This review is long overdue, but I can't express how big of a blessing Darrin was to me and my beloved German Shepherd, Stella. He came into our lives when we were new to the city after some difficult life changes, and immediately made me comfortable with his knowledge and ability to manage the special needs that my sassy girl required as a larger and not-always-cheery GSD. He's a fabulous communicator, not only with updates on walks and caretaking, but with the local community. He's got a HUGE heart, and builds genuine connections with his canine and human clients :) Not only was he easily able to bring out the best in Stella, but she absolutely fell in love with his incredible sidekick Apollo :) On the hardest day of my life, when I had to unexpectedly say goodbye to my sweet girl, Darrin didn't hesitate to come and spend time to say his final goodbyes. Even though she was fading quickly, she perked up the second she knew he was in the room, and it made my breaking heart soar with joy seeing first-hand how much they loved each other. Darrin has been walking my dogs for a year. I hired him because I had an elderly Akita and a young puppy. My elderly Akita was not always cool with other dogs, and Darrin has special skill and experience with challenging / aggressive dogs as well as elderly dogs. He's very caring and connected with my dogs quickly. He walks the dogs around the neighborhood in small groups rather than the common practice of picking up a large group of dogs in a van and driving them to a dog park. The end up spending a lot of time in traffic. What Darrin does is nice because it means no time in the car, smaller group, and more attention. I emphatically recommend. read more

Darrin has been a real gift to our senior dog Manny. We also have a young dog, so the two have very different needs. Darrin has helped us make sure that Manny has his own time, and walks at his own pace. Manny is pretty much blind and deaf, Darrin is so kind and loving with him, we are incredibly grateful to have found Darrin. Darrin and I first ran into each other as neighbors walking with our dogs. My dog Reggie is a high-energy, friendly guy who immediately took interest in Darrin's dog, Apollo. I asked Darrin if he could walk Reggie with Apollo as I felt he needed more practice walking in a pack and could really benefit from being around Apollo's more mellow demeanor. I was so impressed by Darrin's experience and seasoned handling skills. Reggie is a very excited and happy boy, but he's also incredibly strong so I'm careful with who I ask to walk him. I use 2 different dog walkers -- one dog walker takes my dog out with pack groups with 8 or 9 other dogs (to large open areas) and she is awesome!!! My dog loves the groups. But for one-on-one attention I use Darrin Frazier, and he is also awesome. He really understands dogs and temperaments, and he loves what he does. And my dog loves him!! I've seen him with a lot of different dogs, big and small, and he knows how to handle every situation. He's the perfect dog walker for dogs that need one-on-one attention, that are better going out in groups of 3 or smaller, or that are mostly home bound but need to be let out for pee breaks. He's super friendly, very respectful, and very informative. He has a key to my place, he's stayed here for pet-sitting when I've been away for extended periods, he's an excellent dog and house sitter, and I can't say enough good things. Darrin has cared for my French Bulldog for the past four years. He is a fantastic dog walker and a very kind, caring person. He really loves each animal that he cares for and gives one-on-one attention. My dog is a sweetly stubborn dog and requires special attention, something Darrin has always been happy to provide. Darrin has been great with my two dogs (one about 5 lbs, the other about 50). He loves dogs large and small, and has provided great walks for them together. They always come back with a big smile on their face. If you prefer that your dogs are not walked in groups with other dogs, Darrin is the right guy for you.
