    Chicken pot and shepherd pie
    Steven W.

Ordered 2 pies from Darcy's, the classic chicken pot pie and the shepard's pie. Both were decent in size and good but for me, lacked the meat. A true decor of the definition pub. They do also offer your standard American foods such as pizza, burgers and sandwiches.

Really good pizza and solid drink selection. Also pretty sure Hayden Panettiere waitresses here now on the low key.

Best bar pizza in Quincy. Pub area smells like B.O. But it's worth the few minutes inside to pickup some pies.

We noticed the other side with larger tables was empty but was unfortunately closed off. The male bartender said we could sit on that side, and went around the table asking how much sobriety we had under our belts. Come to find out, he was also sober. While we ate dinner he kept people from that side, and we were able to enjoy a dinner together without being surrounded by others drinking which was AMAZING because all 6 of us are fairly recently sober. One in our party was actually experiencing his first time at a restaurant since quitting drinking. We appreciated the hospitality tenfold! Food was absolutely AMAZING and portions were stacked! It was a great ending to our night!!!

Excellent food, attentive staff and just the right number of tables/seats and patrons. When we were there last night, we arrived at about 5:30pm and it was still quiet. But soon as 6pm arrived they were getting close to capacity. Seems to be quite popular and a great meeting place for friends, eating or date night. We had the Guiness draft, and they were perfectly poured. The suggestion I would make is that they use an insignia on the foam to promote their talented bar staff and restaurant. We (4) all had something different, Burger & fries, Shepards Pie with lamb, Codfish and I had the Pork Shank. Let me warn you that you need be hungry when you arrive from the good size portions as you won't be disappointed. Everyone ate everything and nothing was left to take back. All perfectly prepared. We came from Stoughton, so it was about 30-minute drive and well worth going to. Definitely going back. Thanks, you for the great time and food!

With this comes the anxiety that I will discover a mind-blowing place and kick myself for not heading in sooner. Thus, a disappointing experience doesn't hurt *quite* as bad. However, the foodie in me doesn't care about relocation... he cares about food. Lured in by reviews of my peers, I tried the Tokenfire Colada and the Ribeye Steak. The Colada seemed interesting and unique, and the steak looked mouthwatering in the pictures. Tokenfire Colada - This one was very sweet, peanuty, extremely creamy, and a little savory. The thickness kept it from being refreshing, and I am not sure if I would call it boozy either. Usually with cocktails I sip and sip until it's all gone well before the halfway point, like popcorn in a movie theater where the bag is gone by the end of the trailers. Then there was the Ribeye Steak. I don't know... something about one of the photos here possessed me to order it, though I almost never order steak at a restaurant (gosh knows why). The wait for this thing was considerable, more than I would expect for a medium-rare piece of meat, especially when it wasn't that busy. I can only imagine if all tables/bar seats were full and there was a waitlist! Eventually the steak made it to me, but... was it worth it? No, it was worth neither the wait, nor the money it cost. First, rather than being cooked medium-rare as requested, it was more a medium-well, at best. Second, some of the steak was extraordinarily chewy. Third and finally, I found it rather bland, while some salt was used in seasoning, this was very light. The steak came with broccoli and mashed potatoes. These two were also bland, and so forgettable I didn't remember them until I went to upload the photo of the dish. Finally, there is the question of vibe. It feels like a place with light tavern influences. Not at all bad to spend a couple hours. However, as a small quip, the purple/violet LEDs fly in the face of said vibe. Thus, we are left with a thoroughly underwhelming experience where I begrudgingly finished my items because I am not someone who likes to send food back. I am only glad I tried Tokenfire in that I won't regret never trying it.

Bar seating was filled with most of the adjacent tables-for-two taken. We were more interested in a booth. Ample comfortable booth seating past the bar. Our waitress was exceptional. She guided us through the ample side dishes (for entrees) and explained the nuances of the Cider on tap. My friend ordered steak tips with mashed potatoes. I ordered turkeys tips with a side salad. We both ordered the (hard) Cider-served in a tall pint glass. We started with a basket of homemade chips. We both enjoyed our entrees (and took some of the steak tips home.) These are healthy-sized portions. The Cider was memorable. Chocolate cake for dessert was delicious (and more than two of us could finish.) Prices here are very reasonable. Ample free parking in front of the restaurant. We were the only people seated in a booth (we arrived at 5 pm) and with a full bar we could not hear any voices coming from the bar. I think we were the only non-regulars; I plan to become one!
