The front desk staff greeted me right away, helped me navigate the service options, and got me seated quickly. Before I knew it, the massage chair was on, and I was being asked which complimentary beverage I'd like--a nice touch that immediately elevated the experience. I wasn't in a particularly chatty mood that day, and I had the pleasure of being taken care of by Nail Tech Teresa. She was incredibly attentive and seemed to pick up on the fact that I just wanted to unwind, keeping conversation to a comfortable minimum. I've explained multiple times that I'm clumsy and have an infant, so length really matters for me. It's frustrating to feel like that request is consistently ignored. This last visit, though, really took the cake. I explained that my big toenails tend to grow outward and specifically asked for them to be clipped and filed a certain way. As you can see in the photo, that didn't happen at all. Even my husband noticed immediately and was shocked at how it turned out. I also asked for extra attention on my feet because they were sore and needed it, but there was barely any focus there. Instead, most of the time was spent on my calves, which wasn't what I asked for. For the amount we spent--close to $300--this was extremely disappointing. While my nails were soaking, the technician spent much of the time scrolling on her phone, repeatedly switching between using her phone and handling my hands. It didn't feel professional or sanitary. When it was time to remove the dip, she was very rough and ended up cutting me twice while filing off the remaining product. Afterward, she had me wash my hands. When I returned to the station, she had already moved on to another client. I was confused because I had specifically requested a manicure, and I expected the service to include basic nail care like trimming or filing my nails and cleaning up my cuticles. Instead, the service seemed to end after the dip removal. At that point, I chose not to say anything because, after being cut twice, I no longer felt comfortable having her continue working on my nails. I simply left and went somewhere else to have them finished. I understand that everyone has off days, but this experience fell well below my expectations and was disappointing enough that I won't be returning.
