You order inside and wait for your food outside. Nice outdoor seating area. We had the açaí bowl and ordered it without cacao nibs and asked for fruit and honey on top instead. It was good but a little soupy. We also had the breakfast wrap which was really good especially with their hot sauce on top. Overall, fresh and tasty. Docking 1 Star for it being a little pricey and workers were snooty. read more

Cute place for tasty and healthy small bites, definitely not a "full" breakfast or lunch spot. Only downfall is that there's no seating indoors, so when it's really hot, it can be tough to eat there. There's bike parking right in front, though, and they always have ice cold water. read more

I completely fell in love with Help Your Self and it wasmost definitely my "spot" during my vacation. I feel GOOD eating here, everything on the menu is healthy and delicious (I particularly enjoy their version of a lasagna..its out of this world!) Additionally, They put emphasis on recyclying and being "green" and offer trash receptacles for different materials which I appreciate. They also offer a farmers market on certain days and while I have yet to purchase anything, the spinach lettuce looks realllllly good. My only complaint is that it often takes a while to get your food which is perfectly understandable since they prepare everything from stratch the moment you order it, but since the venue is small and unairconditioned and the seating area is outside in the hot key west sun...it's sometimes annoying. regardless, i heart help yourself, it's such a wonderful find. read more

Healthy and delicious! Love the smoothies and salad! Highly recommend this place if you are visiting!

Ok . When in key west I always stop here. I'm an organic healthy eater and they have excellent food. I had posted a review before saying they weren't friendly at the cash register but I've noticed a change in the last two trips. Everything here is good! And the little store is convenient and well stocked with nice healthy fun stuff. read more

Date & Thyme - The soup comes half full and it's all water. - Vegetarian Near Me - Key West, Florida

Stopped by here on our vacation in Key West Florida. My sister is vegetarian so this was a perfect place for her. I on the other hand am not a vegetarian. So, I ordered the chicken salad wrap. $14.65 for a wrap?! Holy guacamole. It was a normal size wrap and didn't come with a side. Just a little high priced but other than that all our food was good. read more

Food is over priced and has no flavor. Rude service too. Wouldn't recommend unless everything else is closed

There aren't many organic cafes (that I could find!)in Key West so I was very happy to find this one! My smoothie was wonderful (the Golden Dragon) and my husband - who is a big eater and usually does not appreciate a place like this - loved his Mexican breakfast bowl which was the special. The outside area was very welcoming and comfortable. read more

Amazing acai bowl and avacado toast. Great vegan options and specialty vegan foods in the food store. Awesome outdoor seating with overhang and plants. Definitely recommend stopping here for breakfast. read more

My smoothie was 5 stars, the service was 3 stars. My interactions with the older blonde woman up front was brief but impactful. She came off extremely unfriendly and left a bad taste in my mouth. My checkout interaction was weird and then she told me she'd call out when it was done. So we hung around, looked around the cute shop, stood around more until my boyfriend finally asked the other girls if we were in the right spot. They said oh for smoothies, they'll call you outside. We went outside and there was my smoothie, sitting waiting for me. Luckily it was still chilled and delicious but this woman saw us standing for quite a while and never offered to correct us. It seemed purposeful. I also observed her ignoring customers to finish a conversation, rolling her eyes at customers and just giving off bad energy. I'm writing this because I don't think it's fair for a business that has great product and works hard for their reputation, to suffer negative reviews because of an employee. Hopefully this is useful advice and can be dealt with. read more

I think I just found my favorite store and restaurant!!! They have a whole menu of good and yummy stuff, a lovely organic grocery store, and nice outside seating. Definitely recommend it to everyone who wants to grab a bite for breakfast or lunch near the touristy places. read more

After riding by on my ever faithful bicycle, 'Violet' (lavendar bike with streamers and an orange basket...:), a number of times while exploring our new home, Key West, my husband, and ever willing dining companion, and I, tried Help Your Self Organic foods. We initially stopped today because a friend reminded us that the fresh market was only there on Mondays...so...after the gym workout we headed over. I am amazed at the eclectic quality of life here on our Island....Here, on a sweet little corner, local performers were playing their guitars softly. Friendly (and yes, friendly...Im not sure what the last reviewer meant when she stated the staff was unfriendly..) staff, (I was warmly welcomed) and just a relaxed ambience. Im JUST tossing my hat into the ring as far as starting to change my diet from 'typical' yet somewhat healthy to EXTREMELY healthy for body AND soul. This was a good beginning...:) I did purchase some lovely organic leafy green veggies and we decided to stay for lunch. We both shared a hummus wrap that was out of this (cosmic) world delicious and have not been hungry ALL DAY since enjoying that meal. I also enjoyed a small bottle of what was labeled 'Daily Detox'. It is a combination of beet, carrot, and lemon juice. All organic and truly hit the spot for me...I think my husband would have preferred something a bit different, but being the perennial good sport, he shared it with a smile. Will I/we go back? A definite yes. Yes. Yes. read more

This review is for the coffee. The other food in this cafe may be good as per other reviewers. We chose this place because of the image on yelp that would suggest they know how to make a decent coffee. We paid $12 for a latte and a cappuccino - more than you would pay at the best cafe in any major city. That price is fine if the coffee is actually good, unfortunately we could have had better coffee at a gas station - that's how bad it was. They used pre-ground, stale coffee - any decent cafe grinds the beans fresh for each cup. The coffee was over extracted. The milk was burnt and poorly poured. If you're going to sell espresso based coffee, at least learn how to make it, and train your staff! read more

This place was fantastic! Such kind women greeted us and helped us decide on a breakfast choice. Staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Food was delicious. Best Hummus Wrap I've EVER had in my life! I would drive 4 hours again just to eat here.

I absolutely love this place. I stayed at Nyah next door and came here for breakfast & coffee everyday. Their breakfast bagel and avocado toast are amazing and fresh. I also had their green warrior smoothie and overnight oatmeal with fruit from the fridge. That was also super yummy and healthy. This place has really nice outdoor seating as well. Great spot, highly recommend. read more

I had avocado toast with one egg, over medium and iced coffee. It was great. The servers answered questions and made good suggestions.

Everything is delicious. They have free parking for customers. Lots of vegan and vegetarian options along with an organic store.

My niece is in town who is a complete vegetarian. She always does her grocery shopping at some sort of health food store. She was very impressed with the products, selection, staff and prices of this place. She even made me drink some drink made from cucumbers, carrots, beets, kale and a few other weird things I didn't recognize but it was actually quite good. read more

The only Ocean Friendly Restaurant certified by Surfrider in Key West. We found you on the Surfrider OFR app and were so excited to visit. The kitchen was closed (past 4pm) so I grabbed a pre-made Asian Tuna sandwich and shared it with my boyfriend on the patio. It was delicious. The store and the kitchen made us feel right at home with the selection of Organic, real food! Wow this place has so many delicious (and actually healthy) options. As a plant-based vegan, I was so thrilled to find this place. Everything was so fresh. We went here three times during our stay, and each smoothie, veggie bowl, sandwich and latte was perfect. They even have a little shop with lots of good drinks and snacks. I splurged on some sprouted pumpkin seed butter which I can't wait to dig into when I get home. read more

Horrible experience with staff I'm an African American and not once was I greeted until I was about to leave the store. Date & Thyme catered for my wedding. Brielle was very kind and helpful. The wraps we ordered were delicious. The hummus wraps are a must if you intend to visit here. They were demolished at the wedding! There is more to this place though than the wonderful food. They were willing to help us out of a bit of a problem we faced. The bakery where our cake was being made closed considerably earlier than the wedding was to take place. Date & Thyme stored our cake for several hours and kept it safe until it was time to pick up the food! They were also very kind to my groom when he came in to pick up the catering. Thank you so much guys! Their sunshine bagel breakfast is worth the drive! read more

Delicious food, yummy smoothies (although expensive for the size), very nice kitchen staff, and a good selection of healthy holistic options. What prevents me from choosing Date & Thyme is the cashiers. They have no situational awareness regarding getting paying customers in/out (and it is a tight squeeze if busy), but will small talk about jack sh*t instead of ringing up customers and moving the line. The food is very good from the kitchen though, but sometimes is not worth waiting for the cashier to wrap up their boring conversations with the person at the head of the line... Nice dining area outside, limited parking ride a bike or walk. read more
