It was like a cozy living room with couches, lounge chairs, a fireplace, and refreshment bar with spa water, iced tea, and hot tea. I liked that the form asked questions like how talkative you would like your masseuse to be, if you have any injuries/tender spots, and preferred pressure firmness. My partner had booked us the "Escape Together" package which included a 20-minute copper bath and 60-minute couples massage in the outdoor cabana. The bath was totally relaxing and the jets turning off signaled the end of our 20-minute soak. We returned to the relaxation room where we were greeted by our masseuses Rachel and Lana who guided us to the cabana. We were prompted to choose our preferred essential oil for the aromatherapy concept. Lana provided a very relaxing massage for me and was very sweet. I would have enjoyed firmer pressure but I think it was my fault for circling "Gentle" on the form. I usually go to more budget-friendly Asian spas where their default pressure is usually quite rough. My partner said she enjoyed her massage with Rachel as well. After the massage, they brought us some iced tea and let us know that we were welcome to use the dry sauna and encouraged us to stay hydrated. We spent about 10 minutes in the sauna before ending our time. I greatly enjoyed my time here. The spa was clean, relaxing, and every single one of the staff members we interacted with were wonderful. I would highly recommend a visit here for individuals or couples.

I want to start off by saying how amazing Darla is and I recommend her 100%!! I had been dying my hair, using hot tools and clip on extensions for over 6 yrs, which led to having hair loss. I was interested in getting a wig but was hesitant because i had never had one before. After reviewing so many different hairstylists/ salons I came across darla. I decided i didn't want anyone touching my hair but her! I had a consult with Darla & she answered every single question i had. After weighing out my options I decided i wanted her to do a custom wig for me. Let me say It was life changing for me! When I say this place is the best, I mean it is the ABSOLUTE BEST!!! Darla and her dolls made me feel welcomed from the moment I walked through the door. Her shop is extremely clean, well kept, and in the most convenient location. The vibe in the shop is so laid back and positive that you won't want to leave. I came for the first time to get dolled up by the best for my 26th birthday (full weave and lace closure) and I did not leave disappointed. I've been feeling myself ever since. Due to all that's going on I wasn't able to get my Brazilian wax so when I found Darla and seen she was taking appointments I booked right away not even knowing what to expect but I'm blown away!!! Great first experience at the Salon. Scheduling an appointment was an easy process.The Braider showed up on time at least 20-30 before the appointment. Nika was professional and did not have her cell phone between her ear and shoulder. My adult daughter wanted crochet braids. She also has multiple disabilities and can be fidgety. Listen when I say I enjoyed my experience I really enjoyed my experience. I went in for just a simple wash and blow dry because I needed a good wash. Just left and i must say for my first experience it was the best. I got the brazilian wax and i wasnt uncomfortable or anything. Darla was very professional and informative. Even though we had a little trouble removing some hair (due to me sweating and the thickness of the area) she got in there and worked everything out. She is VERY THOROUGH. I have always had bad experiences with black owned salons. The stylist is either late, overbooked, and or doesn't do what i ask. Darla was the complete opposite. My service was started on time, completed exactly as I asked and reasonably priced. I loved how she showed interest in caring for my hair and not just styling it. Instead of a greeting back, the first thing she said was, "Can you close the door because the air is on?" There was no "Hi, how are you?" or even a polite request. It immediately set the tone for the visit. When she finally asked how she could help me, I told her I was there for a color change. She looked around, sighed, and said, "We're not gonna have time for you today." I paused, expecting her to offer another appointment or suggest another time, but instead it just felt like, "We can't help you." I said, "No problem," and started walking out. An employee (who I believe was her assistant) ran after me and told me another customer had offered to let me go ahead since my service was something simple. I honestly hesitated because of the owner's attitude, but I wanted to give a black owned business the benefit of the doubt, so I came back. I thanked the customer who let me go ahead, but the owner never acknowledged me. Even something as simple as, "It's been really busy today, but we appreciate you and we'll be with you shortly," would have gone a long way. When it was finally my turn, I sat down and the owner asked, "You're just getting a color change, right?" I said yes, and she didn't say another word. It honestly felt like she still didn't want to service me but was doing so because I was already there. A little while later she yelled across to me, "Hey, blue shirt... what's your name?" After I told her, she said that from her angle it looked like I had my leg resting on the technician and that her client didn't want to turn around. It was awkward, but I laughed it off and once again tried to give her the benefit of the doubt, figuring maybe she was just someone who was a little rough around the edges. After my service was finished, I went to pay. The technician asked if it was my first time there. When I said yes, she then informed me there was a $10 fee because they had to remove someone else's polish. The "removal" was simply sanding off my previous color. My issue wasn't even the fee--it was that it wasn't disclosed before the service started. Any additional charges should be communicated upfront so customers can decide whether they'd like to proceed. So I ended up paying $30 for a simple color changed when I could've just waited and got a pedicure at that point. The final straw was leaving the salon without so much as a "Thank you," "Have a great day," or "We appreciate your business." The owner said absolutely nothing. While I was there, I also watched other customers come in asking for pedicures. They received the same short, dismissive responses and were simply turned away. As they walked out, the owner called after them, "Keep us in mind." Honestly, that's difficult to do when customers aren't greeted warmly, prices aren't fully explained beforehand, and there doesn't seem to be much effort to make people feel welcome. The salon itself is nice, but customer service matters just as much as the quality of the work. A little kindness, professionalism, and clear communication go a long way in building loyal customers. Unfortunately, because of how I was treated, I won't be returning, and I can't recommend this salon based on my experience. I hope this brings awareness to the owner and no one else has to go through this experience

I was very dissatisfied with the environment and the lady at the front desk, not sure if she was…read morethe owner but she has a nasty attitude, stays on her phone all the time and was talking on speaker which was about nothing professional but more of drinking and what she was gonna do this weekend. I found her to be extremely loud and she should be more professional idc how good you are at what you do. The music was sexual so I'd would never like bring my kid here like ever! The work on my hair was good but again the environment was not welcoming. I feel like the reviews here are not honest ones as when you look at Google reviews they are not good for the most part. Its one thing to be confident in your business and ability and another to have an attitude like people owe you something and that's the vibe I got. I like to support black businesses but this one is a HUGE NO for me they could not do my hair for free! Btw I've held on to my review for a few months like 10 months or more, thinking if I wanted to post it or not and decided to because people deserve to know where they are spending their money and with what kind of people.

I will start by saying that my hair was done beautifully . I got it done by someone on Nike I saw…read moreon social media . Unfortunately Nike was 30 minutes late even though she had a time policy . I would've let that go but I find it rude when you don't even acknowledge your own time policy. The hostess was sweet but it did put me off a bit when she asked if I had scheduled an appointment and I had to find the confirmation for her because I wasn't on the books. It wasn't her fault and I don't hold any malice toward the establishment itself . I just would have hoped that my stylist would have acknowledged the fact that she stressed a time policy and was late or Atleast would have apologized. Her work was phenomenal 10/10 for that. The conversations were warm and friendly . Her service 150$ for a trim and press n curl does come with a wash and condition. I washed my hair before I got there because I took my braids down the day before so she did not wash and condition me. She did stop and take several quick breaks to text on her phone for what I don't know but yeah . I didn't feel super reassured about what services I should get or what she would suggest which as a beauty therapist I found odd and off putting. I paid for my service and as I was leaving and asking questions about what I should do with my hair next she was still on her phone. It was an experience , Glad to see woman owned business doing their thing. I won't be back - it was overpriced for the service and lacked quite a bit in professionalism. My hair was beautiful though.

My nails last for weeks, and I always leave feeling happy and confident. It's clear they truly care about their clients and treat everyone like family.
