Banquet for daughter's basketball team. Staff was receptive and friendly. Owner hosted banquet which was fun. A small venue but as the name suggests, we didn't go for the games, we went for the darts!!! Obstacle course paint ball style darts!! Epic!! We reserved the venue and had a great time.

This is a new experience for us. Usually it's laser tag. But I have to say everyone at Dart'em Up cares about kids (and me) having fun. There are two levels of intensity and it's just good fun. A great indoor activity with Nerf toys, my kids blow off steam and run around having the best time. I have had staff go above and beyond with service multiple times. Highly recommend!

The BEST birthday party experience. Everything went so smoothly, from communication before to all the organization during the party. The whole place is clean and HUGE! We had plenty of room for our large party. The staff were so sweet and helpful, and they managed to keep a whole party of excited 6-7 year olds on schedule, which was impressive to say the least :) Everyone had a blast. We will definitely party here again.

The nerf dudes.

Consistently a wow experience. I've been bringing my boys for years now and I can't think of time the owner hasn't stopped by and shook my hand and truly showed interest in our family. This is one of those places that you just don't see everyday. A small business that brings fun and entertainment to the whole fam. We always feel safe, and worn out when we leave!

One of the advantages of being a parent is finding out about all these cool places that you never knew existed -- places that never existed when you were a kid. One such place is Dart 'Em Up, a Nerf gun battle arena. Think: Laser tag but with nerf guns. We brought our family of four here, including our two grade school age kids, on a Tuesday (which is BOGO day). This brought our total to a reasonable $30 for about an hour's worth of fun. I was excited to see The Armory where we could each pick out a weapon, and our kids decided they were going to join forces and team up against me and my husband, so we donned our green and orange vests while engaging in a little light trash talking. The format involved an MC/deejay inside one of two large arenas, instructing the teams on which games we were playing, the rules of engagement, etc. We played capture the flag, last man standing, humans vs. zombies, and even a rousing "pick up the darts" game (a fellow parent remarked that they were stealing a beloved parenting technique encouraging us to pick up a bunch of darts before the timer ran out). My only criticism is kind of a big one: if you end up with a crappy blaster, your experience is going to be pretty miserable. Ask the person at the Armory for their recommendation and GO WITH THAT. My kids didn't listen (of course!) and instead chose based on the coolest looking blaster and it didn't work out too well for them. Some of the reviews mention that you can bring your own Nerf gun, so we may try that after the holidays. As a parent, I'm looking forward to checking out the waiting area with what appears to be a nicely stocked selection of beer and wine next time.

At Dart'em Up -- If your child is over 5 and loves nerf guns, check out Dart'em Up in Cedar Park. Found out about it this weekend and my son and I went today and had a blast and great way for the kids to let loose. Even get in on it if you want. They have a bar, TVs and arcade.

Dart'em Up is a great place for kids to have birthday parties and it is quite popular with one birthday after another. The kids had a great time with the Nerf battle and the arcade games.

This place doesn't skimp out! They give you 25 min but we were going through everything pretty quickly! They also had some file cabinets and old PC's for you to continue to smash through. The staff was very friendly, they automatically give you a speaker to connect your music to. Definitely recommend checking them out. Note: it does get warm in the room so dress appropriately since you will be given a jumpsuit. Also make sure you're wearing closed toe shoes. The guys in the front desk were very friendly, they let us connect to their speaker through Bluetooth and I played some hard rock music that I found fitting for the occasion. I added 2 TVs to smash, those are very hard to break since they only have metal bars and not sledgehammers as other rage rooms, I'd avoid purchasing them as extra next time. The guys were nice and gave me an extra computer monitor to break, it was fun! They also have 1 fridge and a broken washer that you can smash. Very therapeutic!

From the outside, it looks a little like a library, creating a quiet, bookish impression before you even step inside. But if you know, you know! Press on a bookshelf, and voilà--a hidden door swings open. The reveal feels playful and unexpected, making the entrance itself part of the experience. How fun is that? Such a cool way to enter a bar! Inside, it's a small space with charming decor and a relaxed, intimate vibe. Everything feels thoughtfully put together, and the hidden-door concept adds to the sense that you've stepped somewhere a little different. They also have TVs playing old Western movies, which I loved! It was such a fun detail and gave the atmosphere even more character. The music helped set the mood without taking away from the experience, making it easy to settle in and enjoy the evening. The cocktails were really well made, with polished presentation and carefully considered flavors. They did take a little while to arrive, but you could tell some care went into making them. Just be prepared for the prices. Cocktails are around $15 and up, but well worth it. The Halloween decorations added another layer of fun, giving the space a festive, slightly mysterious atmosphere that suited the hidden entrance perfectly. Between the playful setting, old Western movies, music, and drinks, we enjoyed ourselves so much that we stayed until closing! I loved everything about this bar! It's a great spot for a unique experience, good cocktails, and a fun night out. I'm so glad we finally checked it out!

I've been DYING to go back ever sense. I don't think I can even explain to you how addictive and all consuming the joy of playing these games are. Bonus, it's for sure a work out. If I lived closer I would would be at this joint two or three times a week, and in the best shape of my life. The games are all fast paced and high energy, but does it feel like a workout? Not at all, until you realize when you are so SHWEATY. It's like burst sprints mixed with body weights and maybe some yoga? I just know that I loved it in a way that I haven't loved physical activity since I was in my teens. The staff was all super friendly too. The perfect kind of friendly as well. Polite, informative, but not all fake high energy/chatty like your at a kids camp. It was nothing but good vibes. It was fairly busy when we went, which means we had to cycle through rooms pretty fast, but there are so many rooms! You can always go back for your favorites again later, and some of the ones that "looked" boring were actually the most fun for me. I was practically BEGGING them to give me a membership, but they don't do those... Yet? There was some discussion of some locations offering memberships as a trial run, and that it might become a thing nationwide. *fingers crossed* GO!

Loved the variety of room, didn't love the wait time that counted against your total time if you weren't in a room. Not sure how it would be possibly, but having your minutes tick away while you waited for the groups in front of you to finish with a room was irritating. Our family of five did have a boatload of fun though at 8, 11, 14 and 42. Lots of skills levels so it was good to be able to pick a variety of games. Note to anyone with shorter kids - maybe skip the basketball room as our 8 year old took a rebounding ball right to the face because he was the perfect height. Also, sometimes the rooms don't work. We wasted time in one room because it stopped working and we didn't know. It let us do two full rounds with literally nothing happening. They do fix them fairly quickly, but your time is gone already and you don't get it back ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ This would be great on a weekday where I assume the crowds are smaller. Would do again - we all came out sweaty and smiling.

Fun fun day with the boys at K-1 Austin!!…read more We arrived when they opened and got registered on the computers. There is a one time fee of 8.50 and then we did the 2 race package. It was 69$ I think. They had a deal for 79 for 2 races with 20$ game play and an order of strips or burger but we had already eaten. The gentleman then did a little safety orientation and we got helmets and were off to our carts. The race was 12 laps and we had a blast. It's more tiring than you think and we were all sweating a little but man was it fun. The carts set for adults go about 40-45mph on the straight away which feels super fast. The second race was even more fun with other riders. You are NOT allowed to bump others or your kicked out. The safety rules are easy to follow and made sense. We will come back with more friends!!

If you're a kid or teenager focused on getting in the kart and having fun, you may have a completely different experience. But for me, no AC in the middle of a Texas summer is insane. The place feels like a closed-off bunker with barely any airflow, and once you've been standing around in there for a while, it becomes miserable. I'm not even talking about "a little warm." I mean genuinely uncomfortable to the point where it takes away from the experience. If I'm paying that much for indoor entertainment, I should not feel like I'm being slow-cooked while I wait. The racing itself may be fun, and clearly my daughter enjoyed it, but I personally wouldn't spend my money here again during the summer unless they fix the cooling situation.

I'm glad we signed up for this and will be back next Summer for another class or two.
