Also, I don't know how he managed to fit everything in the back of his truck, but he did, tied it down well and covered it with a tarp so nothing would fly out while driving. He was super clear about taking it to the dump, so I know this stuff won't end up on the side of the road somewhere or dumped in the woods, too many people do that so they don't have to pay the dump fees. He worked quickly and was done loading in about a half hour. At least half of that time was spent rearranging stuff in the back of his truck so it would all fit and could be tied down. I'm holding onto his number! I will definitely use him again! Totally professional, courteous, and hardworking, I have only good things to say! Through Yelp, Metavision LLC was a company that promptly inquired about our situation and offered to come and give a free estimate. The gentleman I spoke with, Brian, was very knowledgeable and professional. He came and assessed the situation and assured they would be able to resolve our leak issues. He had to check his schedule and let me know when they would be able to come for the repair. Communication was consistent by phone or text and they were able to come within 3 days. I received the invoice for the work and the amount was reasonably priced compared to the average price for the work we needed done. The day of the replacement, we were in communication before arrival, during service, and after the work was done. Brian was actually very respectful and personable. He was able to answer any questions we had and offered to assist us further if any more problems occurred. I am happy we chose this business for our repair. They are new to Yelp with not a lot of reviews but have been doing business for over a decade. Black Owned Business too, which I am glad to see as this isn't as common in this industry. I called the 800 number on Nov. 3 and it was clear that it wasn't an office but some manner of call service that plugged me in with another individual. The gentleman was pleasant enough and said that a tech would call me before EOD. I received a TEXT from Abi, not a call, at 6:08 pm. I never had someone text me instructions about a potential home visit before but, as I'm desperate for repairs, I went with it despite my reluctance. I asked in the text to have the tech please share their license and credentials. I don't know these people. I just needed to know who I'm letting into my home. I received a call from a gentleman I assumed to be the owner or operator who took umbrage at me asking for the credentials of the tech, and proceeded to call it "weird" (that is the word he used) that I'd ask since, and I quote, "all we're doing is an estimate." I don't care if you were building the Ark of the Covenant divined by God himself, I am not letting someone in my home without knowing fully who they are. Call it paranoia, call it weird as that person did, but they can take that attitude and go the other way. I'll find someone else.

They somehow turned what is typically a very stressful process into a smooth and collaborative one. We interviewed nine contractors before choosing Talon for a full gut renovation of our home. Talon stood out immediately as the most professional and detail-oriented team we met. We first connected with Darren in 2023, and his depth of knowledge was apparent from the beginning. He pointed out practical design considerations and code requirements that other contractors had missed. We went back and forth on the scope for over a year, and he was consistently patient, responsive, and generous with his time. He never rushed us and always made himself available to answer questions. We started construction in August 2025-- The construction crew had an excellent work ethic. They arrived early and worked hard - something even our neighbors commented on. They took pride in their work and paid close attention to details. The workmanship was just excellent. The work site was consistently clean and organized. They did a great job at handling unexpected situations and communicating that to me. Eddie took the time to explain everything thoroughly before moving forward. Even when we made scope changes, they were flexible and incorporated those changes without making it feel stressful or complicated. And probably the thing that impressed me the most was that they ran the whole project with integrity. They uncovered an improperly vented dryer which was a fire hazard and promptly brought it up to code. There were other moments like this throughout the project- too many to fully capture here - that consistently reinforced how much they value doing things the right way. I have to mention Eddie who was incredible throughout the entire process. He was calm, responsive and communicated clearly. He seriously made the entire project enjoyable. They were fair and transparent when it came to pricing and change orders.
