I wouldn't recommend it for anyone over the age of 12. The guns aren't broken as others have noted-- instead, the ammo is so utterly bent out of shape that it doesn't stay loaded in the gun. I used a triad and would stand there for 30 seconds at a time trying darts in my gun to find 3 that didn't pop out half way due to damage. Not to mention the refs did absolutely nothing about a few kids that mysteriously were never "out", regardless of the amount of times they were confirmed shot. Not worth it for the price for teens or adults. read more

We took about 70 children here for a field trip this summer and had nothing but good things to say! Staff were kind, considerate and accommodating in every way. Highly recommend this establishment! read more

Excellent place to visit, period. Definitely worth dropping by if you are in the area, and have a few hours to kill. Great selection of blaster rentals and many different food/drink options to choose from if you get hungry/thirsty. They also have a pretty decent size arcade. Staff was very friendly and covid-safe as well. Do drop by some time, you won't regret it. read more

We just celebrated my sons 6th birthday here!!! It was amazing!!! All the staff was super great and very helpful. We had the pleasure of hanging out with Richard, who is also the owner, as our party captain. You can tell this is his passion. Even the other parents talked about how smooth all the transitions were and how great he was with the kids. The birthday party package covers Everything!!! Pizza, drinks, decorations, candles, goodie bag, even arcade tokens. You pretty much show up with a cake and they take care of the rest. The building itself was very clean, sanitizer stations everywhere. The bathrooms were clean and there is even a bar with a wide arrange of adult beverages. Thank you Richard and staff for such an amazing experience!!! read more

What an amazing experience!! They have a safe way to celebrate birthdays/events outside. My son and his friend turned 8...dart em up came to the park of our choice, set up and ran everything...it was seamless and fun! The kids were raving about it! So amazing that our boys could have a fun and safe birthday despite COVID! read more

Good concept, was fun for the first and last ten minutes but spent 30 minutes there with just the two of us on a Saturday at 2pm. For $40, not really worth it... read more

Fantastic place for a birthday party! Employees are kind and energetic, and all our guests had a great time. Daisy was a great host! Dart'em Up - My crew having a blast at Dart Em Up! - Arcades Near Me - Austin, Texas

This is our first time coming to Dart Em' Up, and I was beyond impressed. The owner went around to introduce himself and asked if anyone needed anything. The facility is friendly, clean, and organized. We will be back again! read more

My 5 year old started coming here with a camp this past summer and he's definitely on the younger/smaller end of the kids who come here. Regardless, he loves this place. We came on a regular Saturday with another friend, who's also 5, and the owner/manager totally saved the day when he saw tears happening because of the generally intimidating environment the older kids' room created (plussome kids are just a-holes). He moved them over into the room where a birthday party was happening, where the kids were less aggressive and closer to their age, and they had a ball. He even let them play by themselves in between parties. read more

We came here for a company event. What a great idea! All my coworkers had a blast, really brought out the inner kids in us. The owner is a very nice guy. If you're looking for a place for your kiddos, coworkers, anyone really you must give this place a try. read more

This place help me throw a stress free party. Parents and kids of all ages were able to participate and hang out. Owner was on site greeting people and running operations. It's a genius idea. Most definitely will be back. And check this out! There's a...(drumroll) BAR! Yes folks! You heard me right. A bar. It's not much selection buts a nice touch for the adults. I will be back! read more

Fun place! Take your boys or girls and get in on the action! Lots of different game play ideas and the owners are super nice. You can even bring your own Nerf guns and use their darts... to make it a bit cheaper... But it is very affordable and lots of fun. Highly recommended! read more

My son had a wonderful birthday party on President's Day; it was not too crowded at 11.30am and our host, Riley, was fab!! They took care of everything including food, drinks, gift bag, nerf and darts! Would definitely recommend. I can imagine this place getting crowded and that may impact he experience, but we had a blast! read more

This place is pretty good. They only have two arenas and one is for balls the other for darts so if you want a party you have to do it with tons of their kids. They let you pick your teams by then after every round they pick some kids to switch because birthday parties are coming in and out. The games are ok but they don't explain them very well and the mic audio is awful. The head of the arena is in this platform up high just yelling at people. The refs do nothing but stand there and they let the other teams just stay I. The whole time but when I didn't even get hit they made me out. I shot a kid 8 times and he still wouldn't leave. Also every single one of the cheap or free guns are broken and cheap. If you want one that works you have to pay an additional six plus dollars extra to the entry fee which is super cheap actually read more

Excellent Birthday Party experience. Kiddo has been a guest at 4 birthday parties this fall. It is clean, well organized and staffed by a team that keeps things moving and fun Mom loves: - cleanliness - Organized - Fun and attentive staff - host parents keep raving about how easy it was to put together - Plentiful time in the range, our 8 year old plays the full time .. - The floor staff do a nice job organizing capture the flag and competitions with the next party coming in, the teams are balanced. and both teams appear well matched (not sure how they do it, but it turned out that way with every party so far) Tips: First time there? Plan a few minutes to sign the legal waiver Socks - kids remove their shoes.. socks are a must (They have them for sale.. but nice to just slip off the shoes and go) Bring your own? kinda. There are some nerf shooters kids can bring from home, check with them first And it is a local biz, with management onsite. They are totally on top of things and making sure everyone is having a good time. read more

We brought 10 kids to play today and this place never disappoints. The manager was super accommodating and extremely polite. Kids had a blast. They have renovated and added more games and prizes. We will return again. read more

The front staff today was not friendly or accommodating. Usually they are, maybe they are new but it was not a fun experience. Even my kids noticed. Didn't even want my kids to sit at the table when we first walked in even though we had to wait 45 mins for them to start playing. Very disappointed. For a kids place, the employees could stand to be a little friendlier and patient. Will not go back. read more

My kiddos love it here!!! Awesome idea and owner! Have visited several times now and always have a good time

We've been here on our own and for a few birthdays, including our son's. Always a lot of fun! Great way to get your kids' energy out while having a wonderful time right along with them! You heard that right: it's just as fun for adults as it is for kids! Locally owned and operated. The owner is a joy to know and a welcome addition to our neighborhood. read more

We had my son's 8th birthday party here! It was the best party...from a parents stand point as well as kids. The staff was attentive and helpful. They had several staff members working and I felt like it was very well managed. The facility was clean and spacious. I never felt like we were crammed into the rooms or in the way. The owner and manager were very nice as well. We spoke to both multiple times and they genuinely cared that we were happy with the facility and staff. I will definitely return for the individual play this summer! read more

Although it was a little pricey, the service that the staff including owner provided was exceptional. The only thing is they order from next door so you have to preorder your pizza and decide how much you want ahead of time. I wish they would allow outside food. It would make it easier on parents. read more

I've had the opportunity to visit Dart'em Up on several occasions with my children and neighbors. For a place that has only been open a few months, they do a great job! My son chose Dart em Up to celebrate his 10th birthday. We had a group of 12 kiddos. The team leader and referees were great interacting with the kids, and making sure everyone was safe and following the rules. We met the owner and he was very friendly and even ran in and played with the kids and wished my son a Happy Birthday. They supplied everything we needed including gift bags we only had to bring the cake. Everything is run in an efficient and customer friendly manner. Great spot, worth the money for a special birthday party. Also, my son received a thank you note from his team captain and they sent him a nerf gun as a thank you gift. This is such a thoughtful gesture and will not be forgotten. read more

I took my two boys (6 & 8) here during our visit to Austin. The place is very cool! My boys loved the dart gun selection. There are plenty of places for parents to sit. Clean restrooms. At some point, my youngest got shot and wanted to leave. The owner spotted him and lowered himself to my sons level so they could talk. He helped my son calm down and put a bandanna around my son's neck to help cover his neck! I couldn't believe how caring he was! Later, my oldest got upset, and one of the referees came out and talked to him. He showed him the arcade and my son instantly forgot he was upset. It made a huge difference. The staff here went above and beyond! We had a wonderful experience. Can't wait to come back. read more

What a great place to have a birthday Party!!! Ryan was our party attendent and he took great care of my son during the play time letting him change guns and providing him full clips of bullets. He also let me enter the arena to take pictures. After the kids came into the room he took care of everything, I was able to just sit and enjoy the kids and guests. All I did was bring a cake and the kids. Then my son won a star wars nerf gun from a raffle. They also gave him a dartem up hat as a gift from them. read more

WORST! PLACE! EVER! My husband and i took our kids here to have a glow in the dark nerf battle; The "refs" are unfair, the guns dont work, and when you tag someone they run and cry to the "refs". The "teams" arent even numbered nor do they even out the teams when your time is up. I WILL be demanding a refund. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE! If i could give it ZERO STARS i would. read more

This place is a hidden gem. The great thing with Nerf guns is that even young kids can use them safely. We recently hosted a birthday party here and it was a great experience. Their support staff is amazing. They are always there and still non-intrusive. The owner was around and suggested that we go inside and click pictures. For this he brought a set of glasses for us to wear. The arcade area is reasonable but they give you enough coins to play for a long time. They take care of almost everything. Wonderful experience, thanks folks. read more
