so that I can become their customer, Can you imagine what would happen if there were issues with their work and I needed a warranty repair? Total Red flags with this company. I dont know why I bothered to chase them down for a quote to begin with. I think God has better plans for me, my car and my business. read more

Took all the cars info including vin number and never gave me a quote to fix my sons car. I tried calling back multiple times but they recognized my phone number and ignored my calls day after day...week after week. Guess they don't want to work. Photos look like they did good jobs also. This shop obviously does quality work based on their longevity at location. You can clearly see by the caliber of lowriders , supercars , and luxury high end vehicles that they know what they are doing as far as the actual work. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE THOUGH!! .....I tried to schedule my vehicle over the course of two weeks. After being handed the owners card 3 times , several voicemails,leaving info at shop, and talking to the owner Mike once, I could still not get a drop off date or return call. The office does not exist for customer walk in. A couple of times stopping by and there was a lady at a desk with her back turned and the office locked. I finally gave up!! Davey auto body exceeded expectations. In the world of vehicle repair and auto shops in general I don't have much faith or trust due to the fact that so many have attempted to rip me off in the past - with that said, here's why Davey is fantastic My wife and I took our Ford vehicles to Davey to get some significant scratches out of one vehicle, and to have the bumpers and fenders re clipped on the other. I had priced out the scratches at other shops and although other places were honest about the details of the work that would have to be done, was never satisfied with the pricing from other places. When we took the vehicles to Davey, we spoke to Mike who worked out a deal where we'd be able to pay to have the work done to fix the scratches (which were large scrapes basically caused from being side-swiped) at a much cheaper price than I had previously found, but also included fixing the bumpers and fenders on the other vehicle. We also inquired about getting other work done, but Mike explained fully that we didn't need the work and gave us a cost effective alternative. Essentially, they helped us save money and turned away business because they actually looked out for their customers. Mike really put the effort in to make sure that we were happy with the work and when I picked up the vehicle they perfectly matched the side of the car to the paint job, and had to replace brackets to keep the bumpers and fenders on and had done so with no hassle to us. I will say this is kind of the standard that should be followed in all service industries but especially in the auto repair industry. The work was phenomenal, timely, and well priced, plus Mike had a lot of great references for other issues we had with our vehicles. My wife and I give them our highest recommendation for not only the quality of work, but the service that they provided to ensure we were satisfied. read more

i took my 2012 Golf to Davey in 2015. Over several months, I returned it numerous times for corrections and do-overs. Even when they had lists of specific items to address, things would be left undone, or done poorly. The first time it was supposedly ready, they hadn't done the alignment, which had been promised, and which was critical. They replaced a white door with a used red one, and initially didn't cover the red paint on the inside edge. In addition, the interior door panel had damage. These are just a couple of examples. After several months of back and forth, there were still many paint flaws. Mike is as nice a guy as there is. He worked with me the best he could. He used OEM parts even when the insurance only paid for after-market. I have no doubt he lost money on my car. The experience was stressful and frustrating for me, and probably for him. After so many attempts, I didn't believe his shop was capable of making the car right. I had decided to sell it, and felt the sub-par work would affect the price. I sat on it for a while, and then the VW diesel scandal broke. So I waited, and eventually took the buy-back. read more

Wow! Lindy's Auto Upholstery referred me to Davey for a new paint job. Lindy's is another great shop but they focus on upholstery.) I have a 2006 Toyota Land Cruiser and it was so dingy. The clearcoat had peeled off, there were cracks in the paint on the bumper, and fingerprints all over the place that I could not get out. I had been shopping around pricing for a new paint job but the places I had considered were either too expensive, or got terrible reviews. When Lindy's referred me to Davey, I looked them up immediately. There's a reason why they have five star reviews across the board. My car was worked on quickly and delivered before the date they had quoted. The people are absolutely incredible and take a lot of pride in what they do, and they added a little bit of extra work into other areas. The cost was definitely reasonable, and what I really appreciated is that they quoted me based on what they thought I needed, and not what I thought I needed.
