Sean agreed the damage was caused by them,& he told me they would pay for the repair. The repair was quoted to be $2700. We agreed on a amout to be sent by check. A month later - no check, I left a message. His mother called - check's in the mail. Simply pack up your cube which gets delivered to your door and the driver will pick it up. It fits a lot more than it looks so don't be deceived by the initial look of it! I've been able to fit my queen bed, mattress, a huge couch, tons of boxes in just one cube. I've even taken advantage of their storage option since both my moves involved a wait period until I moved into my next place. Don't go renting a uhaul to drive your stuff! U-Pack is easier and affordable. Also cheaper than PODS. No complaints here!

My 10-year-old can pack better than these guys! Who takes a stack of ten dinner plates, wraps the entire stack in a single sheet of packing paper, throws it in the box with a bunch of other breakables, half fills the box so it gets smashed under the weight of other boxes thrown on top of it, and calls it good? Who takes the contents out of a drawer and tosses it into a box, helter-skelter, and thinks to himself, "Boy, that looks amazing?!" A house full of treasured mementos from years of world travel and government service, carelessly thrown into boxes, arrive at their destination, missing pieces or full of dents...once-spotless furniture is now dirty, chipped, and torn. My father-in-law even gave these guys a generous tip! These guys obviously could care less if they did a good job or not. Absolutely no pride in their work. I wouldn't recommend this company to my worst enemy. Actually, the ONLY time I would recommend this company is for anyone going through divorce or relationship breakup, if you need to get your ex's stuff outta the house. Was told they would send a 20' truck but only sent a 15' truck which resulted in an additional 2 hours due to a second trip. Was told we would be charged $155 an hour but was charged $165. We were sent two random movers that barely knew what they were doing; after a certain point they asked for my help to move items which resulted in multiple injuries due to their negligence. The movers took easily a total of an hour in breaks which resulted in me calling George to not be charged for the time. I asked previously if they were insured to which George replied they are, but when asked for the insurance company name, he refused to give it to me. DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY, YOU WILL REGRET IT! My Indiana side was handled by Colt Moving - Wildcat Van Lines, and was completed with care and expertise. The second part in Maryland was where my nightmare began and ended as an absolute horror show. 1. The movers in Maryland were incompetent, lazy, took lots of breaks and talked incessantly about things that had nothing to do with my move. The head person kept talking about his OCD and his need for medication. But, the worse part of this nightmare was their every 1 & 1/2 hours threatening to stop work if they were not paid in advance for an additional 2 hours, even though they were the ones dragging out the time by chatting, socializing, and taking breaks. My brother and a neighbour actually had to step in to help towards the last 2 hours in order to move things along and not have another $507.68 charged to my account. And then, when I thought things could not get any worse, here came all the complaining and their lack of skill and strength to take my washing machine and dryer upstairs where the hookup was located. The outcome was gashed walls in several places, drag marks damaging the paint in several areas, and chipped wood on and around the stairs. My brother took over at a certain point due to their callousness and incompetence and did the heavy work. He also eventually had to setup the units himself after they left it all undone, claiming they had no experience in hooking up a washer and dryer. They also left the furniture, like my bed, unassemled for my brother to setup. These "movers" also did considerable damage with dents on my bed frame, washing machine and dryer. They also broke the top of a beautiful white TV stand with built in electric fireplace. I do not have the heart to give it away as damaged, so I will need to call a carpenter to see if there is anything that can be done to mask the damage to the top portion. This was the WORSE moving experience EVER and I have moved/relocated quite a bit for my job. If you want to take risk that this was just a one-time unfortunate circumstance, go ahead and trust your precious possessions to this company. Just remember you were warned.
