10 pc. Cauliflower Tender Bites w/ Fries
    Sharell W.

Was in NJ for an event and decided I'd try Dave's Hot Chicken and I have no regrets!! I purchased the chicken bites and the cauliflower bites in medium heat! They were great, at times I notice Buffalo cauliflower from other places has been too seasoned or greasy, Dave's didn't do this. The cauliflower was good, it wasn't over saturated and the vegetables still tasted like a vegetable. I didn't eat the fries, but the fries tasted good and was seasoned well. I also purchased the kale slaw, which was very good! It had the right amount of sweet and savory, I'd go back just for that because many places don't offer this item. The price a little over $30 which in my opinion is typical for 2 meals. The person who rang me up was Malik, he was courteous and attentive, answering all the questions I had. Inside the establishment was pretty cool, colorful graffitied walls and Dave's Hot Chicken abbreviations throughout! The star of the show was the napkins!! The napkins were a play on words for some 2pac songs which as a fan was very nice to see. I also appreciated the story behind Dave's Hot Chicken, which little to my knowledge began in the West Coast (I included a pic please read it!). Overall, I will be going back to my local Dave's Hot Chicken!

    Topping containers as water cups.

I really wanted to like Dave's Hot Chicken in Secaucus, but the experience fell flat before I even got my food. They handed out water cups that were literally topping containers, which already felt careless and unprofessional. Then, before any food or service is even provided, they spin the screen around with preset tip options of 15%, 20%, and 25% for counter service. That alone tells me a lot about the management priorities. By that point, I was already turned off. Even if the food were great, the overall experience and attitude toward customers ruined it for me. Zero stars -- I won't be going back.

Single Slider (free promo; ~$8 regular price)

Ordered: Single Slider (free promo; ~$8 regular price): chicken tender (medium heat) served on potato bun with kale slaw, pickles, and drizzled with Dave's sauce Small Top Loaded Fries (~$7): fries topped with cheese sauce, pickles, kale slaw and 3 Dave's Bites (mild heat) and a drizzle of Dave's sauce Aya's take: I love that for the past few years Dave's has been giving a free slider for Drake's birthday! Drake is an investor and supporter in Dave's Hot Chicken and I love that this is one way they give back every year. Not to mention, Drake is one of my favorite artists of all time and I'm a big fan of hot chicken so swinging by for lunch was a no brainer. I stopped by around 4pm right before the dinner rush when it got super crowded. On a day like this, they should have had more staff. Despite that, the workers were friendly, my order came out in about 10 minutes, and it was time to dig in. The Single Slider alone is pretty solid but I wanted something extra to make it feel like a proper meal. Their new Top Loaded Fries was just perfect! Considering Fries alone are $4; for an extra $3, you get some chicken bites & toppings, making this well worth it. The chicken tender was fresh, crispy, and tender. The medium heat was delicious and not overpowering. I liked it a lot better than the mild Dave's bites I got in the Top Loaded Fries. If I'm being picky, I would rather they chop up a tender onto the fries instead of bites. The pickles and kale slaw added that delicious crunch and freshness that cut through the fattiness of the meal. And overall, it was super filling & satisfying! My main complaint was that the line where people waited for their orders spilled over into the tables where people sit. It was distracting constantly having people stand around/over me or walk by back & forth. The table layout could definitely be optimized. As for the food, they're doing a great job and glad we have a location in Secaucus!

Appreciate the napkins but wet-naps would be way more practical here...

[Second visit ever to a Dave's, first time at this location.] Overlooking the absolute lunacy of how many people were coming and going into the Harmon Meadow complex early into a Saturday evening - we finally found a parking spot not too far away - and were excited to give this recently-opened Dave's a shot. A tight, focused menu. Seven levels of heat/spice. We all went with something different. My 'bites' were... not the best. I found myself biting into aggressively seasoned pieces of chicken that were oozing oil. Then I'd reach for a French fry that was... also seasoned to the hilt. With everything becoming very 'one note' my entire mouth is begging for some relief from the paprika-obsessed Dave's. So I'd have to alternate between a pickle slice or a nibble of the white bread that's "lining" the bottom of the tray. Both worked wonders and my taste buds were happy to get a reprieve every now and then. (And just to be clear: I only ordered 'mild' - it wasn't the spice-heat-level but just the sheer AMOUNT of seasoning/spices they applied to the food.) The restaurant has some cool graffiti on the walls but otherwise the place looks and feels a bit 'incomplete'. (The Mrs. was miffed they didn't offer ketchup.) Portions are no joke. Pricing was okay. Parking - it can be challenging, depending when you're here. It's amazing what $900 and a dream all the way over there in Los Angeles was able to accomplish now that Dave's has close to 300 locations scattered across this great land. (Although I'm not sure if we'll be coming back anytime soon.)

My family loves any Hot Chicken spot so they finally convinced me to try Daves Hot Chicken. Their newest location in Secaucus is really nice and bright! The dining area is pretty roomy. I love how the menus are displayed, so eye catching! The gentleman at the counter was so nice and helpful! I ordered the 2 pieces mild tender meal with fries. So for me the taste was just ok nothing amazing. The white meat chicken was tender but i dont know i wasnt wowed by it. Fries was good and plenty. I like that they give bread under the tenders. Im not sure if it was me or the food but the next day i was violently ill with stomach issues. So for me even if it wasnt the restaurant, i will always remember how i felt the next day so i think i will pass. But my husband and kids did enjoy their food and they were fine! Good to have more options in Secaucus!

So happy they opened this 5 minutes away from me! Great timing, too. I'm bulking for the winter. FOOD: The 2 piece chicken tenders were slightly smaller than the ones I've had at the NYC locations but could probably just be the batch... The seasoning was all there! The chicken itself was cooked well--juicy & flavorful! The bread was bread. The fries were a little over-seasoned. Still good! LOCATION: The place is super clean and a lot bigger than the NYC locations, even though the decor brings me back. I went about an hour before closing and there was virtually no wait. SERVICE: The staff were very friendly! Even though they've had to deal with me right before closing, everyone was still sweet and happy to help. It took about 8-10 minutes for the food to be cooked, not too bad! 10/10 I wish I got a picture of the food, I was so damn hungry.

My first time trying Dave's. I got the cauli sliders and was pleasantly surprised. It was spicy but not too much to the point where you can't enjoy the flavor. Dave's also has the best sauce in the game. The coleslaw helps to cut the heaviness of the greasy sliders very well. My only issue was that the cauliflower options were not advertised on the big screen menu and the employees were confused at first. They also didn't understand the pricing when we asked and the cauliflower costs $6 more than the regular chicken sliders which is insane. It was nice to try but would not return.

    Dry over cooked greasy chicken

If you walk into Kikiriki expecting a culinary journey through the streets of Lima, you might want…read moreto turn around and check the sign again. Despite proudly branding itself as a Peruvian restaurant, the menu tells a completely different story. Aside from a few items with "Peruvian" hastily slapped onto the front of their names, the selection is a bit of an identity crisis. But if you can look past the cultural bait-and-switch, Kikiriki actually has a few things going for it--namely, your wallet's happiness. The Food The Star: Rotisserie Chicken Let's start with the absolute best reason to visit. The chicken is, without a doubt, the savior of this establishment. Whatever SPICES they are using hits all the right notes. It's deeply savory, incredibly juicy, and sports a perfectly crisped, seasoned skin. If you stick to a quarter or half chicken order, you're going to leave happy. The Sidekick: The Fries Unfortunately, every superhero needs a good sidekick, and this chicken is flying solo. The French fries are the definition of "bland." They lack crispiness, desperately need salt, and feel like a total afterthought. Pro-tip: drown them in hot sauce or ketchup which you need to provide yourself. The Value Where Kikiriki truly shines is the receipt. In a dining landscape where a basic combo meal can easily push past $20, Kikiriki keeps things refreshingly old-school. The prices are exceptionally good for the portion sizes you receive. You can get a massive plate of food that will easily feed you for two meals without breaking the bank. The Verdict Go for the chicken, stay for the low bill, but don't expect an authentic Peruvian feast. Kikiriki isn't going to win any authenticity awards, and their fry cook needs a lesson in seasoning. However, if you are looking for a cheap, filling, and genuinely delicious chicken dinner, it's well worth a visit. Just think of it more as a great neighborhood chicken joint rather than an international dining experience.

My first time at this location and the sticky wings were a hit for my family. The half rack of baby back ribs were soft and flavorful and the bacon, cheese and onion burger was also delicious. I also enjoyed my passion fruit frozen margarita. The flavor was not on the menu but our waitress recommended it. Will definitely be returning again!

I was expecting it to be busy on a Friday night, but I was pleasantly surprised. The space is pretty big, with a lot of lighting and no loud music. Our waiter was really nice. The restaurant is next to LA Fitness, and the parking deck is pretty close and convenient. I wanted to walk around after dinner, but this is not like an outside mall, so things aren't too close (and there's too much traffic). I ordered: - Crispy shrimp starter: very tasty, and a pretty big portion. It came with tartar sauce, but no cocktail sauce. - Tempura broccoli: this was surprisingly delicious. I love broccoli, so I don't know why it needs to be fried in general lol. But, the batter is not thick or overwhelming, and the broccoli is not raw or overcooked. It was pretty tasty (it doesn't come with any sauce, and you get a pretty big portion). - Super Smokehouse Combo: This was enough for too people (I shared with with my partner). My favorite was summer sausage, which was served over a piece of white bread. The pulled pork was tasty, and served over half of a bun. The brisket (my second favorite) was delicious and served over the other half of the bun. The ribs were saucy and fell off the bone. I should have ordered a small pina colada, but I got a medium - but no worries, I was able to get a to-go cup and take it with me! NOTE: I would have given this place 4 stars, but I was put off by the guy trying to sell us pictures. After we ordered, a random guy just came up to us wanting to take pictures without any context. Afterwards, he came to us with them printed out, but doesn't explain if they are free (obviously not) or how much he is charging. Next time I'll know to politely decline.
