He came to my condo to fix my dripping shower head. The pros, came out same day, friendly , took off his work boots, had the part my shower needed. The cons, 2 hours to replace a shower cartridge. He had the cartridge out of the shower in 5 minutes. So almost 2 hours to put a new one in. For parts and labor, $350. read more

Washing machine backed up into kitchen sink and drain spilled over the drain pipe over the weekend. Called Dascor Monday morning and they promised service by noon. Serviceman Connor Anderson called ten minutes ahead and arrived at 10:30AM. Super personable, polite, efficient and respectful of my home. He cleared the main line from the roof and augered the washing machine drain line as well completely resolving the problem. Cleaned up and completed the job in just under an hour! Our experience working with Johnny was marvelous! We called the main office and were promptly scheduled to have him stop by for an estimate. He returned once more a few days prior to our scheduled appointment to make a final list of materials and to confirm the work. On the day of, he was at our place early. Had a new plumber come by for 100 dollars to work on the same problem - actually REMOVED THE DRAIN , versus saying "this drain is unremoveable" , brought in a shop - vac to remove debris from said drain that Dascor said was "unremoveable" and did it all under a hour and for a firm price. Recently we had to face replacing the cast iron drains under our house. There was a bit of confusion and back and forth about the job and payment, however, and the secretary was very rude and unprofessional in dealing with the matter over the phone. When 3 plumbers arrived in two trucks and tried to tell me it would be $225, I declined their services. Dascor came to unplug our plumbing. First or second plug-up in the 20 years we have lived here. They went down a vent pipe on the roof, somewhat downstream in our plumbing system and got the sewer pipe flowing again. Charged us $295! My bad for not getting a quote first! (Home Depot rents a 50' electric snake for $40 per half day) Then after one month of use it plugged again, further upstream. They indicated they would be happy to come out and do it again for another $295! I recommend hiring a plumbing company that does it right the first time and stands behind their work. Or save $250 and rent a snake. read more

I had an emergency plumbing problem on 3/10/17 and called and spoke to Shana on the phone. Shana was wonderful and got in touch with Felix immediately. He then called me and within an hour of my call to your company, Felix was at my house and fixed my problem. Within a few minutes after he left, another problem "sprung up". I called Shana and she got in touch with Felix and within 10 minutes he was back at my house and fixed the additional problem. These guys are the standard to which all contractors should hold themselves. They are knowledgeable, courteous, punctual and communicative. We had to replace all of the 47 year old cast iron pipes under our house which involved tunneling, draining, drilling... Quite a project. Dascor explained the process very thoroughly, and took the time to listen and address all of my concerns. Additionally, they effectively scheduled, started and finished when they said they would. Lastly, they thoroughly cleaned up the yard, driveway and pavers that were disturbed during the work. This is the best experience I've ever had with contractors. My water heater broke the Sunday before Labor Day. I called Dascor plumbing on Labor Day in hopes of having my water heater replaced the next day. A technician called me back right away. I emailed him pictures of my old heater and he was able to tell me exactly what it would cost to put in a new one, without having to make a service call first. The next day Wade the plumber came to my house with the new tank. He was excited to put in this "new" model which he didn't have a chance to work on before. When he finished the job. he took away the old heater and left my home spotless. It was a great experience. read more
