We were the only ones in the restaurant bedides a bar tender and hostess. The grill was immediately turned on but they asked us to wait 10 minutes to see if anyone else would arrive. We agreed, placed our order and received our salad. The restaurant was bright, open and clean. This is our first visit. The ginger dressing was very mild, heavy on the Mayo and thin. Yet still very good. Our chef arrived a few minutes later and my husband's fried rice was the first item prepared. We both agreed it was excellent. Our chef's mastery if the twirling utensils was fun to watch! The salmon was heavily seasoned but delicious and still pink inside; just how I like it! Hubby's shrimp was lightly seasoned and delicious. Food was spot on, service was great and we were happy. Negatives: Egg yolk sauce rasted more like a fried egg not the artery clogging butter and egg yolk rich yumminess we were expecting. Sticky floors: As I was leaving the table, I noticed my shoes were really stinking to the floors. I stopped in the restroom and the stickiness was much worse. I noticed that the walls are stained black for the first 3 inches off the floor telling me they have been mopped using dirty water over and over again. The person mopping slops that dirty water against the edge of the floor/wall. That stain also appeared in the front entry. Other than the floor, the bathroom was fairly clean. We would return next time we travel to this side of town.

Warm welcome we decided to sit at the bar and order drinks before the rest of our group arrived. We then were seated and the show began! I'm deaf and the chef was wearing a mask so they would be zero speech reading (lip reading) not that I'm any good at it. The food was outstanding! Highly recommend this place! And for 4 people it was only $125 that includes 3 alcoholic drinks. I had the veggie dinner, they had the shrimp, the steak and just fried rice and salad. The seaweed salad was really worth trying. I would definitely be coming back. Thanks for a a wonderful experience.

Cleanliness (5/5) - The restaurant and restrooms are very clean. Service (5/5) - Drinks full and plates cleared. Food (4/5) - Quality food for a buffet, only loses a star because it is not very big. That said, plenty of good, fresh food to eat and well organized. Hibachi costs $17 alone these days and I get appetizers + sushi + dessert? We'll be back.

Our food took a little longer to come out, but the waiter apologized and kept checking in, which I appreciated. I enjoyed the meal and felt good about the overall quality. Where I hesitated was the value. For the prices they charge, I expected portions that felt a little more generous. I know a few sushi spots that offer the same level of freshness for less, so it's hard not to compare. The food is great, but the price point didn't fully match what came out on the plate. Still a solid spot if you're focused on quality and freshness.

Kiss of fire on the Salmon was the perfect complement of smoke/char adding to the proper "cook" of the nigiri. The miso vinaigrette and micro greens are a nice touch. Soy was not needed. Half Heart of Romaine and Mesclun Salad- Smack you in the tastebuds bright vinaigrette, carrots and sesame, pickled veggies, greens!! Full of bright wake you up flavors! Ta Tan Men- Rich ramen broth, pork meatballs were a little soft for my liking. The pork was just the right tenderness and offered a slight pull as you tear it into bite size pieces. The flavor of the pork was standalone and delicious in a bite by itself but added lift to a twist of noodle. Noodle cook was ideal just the right texture. The broth was full bodied (steeped all day flavor) and took about 3/4 of the spice bomb to hit the right spot for me. I did add a hearty shake of the S&B Ramen Pepper provided on the table (nice added touch).
