I said I'd leave a review, but I put it off until now, sorry! I was moving out to an apartment out of my parents' home, and my father has a bad back. He was adamant though that movers were slow, scamming miscreants that would charge us two thousand dollars and take all day to do it, because he had quite a bad experience with some when my sister moved out. I was determined to prove him wrong, so I asked around for quotes from a few places on Yelp the day before we moved. It was pretty last-minute, and I was moving on a Sunday too, but Top Notch had the best quote out of the ones who replied. They were friendly and polite and they worked fast. They let us know and asked us what we wanted when there was difficulty with fitting the couch through the narrow hall door. When it really couldn't fit, they brought it all the way back downstairs, wheeled it around the block to the back of the house, and carried it up again to try the back balcony door. Luckily it fit! They made sure to ask where I wanted furniture to be placed and if I needed anything moved around at the end too. My dad was quite pleased with it, so I achieved my mission as well. Antwan and two other crew members helped me move, and they were very professional, efficient, honest, and courteous. Not only did they handle all my items carefully, but they always seemed to be mindful of ways to get the job done fast. They also wore masks at all times, and acted responsibly and safely during the pandemic. Best of all, when I made my initial order, and then contacted Antwan to request a quote for a change (making an additional stop), he gave me multiple options for how to go about it with different prices, so I could choose the best one. He could have just given me one option at the higher price, so I appreciate his integrity. The price was very reasonable. Plus they had a great attitude. When some things didn't go completely as planned on moving day (my fault), they didn't get upset, they just rolled with it. Overall, moving day was very low-stress thanks to them. I used their services to move from Woodbridge, VA to NC. First I sent them list of my stuff that I am planning to move, and they recommended two trucks based on my list and they were right definitely I needed the two trucks 26 and 16 feet. The day of the move they came with the needed man power to finish the job, the move took two days. They came and carefully took my belongings out of the house (no damage bump to walls or furniture's) and loaded my stuff in one day, took it to their storage facility and delivered it early next day. Took the needed time to disassembled and re-assemble furniture's, very professional and pleasant people. I am very pleased with their services and totally recommend it. Courteous, professional, and timely. My husband and I had to move less than a year after moving into our last place, and were really worried about how long it was going to take to get everything from point A to point B. The last few moves we did on our own, and just getting the stuff from one place to another was a whole day affair. Top Notch moved everything (with only four guys!) in LESS than four hours! They even dismantled and reassembled furniture we didn't know how to take apart, AND put together the furniture we did. They were all super friendly and so helpful. I made my move with Top Notch in Mid-Decemeber and they were FANTASTIC. Antwan and his team were great. No extras or hidden costs, and pricing that was better than any other quote for 4 guys. They arrived on time, brought an extra truck just in case we needed it (which we did) based on my description of what we were moving. They even were able to make a second trip to finish clearing out my storage unit. They maneuvered some really tough pieces of furniture around odd corners and up stairs. They took special care wrapping some more sentimental pieces that I asked them too. Any damage was tiny compared to what I've suffered through with other movers. He was prompt and professional and I felt very confident throughout the day that he and his team were taking great care of all our items, big and small. On my scheduled move date ( April 17th) not only were they on time, they actually arrived ahead of schedule! The entire move was stress free. The owner was very transparent and honest with the fees, and that's rare in this area; just speaking from experience. They handled my belongings with extra care and set up everything in my new home to ensure a smooth transition.
