SamWise getting his first haircut! Thanks Mel!

This is my second time at this spa and this time I brought my 4 month puppy to get his first haircut. Mel groomed our puppy and he looks terrific! I really like this grooming salon- everyone is super friendly, it's clean and cute, the price is affordable and the service is outstanding! Now my mom is going to take her dog to get groomed there!

Linda always works so well on my anxious Olive and is so sweet to her even when she is a nervous Nelly with them & I am so beyond grateful for that. It was Comet's first time going to this groomer & I couldn't be more pleased with the results! This place was recommended to me by my mom. I asked for a slight trim on his body, his face to be cleaned up, & a teeth cleaning. It took about two hours & I paid $65. We will definitely be back!

Daylee has cut our 14 year old Shih Tzu Koko for longer than I can remember. Now that Koko is senior, with cataracts in both eyes, she is extremely sensitive to any kind of handling and touching of her face. Thank goodness for Daylee....she is THE ONLY groomer we would trust with Koko. Now that we have a puppy who is also new to blow dryer noises and baths, we trust she is always being handled with love and care at Dapper Dog Spa. Highly recommend thwir services to any dog owners!

Couldn't be happier and grateful for Dapper Dog Spa and the whole team. My 3 yr old anxious pup had never been to a groomer and they worked with me for 2months getting her used to being in a salon from a 5min brushing to working her way up finally to a full on bath with drying! Taylor was extremely kind and patient and never gave up on her and was able to get my pup to acclimate to getting a bath, which for myself has been near impossible. As a pet parent, it is a bit nerve-wracking when your dog is so high energy and anxious, but thank you to Daylee and her team for taking such good care of Daisy! I couldn't be happier that I found Dapper Dog Spa! My two goldendoodles have come in twice now for grooming. Each time they look, feel and smell great! I appreciate that they don't take in a ton of dogs at once so the dogs only have to stay for a couple of hours. My last groomer would have the dogs from 9 am to 4 pm. Daylee and Taylor are great! We'll keep coming back. After our first visit, I had one small thing I wanted to change on our next cut. I mentioned it at our second appt and they made the adjustment. I appreciate that they are open to feedback as they learn my dogs' coats and how I like them styled.

I've being bringing my dogs to this place for two years now their customer service skill was always unprofessional but I did not care because they would do my dogs haircuts good. But the last time we took our 3 dogs was the worse experience ever two of them have red skin and it looks like a rash and one of them has a cut on his testicles and i understand accidents happen but what I don't understand is that they didn't tell me anything so that I Could've put a cone on him and some medication instead they took our money and stayed quiet about it. And even after I told them what happened and I showed them pictures of him they said it's not a cut and just to take better pictures of him so I did and they couldn't even give us an apology for this or anything instead they said just put a cone on him you're making it worse. That's another lever of evilness because dogs can't talk and They can't say what hurts. So please don't bring your dogs here take care of them and stay away from people like them !! . And lastly she wrote on my sisters review that she would give us a resolution and the resolution was blaming us for not putting a cone on him but she was so unprofessional and so evil that she didn't even told us he got a cut. So please stay away from business owners that just care about money and are not even able to do what they're getting paid for.

Dapper Dog Spa is the best! Daylee has been grooming my dog since he had his first grooming over 4 years ago. My dog is not the most cooperative, even aggressive at times, due to anxiety. Yet still she handles him with great care and he always looks wonderful. She has been so kind to even assist me in the past with things that do not fall in the typical "grooming" category as I was unsure how to manage some difficult situations with my dog. Hello, I am writing this review, due to the previous experience I had at Dapper Dog Spa. I used to love this place, however my last experience changed my opinion. I walked in and to my surprise, I was informed that my dog's groomer, Linda, is no longer with the shop. It would have been nice to receive information regarding the departure of Linda, my dogs usual groomer, stating she was no longer with the shop, as it is very difficult to find a groomer that is very detailed in their work and a service I was satisfied with. I walked in the shop and I was very taken back by Daylee's unprofessionality as she would not provide eye contact and kept looking down at her phone while conversing with me. I asked Daylee for more information regarding this inconvenience, as she is the owner of the shop, to which she replied in a monotone manner, "Linda is no longer with us," while she merely glanced up from her phone and provided no eye contact during the entire interaction. Her responses were very short and blunt, for instance she stated, "I have no idea" shrugged her shoulders, and continued to look down at her phone. This is not the first time I have encountered Daylee's rude demeanor. Recounting past experiences, it became clear that Daylee always seems bothered and annoyed. On this occasion specifically, Daylee failed to greet me upon entering her shop for my dog's monthly appointment. Ironically, another groomer, Taylor did greet me while she was busy grooming another dog. This shows the lack of professionalism as Daylee was at the front desk, and should be greeting all guests respectfully. Therefore, sadly I will no longer be returning back to Dapper Dog Spa due to my last interaction with Daylee. read more

We've been going to Dapper Dog for about a year, and we are so grateful for them, especially Taylor. We have a 60 pound Doberman mix who shakes, trembles, pants, and cries with so much anxiety when we come in. Taylor is so patient and compassionate with him, despite how difficult he can be to work with. Also, it's important to mention that she never makes us feel like he is difficult. It is obvious that she does this for her love of dogs (INCLUDING big dogs which is SO RARE to find...she has big adorable fur babies herself ). She also does a PHENOMENAL job cutting his nails perfectly even though his quicks are exposed. Not to mention their pricing is BEYOND fair--again, especially for big dogs. Even with add-ons like teeth brushing and deshedding, I've never paid over $100 (before tip and tax) for my 60 lb dog's bath and brush. I cannot recommend them enough. They're a small business who cares so deeply about your pet; you can't go wrong with them no matter your dog's size, breed, or temperament. read more

My Chula has been to the best of the best dog spas in whittier/La Habra area and they failed us. Chula is a very special pup and tends to bark and also nips when you touch her toes. Today, was our 3rd visit with Daylee and we're here to stay. Daylee has been extremely attentive to Chula's needs and behavior. She's communicative and she genuinely loves pups. Be cautious. You may encounter a completely unprofessional attitude, and it appears they're indifferent to losing a customer. Initially, I was pleased to discover a welcoming place. I requested a female groomer for my shy rescue, hoping she could see the same person each visit. Linda was assigned to us and was a perfect fit. My little girl felt at ease with her and had no issues. I received a text one day suggesting I reschedule due to Linda's illness. I replied that any female groomer would do, but was told it might be Eric, as the women were booked with Linda's appointments. I answered I could bathe her myself and later took her to my pet sitter. Recently, I emailed to make an appointment, mentioning preferred Linda in case she was available. The next day, I received a curt reply: "Linda is no longer at our shop." No signature, no offer of assistance--just like BYE! Such behavior is unacceptable. It seems they don't like if your pet has specific needs. This was a revealing experience. Exercise caution when entrusting your pet to them. read more

She's quick, the dogs are happy when I leave them there and they look beautiful when I pick them up. She's had both dogs groomed in 3 hours or less every time I've taken them in. Here at Dapper Dog Spa we offer express grooming which means your dog will be back in your arms before you know it! We go by appointment only, never over lapping appointments to ensure a speedy service. Thrilled to share the incredible experience we had with Dapper Dog Spa! From the moment I spoke with Eric, the warmth and genuine care for our fur baby, Sophie, shone through. Unlike our previous groomer in the Whittier/La Habra area, Dapper Dog Spa is a breath of fresh air - literally! The atmosphere is clean, bright, and spacious, a stark contrast to the old, tired, and dark space we were accustomed to. At our former groomer, the grooming process was hidden from view, leaving us in the dark about our pets' experiences. However, at Dapper Dog Spa, transparency is key, and witnessing the one-on-one bathing and grooming process would put any pet owner at ease. Yes, I am aware that all groomers want the fur baby parents to do 'drop offs' so the one-on-one grooming experience is not compromised by mommy or daddy looking on... The 90-minute average grooming time flies by, giving you the perfect opportunity to run errands nearby or enjoy a leisurely visit to Costco or Whittwood Town Center Mall. Plus, the thoughtful touch of a 15-minute heads-up text is a testament to the care and consideration they put into every pet's experience. Sophie's day at Dapper Dog Spa was nothing short of a "SPA" day. No more 8-hour cage confinement - instead, she was treated with love and attention, emerging happy and as cute as a button. This was my first visit with my little silky terrier, Jack. I was so impressed from the moment I walked in and felt the clean, organized, and professional grooming space. Daylee made me feel comfortable and welcomed and asked a few questions about Jack and his needs. Two other groomers were working and made me feel so welcomed as well. Love this place! This was my first time trying Dapper Dog Spa and I was so pleased with everything. The customer service was great! I wasn't offered things that my dog didn't actually need. I've had a lot of pervious salons try to up sell everything, and I was happy with the services recommended. I have a 7 year old standard poodle that always needs a lot of work. The service was done in a timely manner and her haircut was fantastic. The salon over all is beautiful and very clean. I will definitely be returning for all my dogs grooming needs. read more

I got myself a puppy from a rescue place, all they knew or believed was she was a terrier mix, 4 months old. She had her first visit today, I'm sure it was tough day for her, but Robyn was great with her. She did a great job, she showed her compassion with her which is probably even more important to me then 2nd would be the grooming, which she did great introducing her to what future visits will be like. Daylee and all of the staff at Dapper Dog are amazing! I've been taking my dog Teddy to her for grooming for a little over a year. The salon is clean and the staff is always very nice and helpful.
