David is the best, very knowledgeable and to the point. He was able to stop by right away and take care of the problems we were having with lights not turning on, voltage, and a couple of tripped breakers. Extremely happy with his expertise and service. Wind knocked down a tree branch that destroyed our main electrical panel and did some other conduit damage. David at Dash was very responsive. Replaced the entire panel and coordinated with the city to get the electricity turned back on the same day!!! Thanks. read more

I agree with the other reviews. Their technicians are terrific. Polite, professional and patient. The problem was our pool pump, so it was urgent. I contact them in the evening, and they came out first thing the next morning. They found the problem in about 15 minutes. The tech explained the problem clearly and demonstrated what had to be done to fix it. There was some confusion about the price of the diagnostics, but Dave, the owner, was very patient and flexible and handled the situation to my complete satisfaction. read more

We had a breaker in the kitchen (refrigerator, microwave, and overhead ceiling fan line) tripping the day before Thanksgiving . We called DASH and Joseph was here an hour later. He was very professional, efficient, and extremely thorough. He checked out the breaker box, and quickly diagnosed the problem, and told us EXACTLY what needed to be done and EXACTLY how much it would cost. He also removed faceplates and looked at wires on every outlet on that line, made some adjustments, and replaced one outlet. Then, he cleaned the breaker box, just because he thought it needed it! Before he left, he walked us through everything he did, and re-tested every outlet. STELLAR SERVICE! I highly recommend DASH, and will let my friends know what a great job they do! read more

Very quick response to my request for installing a 240V outlet for charging an electric vehicle (another outfit I called wouldn't even send someone out for an estimate for over a week). They went out of the way to verify that the Level 2 charger I picked would work for my vehicles, did the estimate and install on the spot, and were willing to do an extra job hard-wiring our Ring doorbell while they were here. Quick, knowledgeable, good price, and they cleaned up when they were done. Liked it so much I decided to have them install some hardwired Ring security cameras. They were able to come out the same day and again did a great and fast job at a great price. Highly recommended. read more

Had a service call today, David came out and he was extremely helpful courteous and prompt. I had an issue with my light fixture. After youtube, resetting the breaker, changing the bulb, and checking the wiring for the house I called in a ticket. David tested the unit and quickly determined that nothing was wrong with the house or wiring just that the fixture was busted and overloaded (I don't know why I didn't think of that). Anyway, he went ahead and charged me the minimum and agreed to comeback out and install a new one, and charge me for the parts for the dimmer (I didn't have a dimmer previously). All I had to do was buy the new fixture. Definitely a great experience and will call again for new work. I love supporting local businesses and startups, Dash Electric is a keeper. read more

I'm happy with David's work. I had a laundry list of items and he was able knock it out in half an afternoon. With a helper they were able to replace 3 ceiling fans, add a new ceiling fan and wiring to an exisiting wall plate so that one switch controls the light and another controls the fan, added 2 can lights with switch to the same wall panel, added an electrical outlet to my kitchen island, replaced a lighting fixture in my laundry room, and replaced a faulty gfi outlet. Minimal holes were made to add the wiring for both the can lights and the new fan. Patching was done through another individual that was recommended by David. Since my wife was inmune compromised I was happy to see them come prepared with mask and shoe booties. If I have more ekectrical work I can't handle I will be calling David. read more

I called Dash around 7pm and to my surprise the Owner, David U "Aka, Superman" which he said to me after confirming "there's no job too difficult to solve" directly answered. He was nice and unlike many others I had been calling throughout the entire day, ready and willing to help. I texted him photos of my hanging wires and ceiling fan that had dropped to the floor possibly due to being unbalanced for 2 years as well as a mounting plate that was too small for it I am now aware of. He texted me right back and said "ok, let me see what I can do for you". David had initially asked me if I wanted the work done the same day as the estimate; upon agreeing, we set an appointment for the following day. That easy, I was impressed because that rarely happens. I did not hear from him again the next day therefore, I assumed he'd forgotten. I decided to wait til near my appointment time, giving him the benefit of the doubt. Sure thing, he did not forget at all and gave my work order to Jay whom I received a call 2 hours before my scheduled appt confirming via voicemail and text that he'd be on his way. He arrived highly prepared and equipped to get the job done on the same day as promised. Jay is very courteous, knowledgeable, honest and such a friendly guy overall. He diagnosed the problem, first checking the electrical wires & circuits to make sure I'd be safe in general and had my ceiling fan back up and running in an hour. Jay definitely turned out to be a Super Hero in regard to my bad situation which I was directly told by some other highly rated contractors that I need to purchase a new fan on top of their higher service and repair fees! I know whom I'm gonna call for my electrical needs. And, their prices were affordable and the best in comparison to the others I had spoken to. Thank you Dash Electric read more

Guys came out to do some work in my garage. Very professional and knowledgeable. Found the easiest, safest and least expensive way to get it done for me. The work needed a certain cover plate to complete the job and was going to need to run to the Home Depot to get it. I told the gentleman I was running there later that day and I would pick it up if he would take some of the agreed-upon price off the total. He agreed on a new price for the work. As he was finished he just didn't feel right leaving the work incomplete and told me he was going to go to the Home Depot to be sure the job was done right. Then still honored the lower agreed upon price. Any future electrical work I have done to my home I will be using Dash Electric......thanks guys!! read more
