Still fun! We came out on Saturday afternoon and was able to reserve a spot the night before. I'm…read moreglad they had a play slot open in the afternoon which is perfect for us. Clean, fun and since they have a reservation system it didn't feel uncomfortable or crazy crowded for the kiddos to run around. The tortoise is too cute. Fun thing to do with the littles that is indoor.

The moms were oversharing their personal lives so I assume they knew each other. Bc of this the children were basically unsupervised. They didn't like to share and got possessive of toys, specifically in this case, the cars. Their older unsupervised children continuously tried to hurt my son by stepping on him and also by throwing stuffed animals at my face while I was sitting and watching my son. I understand that kids are kids & sharing and learning boundaries are part of growing up. However, there is a difference between normal childhood behavior and repeatedly putting another child in an uncomfortable or potentially unsafe situation. Parents need to be aware of what their children are doing, especially in a space designed for young kids. Will definitely 100% never be going back alone or anytime soon. This experience was uncomfortable and left me feeling frustrated Don't recommence going alone if you have a small toddler.

While planning a bridal tea for a dear friend and quickly discovered the options for affordable…read morevenues is very limited. After a lot of searching, I found The Kitchen House. I live in Cedar Park so it was close to my house. There is the perfect amount of space and the space was ideal for setting up the food and having places for everyone to talk and eat. I hired a catering company to provide the tea service; they provided almost everything needed for an amazing tea but we were able to use some of the Kitchen House's dishes and supplies to fill in the few items we needed. The space was generous in size; parking was free and there was plenty of parking. The space is light and airy; the bathroom is spotlessly clean. My guests and the catering staff were raving about how great the venue was. The rental process was very easy and the rates very reasonable. I would be very happy to rent this space in the future for other events.

They really enjoyed it, came home each day with big smiles and a lot of enthusiasm. My daughter saved the food she prepared to bring me a little light lunch (which was actually quite delicious) and my son devoured all of his. The main advantage of the class vs. training them myself is that KH is a dedicated teaching kitchen. They are equipped and staffed to show kids how to prepare many dishes over the course of a week, whereas I have the time, energy and ingredients to maybe teach them one thing. I'm glad we signed up for this and will be back next Summer for another class or two.

They facilitate the games and the kids have fun. She even lit the birthday candles and served pizza. They enjoyed the arcade and prizes. We really did nothing which is every parents preference lol. We showed up on a Saturday night and I was expecting it to be a lot busier. I assumed it would be crawling with rugrats and ankle biters but my friend and I were it. They had a Saturday night special where it was unlimited play with any type of blaster. There was about 1.5-2 hours left before they closed up and figured we could play a lot of games. Since it was the two of us it was mano y mano while we had a gamesmaster/ref/time keeper there. The space is littered with Darts and with the variety of blasters available you need to be cognizant of what 'caliber' you're using. A family ended of four ended up coming in so despite being outnumbered 2-1 we beat them due to superior tactics, coordinated teamwork and the fact that two of the them hadn't hit puberty yet. Hey, a win's a win!

They have an abundance of soft foam play mats and blocks to keep kiddos entertained and safe. There's a sensory room that has lights and mag tiles and a few items to let littles explore textures and figure out play pieces. The space is great for your small kiddos and they do a parents night out every Friday or Saturday which is wonderful for parents looking for some adult time for dinner or quiet time. I will say the space is intimate so I don't know how packed it gets but we came on a Friday night and it was very empty to let our little play in COVID times. Everyone wears a mask and they have cute hand washing stations! There is even a kitchen where you can brew coffee, tea or have complimentary bottled water. Perfect space for fun and littles to play safely inside! We enjoy visiting and look forward future trips!
