Their pricing was more competitive than other schools offering a manicurist license, which made the decision even more practical without compromising quality. Ms. Carrie was a standout instructor her ability to break down the material and streamline the learning process made preparing for the state board feel structured, clear, and highly achievable! That level of guidance is invaluable. She is a great teacher! Mr.Lai is always kind, professional, and encouraging. He is always very considerate, and cares for every student! The environment itself is welcoming yet professional, creating a space that encourages growth while maintaining high standards. One of the standout aspects of this program is their flexibility. They were able to accommodate my schedule, making it possible to stay consistent despite having a busy lifestyle. They also brought in the creator of Sofgel to give a live demo, along with offering discounted products, which added a lot of value and real industry insight to the program. I left the program not only licensed, but confident in my skills and foundation. I would strongly recommend this school. Although it's a Chinese-based school, the program is fully accessible in English -200- hour online portion. Don't let that discourage you it's *very* manageable and accommodating for English-speaking students!

My experience with Facing Beauty Studios was alright. I had my makeup done for my engagement photos…read moreand my wedding. For the engagement photos, I felt like Karla was really engaged and made an effort to make me happy. I don't know if my wedding day was a bad day for her, but it felt a little rushed and off. My makeup was great for the wedding. It lasted all night, and it looked really subtle and natural. My only complaint would be the lip products she used. It was glossy and looked patchy when applied. I had to wipe it off and use my own lipstick. Also, my hairstyle didn't even last an hour after being done. I had to have my bridesmaids completely curl my hair again, which was stressful because it was time consuming. For the price charged, I felt like the hairstyle should've lasted longer than it did. I felt that whenever I showed Karla my hair inspirations on Pinterest, she more often than not told me how it wouldn't work on me, rather than try to help me achieve the hairstyle I wanted. It was a bit demotivating. Overall, I did like my makeup, but I had to make tweaks to really be happy. My hair had to be completely redone. I'm not sure I would be able to recommend this studio to others.

I came to get a gel mani and gel pedi, although I definitely felt welcomed and happily taken care…read moreof, there was an element of stress in the students and maybe lack of practice/confidence/guidance? The person servicing my feet used the drill bit so long that she really thinned out my nails & caused injury & intolerable pain, I almost asked her to leave those toes blank. But I also didn't want to leave with an incomplete service or take away her learning opportunity. It was extremely hard to communicate with them because of the language barrier, it was helpful when the teachers would come over & guide & also be a translator when these issues arose. The vibe overall was fine, the seating where we were guided was pretty uncomfortable set up wise, I felt like I was bending like a pretzel and was very unstable. My manicure came with my gel stuck to my fingers and lots of cuts, bubbles in my nails, and even hair. The sanitization wasn't the best either, tools were continually dropped and continued to be used. I also noticed dirty gloves on clean surfaces. I'd come back to try other things but I'm a bit unsettled by my nails experience. I also came aware that I would be getting services by students, so I completely understand the learning curves. I think the teachers could've stepped in more and supported, guided, corrected, and maybe even shown or done the procedure partially to give more guidance.

Bầu không khí tiêu cực do một số nhân viên tạo ra đã làm lu mờ những gì lẽ ra phải là một trải nghiệm học tập tích cực. My experience with Top Line Beauty College was extremely disappointing, largely because of one staff member, Kim. She often acts as though she runs the entire school and creates an uncomfortable environment for students. Over the years, I have heard similar concerns from numerous coworkers, classmates, and colleagues who felt they were treated unfairly or disrespectfully. Students come to beauty school to learn, grow, and build confidence in a supportive environment. Instead, many feel intimidated and afraid to speak up. A learning environment should encourage students, not make them feel fearful or anxious. Based on my experience and the experiences shared by others, I would not recommend this school. The negative atmosphere created by certain staff members overshadows what should be a positive educational experience.

My sister-in-law recently introduced my daughter and me to this beauty school, and we were both pleasantly surprised. It's a simple, clean space where student technicians provide haircuts, facials, manicures, pedicures, and other beauty services under the guidance of their instructors. The best part is that you receive great service at very reasonable prices while helping students gain hands-on experience. My sister-in-law has been coming here for her manicures and pedicures for quite some time and has always been happy with the results. During our visit, I chose a simple beige jelly manicure. The appointment was quick, and three weeks later my nails are still going strong with no signs of peeling or lifting, even though I'm typing on a keyboard all day. My daughter picked an adorable design featuring stars and the soot sprites from the movie Spirited Away, and she absolutely loved how they turned out. She was even wearing gloves in the middle of July just to protect her nails! Everyone we met was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience enjoyable from start to finish. There is also plenty of onsite and street parking, which makes visiting even more convenient. This is a fantastic way to enjoy quality mani/pedi at a great price while supporting future professionals.
