Within seconds, I received a text that my order had been received, but not confirmed, and to watch for a confirmation text. After 30 minutes, I still had not received a confirmation text, so I messaged asking for an approximate time. The reply stated they were "slammed" and that my order would be ready in about 30 minutes. After another 45 minutes, I still had not received any communication from them, so I decided to walk over to check on my order, hoping that it would be ready. The first thing I noticed was that there were not a lot of customers inside. I informed the server behind the bar that I was there to pick up my order, and she went back to check. When she returned, she told me that there were no pickup orders. I showed her the email with my order number and told her that I never received a confirmation from them. She went back into the kitchen, then came back and said they didn't have my order, but could make it while I waited - about 10 minutes. I reluctantly agreed and waited. When I got my order, I asked for a few extra cups of sauce. The server was put off, as if asked to perform an overwhelming task. Needless to say, I left the establishment with a less-than-favorable taste in my mouth. 24 hours later, I received a text from them that my order was confirmed and would be ready to be picked up. I texted back that this was 24 hours late and to cancel the order. The reply was that their texting service was unavailable, and to call for questions. I then replied to the confirmation email, hoping that would get through to them. No such luck. The reply I received said that delivery had failed - that their email box was full. I will say that the food was good, and that the server was mainly friendly. However, the whole online ordering system needs some serious revamping. I hope that Whiskey River will take this review as constructive criticism so that future customers will have an easier, smoother online ordering experience.

They seem to participate in a lot of the downtown Nampa events throughout the year. Andrew, the owner, is awesome. Always knowledgeable and engaging with customers. I've heard very positive thongs about the wine club, but I haven't enrolled...yet. Great place to meet up with friends, for a date night, or to sit at the bar and enjoy a drink by yourself. It's labeled as a wine bar, but they have a great selection of beers on tap. And I'm not sure if they have a "full bar", but they have Bloody Mary Sundays and behind the bar, a great selection of bourbon/whiskey.

He served them, then went back and got us a menu. Why he couldn't just bring us both a menu is beyond me. Once he came over and gave us a menu we asked about the Caprese' that was on the chalk board when we walked in. He informed us that he had a group of 50+ coming in for a reunion and that he was unable to accommodate us, but could do a premade charcuterie board. We ordered the C-board and two glasses of red wine. From that point on we were not checked on once and our C-board never came. We finished our wine and checked out. Upon leaving there were 7/50 ppl there for the reunion. In all fairness, if you've got a party planned, close your store and remove the chalkboard advertising food... Would not recommend.

I walked in and OMG, It's way bigger than I thought and so stunning! The booths and chandeliers were very classy. The bartender Mel assisted me and she was very pleasant. She let me know that while they have coffee drinks, she's not much of a barista...they have an experienced barista on staff but they only work there from about 7am to 1pm and I was there approx 1:30pm. She stated she could make simple lattes but nothing all that fancy from the coffee menu as cocktails are her actual specialty so I decided to go with alcoholic libations since that's what she knows how to make. One that stood out to me was called the "Figgy Fizz" which is made with a fig syrup and I was excited as for breakfast yesterday I had the best Greek yogurt I've ever had which was honey and fig flavored so I was definitely in a fig mood lol she whipped up the drink but unfortunately after she handed it to me, she let me know she couldn't find the fig syrup they put in it so she substituted that with pumpkin spice. I was kind of bummed about that and wished she would have asked me first if that substitution was okay with me or if I'd want to try something else because now it's not a "figgy fizz" but a pumpkin spice fizz but I still drank it and it was decent. I decided to try one more drink which was a pomegranate rosemary lemon drop and it was beautiful and very tasty ! It's a nice spot to have a drink, the staff is quite friendly and they have some unique flavors so i can see myself frequenting this establishment. I want to come back soon and give their coffee drinks a try when I can stop by earlier!

All of the employees and bartenders were a lot of fun and very personable. It looks like everyone working really enjoys it. So nice to see! No food, except charcuterie boxes for sale. But we were told we were welcome to bring food in. I was there with a friend for a Valentine's-themed mimosa crawl. The most popular drink special was the Love is Dead mimosa. Very cool looking and tasty. Great place for a date night, cocktail before a dinner out, or hanging with the girls. Looking forward to trying their coffee offerings in the future.

I took the opportunity to see ELF the musical recently as Elf is my favorite Christmas movie of all time and I consider myself to be the biggest fan of the movie Elf, I could literally quote the movie word for word !! The show was phenomenal- so funny and heartwarming!!! They also had a raffle going on where you could win awesome Elf themed holiday gift baskets- I bought 8 raffle tickets for $25 and I ended up winning BOTH gift baskets which ended up being approx $800 worth of items that were donated by generous local businesses!!!! I had such a fun time at the show and look forward to returning for future productions here! We dropped by at 10pm for their dancing and live DJ (because no other space in Nampa offers this) and the music was ear drums bursting LOUD. Our group of 8 went from celebrating a party to having no ability to communicate verbally because we literally could not hear ourselves think. The DJ also added a touch of fog machine to the unbearable music. The place was so fogged up we could barley breathe. It was disappointing that the only non smoking bar in downtown was filled with synthetic fog. And NO ONE in the building was dancing. The music genre being played was combative and had a negative undertone. I mean play something up beat, that gets people out of their comfort zones and having a good time, connecting, not mind numbing Rap that made it feel like a bar fight was going to erupt at any moment. There is also an issue of safety with the fog, the blasting music and the negative vibes of everyone there feeding off the energy of the overwhelmingly loud music. There's incredible old school rap, rock, Michael Jackson, newer age artist you name it. This business was an extension of the Destination 112 which closed earlier this year due to lack of customers. They seem to have stepped up the visual representation of the business and it's stunning but they have the same issues, to loud of music, weird preference like gassing their customers and a crowd that feels like it will erupt into violence at any moment. There is also only one pool table. All in all this is prolly a decent spot to drop into early in the night, but it gets pretty unsafe in my book after 10 and with the current nature of domestic attacks on nightclubs across the country It feels to negative and unsafe to justify bringing people I care about and enjoy her
