Dr Burke and his team are great! I am 7 weeks post-op with a full mouth dental restoration and they all have taken really good care of me. From the initial consultation, to the planning and actual surgery day they have done everything they can to eliminate my anxiety and make me comfortable. It's definitely a process, but at the end, my health will be better, my quality of life will improve and I will never have to hide my terrible dental health again. Dr Burke and his team spent as much time as I needed to answer my large list of questions, addressing all of my concerns and involving me in decisions that will affect my life going forward. Hands down best dental experience I've had. I've had 2 separate dental offices tell me I needed a root canal the other said I needed a crown. I decided to get another opinion. Dr Burke was able to replace my fillings and turns out I did not need a root canal or crown. Not only did the previous dentist state I needed crown the cost they were trying to bill me on top of my insurance was 4x more then the quote I got here if I needed a crown. Came in for my regular 6 month check-up and cleaning on July 15. I arrived about 10 mins early and was taken back for my appointment on time. As usual, the entire staff was cordial and professional. The office is always very clean, and I watched them sanitize everything thoroughly after I touched something e.g. door handle, front counter, apron. Kyle did a great job cleaning and it is always a pleasure to see Dr. Burke. Kyle was able to accommodate a 4-month cleaning schedule moving forward and scheduled out my next two appointments on the days I requested. I've known Dr Burke for over 10 years. I have never met someone who is so dedicated to his work. I had an emergency and he was able to schedule and help me since it was my front tooth. My front tooth broke and I couldn't fix it. He explained everything and he put me in a special machine that was a high tech X-ray. He showed me why it couldn't be fixed. He temporarily fixed it before my next appointment. I'm in the public and I work with people every single day. When I came in the next time he took out my tooth and placed an implant for me at the same time. I couldn't believe it! I left with a temporary tooth until my implant healed as he said. Came to Dr. Burke's office after hearing only great things and choose to switch dentists. Unfortunately for my first visit I was put with another Dr. I didn't even know worked there. She wasn't on their website nor was her name on the door or mentioned anywhere I saw. Definitely was surprised there, but went ahead to continue. Probably at the very bottom of my list of cleanings I have gotten. I wish I was given protective eye glasses during my cleaning and I really wish it wasn't so heavy handed and painful. Between the splashing of water in my eye and prophy paste left in my hair and face I left with some very sore gums. Very very heavy handed with lots of accidental pokes here and there. Was definitely digging my head into the back of the head rest. As a fellow person in the dental field I didn't agree with several things and also don't feel like your gums should be sore and ache for the rest of the day after an 'easy' prophy as I've always been called. Some people really like heavy painful cleanings but I'm not one of them. I'm not one to bring anyone down which is why I still gave a 5 star. Just thought I would share my opinion if it helps someone. Plus my cleaning was at 8am and it's now almost midnight and I still have a few spots that are aching or tender. Although my cleaning was very very rough and few things went wrong or weren't done, everyone has their own ways. Everyone was very nice and the office was nice and clean. Sasha at the front was super great and nice. I hope she is there for awhile as she was very kind. Next visit I'm hoping to see the hygienist as well as Dr. Burke for a better and less painful experience. read more

Went in for exam, x-ray, and cleaning. The dentist found a small cavity and was graciously enough to fix it for me without me booking another appointment. However, the dentist only scrapped about four teeth and moved onto filling the cavity and didn't clean the rest of the teeth and called it done for the day. The dentist also didn't measure my gums. I am not one to leave bad reviews. However, their lack of professionalism and constant appointment changes is probably the worst I have ever witnessed, and I was a new patient- never have been in. I work full time (like most) but can still come in the mornings between 8-10 and any afternoon after 3:30. Other dentist my entire life seem to be able to accommodate a work schedule with in reason. Over my new patient inquiry, they tried to re-schedule with Dr. Burke and his assistant 5, yes 5 times!!! They always stated a " family emergency". I even had the Dr. texting me asking for other times and gave me options for 2 months out at 1pm on a Tuesday which is impossible for me. I finally waited and booked in August for an October appt. at 4pm. Guess what- 2 days before they called and said a family emergency and can you come early that day or reschedule. How does a small family owned practice stay in business with this? I guess its my bad for trusting them after the 2nd time and 3rd.... Save your self and go some where else. read more

I been searching for a good dental office that can fix my mom's dental needs and i went through the most frustrating experience for 2 years, and finally Dr Burke was my answered prayers. From the time I met Dr Burke, I knew he was the one that can fix my moms teeth. He was top notch, very caring, wry accommodating and very knowledgeable on all aspects . During my moms post op days from having her dental implant, his office was close but I called him and told about my moms pain and bleeding, he immediately said come to my clinic that morning. This review is long over due! I've been a patient of Dr. Darryl Burke for more than 20 years. I've followed him to 3 different locations and should he move again he can count on me going along with him and his magnificent team of professionals! First off let me tell you about the office. It is beautifully appointed, state of the art equipment and eye catching bathroom facilities. Clean, neat and well stocked! Elva and her staff are amazing, always so pleasant, courteous, and caring. The followup care post operative is 2nd to none. Over the years I've had fillings, root canals, extractions, partials, bridges and most recently implants. It takes a great deal of confidence and trust in your Doctor and staff to endure all that I've been through. For about 2 years I put off getting implants to replace a 20 year old partial. Finally Dr. Burke and I agreed it was time to take the plunge to get the implants. The preparation for surgery, shape and color of the teeth, as well as maintaining the fullness of my lips was non negotiable. A tall order from a very demanding, outspoken and highly critical patient. Dr Burke had his work cut out for him. The lab staff Dr Burke chose to work with possess the skills and care that are reflective of Dr. Burke's own perfectionism. Truly, they are miracle workers. Dr. Darryl isn't such a bad guy - though I've not had the presonal reveal as others have reported. I must say that his mother needs to stay out of the office. This is not the family home, it is a business. I've seen DB for about 4 years and have had adequate but not remarkable service. He has replaced old deteriorated crowns in the past, they haven't fit well (we worked on that), left wider gaps between teeth, but functional. Beginning in Sep '10 I had 3 crowns replaced that were aging and beginning to fail. They were not causing pain, this was preventative maintenance based on DB's recommendation. I have been in A LOT of pain ever since! All 3 have require root canals because the trauma to their roots, I believed resulting from the replacement procedures. All 3. I'm not convinced that dentistry is Dr. Burk's calling. Sorry D, gotta call it like I see it. read more

Dr. Burke and his staff was fine, no complaints whatsoever. He is a fine dentist who is professional and competent. I read a review of someone who said that their bridge did not fit, my did not the first time, either. He wanted to make sure it was correct, so he did it a second time, and all fit perfectly. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt with respect to the bridge..... it could have been the labs fault, or someone else, no big deal. In the end, all was good. It was minor adjustment. OUTSTANDING Dental practice! I have been to at least a half dozen dentists in my lifetime and have never been more happy with my choice in dentists. There are several reasons why I rank this 5 stars. My first experience was just a routine x-ray and such. Office was very well maintained and ALL the staff was as friendly as you would want. My second visit was to begin an extensive procedure that without insurance would have cost me over $2000. When I went in the receptionist told me that my insurance for some reason dropped any coverage for my procedure, which left me extremely upset. The receptionist told me that it didn't seem right and immediately called the insurance company which confirmed in fact they no longer offered any coverage. While the receptionist was talking to the dentist to help figure out a solution, the insurance company called back and told them that my insurance in fact does cover the procedure and it was an error that they would not have caught if the receptionist did not call. THANK YOU for saving me so much money! Lastly, during my extensive procedure I experienced no discomfort, went home and began the healing process when out of the blue at about 8 in the evening Dr. Darryl called to make sure I was doing alright. That has never happened. Not more than two days later I received another call from Dr. Darryl, again calling to make sure I was healing ok. Amazing experience. His fees are fair. For about 20 years he has been both my dentist and my husband's. For me, it's what he hasn't done that is so impressive; I've been cavity free all my years with him. All I've needed is old fillings replaced, regular cleanings and X-rays. He never recommends unnecessary work, unlike previous unscrupulous dentists I've been too.
