We came on a weekday evening hoping the line wouldn't be too long. The line still went out the door and it was still about a 45 minute wait to get our food. On the upside about waiting in line is that you have time to think about what you want to order. There were no seats available inside and they also had some outdoor seating but we decided to take our food home. It stayed warm for the drive back which was nice to know our food wouldn't get soggy during the ride. I decided to get the Dave's #1 which is two chicken tenders with fries. A little on the pricy side since it doesn't even come with a drink. I also got it hot which was just enough spice for me. I enjoyed the chicken it was cooked just right and the fries were also good. The fries also had a little seasoning on them for some added flavor which I enjoyed. My meal also came with Dave's sauce, which was great for dipping fries or the chicken in it. It is like a creamy chipotle sweet sauce and paired perfectly with the food. I still wanted a variety of sides to try so I also got the mac & cheese and kale slaw. The extra sides are also about $4 each which are single servings. The mac was delicious and taste like something I've had before but could not point out what it tasted like, but it was creamy and full of flavor and would get it again. This is my first time here. I'm so glad we visited when it was not busy. Because I've been eyeing this place for a while, since they opened. And all the days I've passed by, the line is literally out the door, to the street. I've also heard stories of long wait times for food. Today was definitely not the case. Parking is abundant, it just depends on where you want to park. Because if you want to get up close to the restaurant, it's hit or miss. There was a small line when we got there. We decided we'd give it a try. Again, we waited a short time to get our order in. We opted for the 10 piece Dave's bites (in medium) which included fries. Also, I ordered Dave's #3 (in mild - I wasn't sure if I could handle the medium), which was 1 tender and 1 slider. That also included fries. These meals did not come with a drink, so drinks are an added cost. Our meals did not take too long to get to us. I think we waited a total of 15 minutes from order to receiving our food. They package the orders into containers ready to go. We opted to dine in since there was dining inside the restaurant, they do have outdoor seating. But we got to the restaurant when it was dark outside and they really did not have good lighting out there. I'm guessing other patrons love this place because the restaurant was getting busy after we sat and started eating. It was a bit too greasy for our taste buds. But at least we got a chance to try it. Service was good, wait time wasn't too long. But who's to say how it is during other times of the day. All the employees are extra friendly and extra helpful and went out of their way to see if you needed anything else.
