Great job by Benny and crew on my Alfa Romeo Giulia. The clear coat on the black panel above the windshield had weathered and peeled off over the years. Benny's did a great job sanding down the panel, applying the correct color of black, and applying clear coat. The work was flawless, and the panel looks like new, again. Quick turnaround, excellent work, and a reasonable price: most highly recommended. read more

Omg ! Dont bring your car here ! Had some repair work done at bennys back in December and I recently went thru a dip and the bumper detached from the bottom . Drove home and pulled the bumper off to find a bunch of missing bolts and no clips where there should have been . They only put back like 1/3 of the supporting bolts ! The plastic pieces inside the bumper were just loosely place without any buttons to hold them in . The work outside was below average but the work you dont see is terrible! The price is paid by my Insurance and is the same price anywhere. It's better to go somewhere else for quality work . I dont know how he got 4.8 rating on here ? read more

After getting several quotes in La Mesa and Lemon Grove, Benny's offered the most reasonable price. From the start, Benny Jr. impressed me with his honesty and straightforward approach. He clearly explained the work involved and provided a quote that I paid exactly--nothing more. He estimated the repairs would take a week, and they delivered on time. Not only did they fix my car perfectly, but they also washed and cleaned the interior, which was a fantastic bonus. The service was exceptional, and I highly recommend Benny's for any auto body work. I will definitely return if I need any future repairs. read more

We hit a tire on I-5. Took the car to a dealer and they said we needed to replace an engine cover and fender. Got a second opinion at Benny's and they said the engine cover and fender were just missing a few screws. They took care of the repairs and added one missing part. Benny's saved us more than $1,000. We would definitely go to Benny's again for any body work. Thank you for your honesty and customer service! read more

I went to this place to get my hood repainted on my Toyota FJ cruiser on Tuesday 6-25-2024 and by Saturday morning it was done. I was told that it would be done at approximately that time frame, and it was. When I laid eyes on that hood I was blinded by the shine! They did a flawless job on my truck hood and would highly recommend anyone to this place. The price was very reasonable and both owners (father & son) were professional and friendly. read more

Benny Jr and his team fixed the passenger door of my 2022 black Toyota sienna near perfectly. We initially went to Caliber Collision in Mission Gorge and was quoted more than double what Benny Jr was charging and they had horrible customer service. Price here was more than reasonable, it was fixed in a timely manner, and the overall experience was a 10/10. read more

Took my vehicle here for repairs from damages to my passenger door and side mirror. The repairs which were minimal took longer than a week to be completed. When i arrived to the body shop and inspected my vehicle, i noticed that the repairs to the side mirror had not been completed as listed on the repair estimate. I was told to bring my vehicle in again so they could complete the repair. I returned a week later and waited over an hour (granted the owner said it would be 30 minutes or so) for them to tell me that they were not able to properly install the side mirror because they ordered the wrong piece. They told me to return to get it fixed. Weeks later i called to arrange the repair for the third time and the owner told me he needed to check to see if they had the correct part, which they should have ordered. I have not heard back from him and it has been two weeks. I would not recommend benny's auto body to anyone. the repairs were not completed and when the customer service was very disappointing. I will not be returning to Benny's. read more

10/10 Service. I brought my car into Benny's Auto Body Shop for dent removal and a fresh paint job on the front fender. The entire process was seamless from start to finish. The team was professional and kept me updated throughout. I had my car back in less than a week, and it looked brand new. Couldn't be happier with the results, definitely recommend them to anyone needing bodywork! read more

Someone hit my Tesla in a parking lot and damaged the rear fender. I received a few quotes and found Bennys to be very competitive and had excellent reviews. I went in for an estimate and had them repair some front bumper damage as well. It took a few extra days due to waiting on paint color but Bennys paid for part of my rental car due to the inconvenience. I was very happy with the work and would recommend them to anyone who needs auto body work. Excellent value from my experience. read more

I highly recommend Benny's Auto Body on El Cajon Blvd. They did a great job with the work I needed done (painted spoiler on my car); they even washed my vehicle and cleaned the headlights (and, oh, I mentioned an issue I have been having for years ~ ticking sound when I turned on the AC/Heat and he fixed that too). Great service! Family owned! The owner and son are friendly and honest. I am definitely returning and recommending to friends and family.

My friend and I have used Benny's Auto body for repairs over the years and has always been reliable! Today a friend's driver door wouldn't open to of course I took him to Benny's. Benny came out in a few moments, identified the problem immediately, adjusted the door. With a minute it seemed he was done and door opened perfectly. He didn't even charge my friend and we were on our way. This is what great friendly Customer Service is about. Benny spotted a simple fix during a busy day, took a few seconds to help customers rather than have us wait for something so simple. It was GREAT and NO CHARGE. THANK YOU BENNY!! Highly recommend Benny's Auto Body. read more

I have used Benny's Auto Body a few times recently and can't commend them enough! They're honest and absolutely go the extra mile to help. My experience is always wonderful with them, you almost feel like family. I took my car in today after a minor brush with a cement pillar in the parking garage. In less than 5 minutes they rubbed off the white paint from the pillar and pulled the front fender so it was even with the door. It look's perfect now. The amazing thing is, they didn't even charge me! I was so grateful not to pay my $500 insurance deductible. I love Benny's!! read more

I had Benny repaint the roof of my SLK320 due to clear coat failure. The car is yellow which is known to be difficult to match and it is 22 years old so fading on different parts of the car is an issue. His color match and blending was perfect. The texture of the paint is perfect. He is an artist. This is my body shop of choice from now on. Top quality work. He also was the lowest of the quotes I received. read more

My 2009 Prius and 2009 Honda CRV were showing their age. Scratches and dents all over the place. Very satisfied with work Heavily recommended. Very nice people run this business

Benny is a dope dude w a kind heart, great work, and affordable prices. If you need auto body work, he is honest and extremely fair. I have already recommended him to friends. Thanks Benny! read more

I recently rear-ended someone with my 2003 Ford Taurus and my insurance only covered the people I hit. I could only afford to make the car drive-able again instead of making it look like new. So, I brought it to Benny Jr. & hoped for the best. And they delivered! The were able to replace my headlight (the assembly & the bulb, which isn't a cheap combo), replace the hood, fix my right side mirror, and repair the driver's side door so that it could open again (the metal had been pushed back so that the door couldn't open) ALL FOR $400! I know the car doesn't look pretty (and that pained Benny - they really wanted to fix everything but I said no) but it is infinitely better than it was and was done for an extremely fair price. I will go to Benny's every time I need any body work done on my car again. See the pictures for the before and after pictures. read more

This is a trustworthy, legit business that does great work at competitive prices. We took our then-year-old SUV here a few years ago after it was stolen and recovered with some sideswipe damage. It wasn't a huge repair (insurance estimated it $2K, I think), but we needed it to be done right without getting We collected several estimates and asked for details of how the work would be done. The owner of this business came in at the low-end on price and on the high-end of explaining what really needed to be done. The work was done as scheduled and it looked great, "like nothing ever happened." Of course, I worried if it would last. Fast forward a few years and this shop's work has held up very well. No fading paint, etc. You honestly can't tell which side was damaged. In short: Great work that lasts. And they get it done on time at a competitive price. read more
