From the first call to the final walkthrough, this crew was buttoned up. Carlos came out for the site visit and estimate. He walked the kitchen with me, listened to what we wanted, and gave me a clear, honest quote with no games or upsells. He knew his stuff and made recommendations that actually made the space look better than what I had originally sketched out. Danelle in the office handled all the scheduling and coordination and was a pleasure to deal with. Responsive, organized, and easy to reach when I had questions. In a world where a lot of contractors go dark on you between the estimate and the install date, she kept everything moving. Then Vince showed up to do the actual work and he was outstanding. Total pro. Clean, careful, meticulous with the wiring and placement, respectful of the cabinets and countertops, and the finished result looks fantastic. The lighting is even, warm, and exactly what we were going for. You can tell he takes real pride in his work. He walked me through everything when he was done and left the kitchen spotless. Now I understand why this company has five stars across the board. If you are on the fence, stop shopping and just call them. Ask for Vince if you can. He is the real deal. Thanks Carlos, Danelle, and Vince. Will absolutely be using you again for future projects.

Brian came to meet with us, look at the house and property layout, and suggest various options. Recognizing and appreciating the home's age and historical significance, he proceeded to provide recommendations that would avoid or minimize drilling into the concrete walls and hard wood floors as well as keep the wiring out of sight. The Simply Wired team was amazing! They first focused on troubleshooting the phone landline and ports and found various fixes that needed to be made including up on the roof at the entry point of the phone service line. Once all the phones were working, his team proceeded to crawl into spaces in the basement and attic to route wiring throughout the home, which was a difficult and dirty task on a hot day. They successfully installed a router and multiple access points and drops and made adjusts as needed based on signal strength and reliability. The Simply Wired team was professional, responsive, thorough, and clean throughout the entire job. We have worked with other contractors over the years in various fields where the service and quality were lacking, but working with Brian and Ramon was an absolute delight, and I highly recommend Simply Wired.

She's super honest as well and doesn't try to upsell. She also has great suggestions and has made our lives dramatically easier. Ferguson has so much to choose from, including hundreds, maybe thousands of items not on the floor, but in different colors, sizes and formats. Even their signature line is amazing - and so well priced. Plus most everything is under warranty and if an item gets damaged upon receipt or in transit, they'll stand behind it. I love that. We're still in the process of choosing everything, but I wanted to write this review now since we're heavily working with Tara and appreciate her input so much. He also replaced an old and dingy 2ft skylight in our hallway and what a difference it made! He's very professional, extremely knowledgeable, and very personable, like having your favorite uncle over to do some work. :) Peter is everything you want in a contractor. Honest, accurate with his estimate for price and time, hard working and cares about doing it right. We were involved in the whole process, talking through the exact placement and size options and he had very insightful recommendations. He tarped and taped everything off and cleaned up every night so we could use our kitchen each evening, which was really wonderful. He swept up so well you wouldn't even know there was work being done unless you looked at the plastic over the hole in the ceiling. He even did a little extra handyman work I requested (outside the scope of regular skylight work but he was very generously willing and his rate for the handyman service was very reasonable and SO worth it!) since access to the attic is difficult and having the ceiling open was the perfect opportunity to connect the range exhaust correctly to the roof vent (was never done properly by previous owner) which was a huge thing off my to do list! We highly recommend him! Now that our dark kitchen is so lovely and light, I'm already thinking of adding another in the south facing living room, which ought to be the brightest in the house, but the kitchen is outshining it! Thank you again Peter! We really appreciate you and LOVE our skylight!
