Thrilled to share the incredible experience we had with Dapper Dog Spa! From the moment I spoke with Eric, the warmth and genuine care for our fur baby, Sophie, shone through. Unlike our previous groomer in the Whittier/La Habra area, Dapper Dog Spa is a breath of fresh air - literally! The atmosphere is clean, bright, and spacious, a stark contrast to the old, tired, and dark space we were accustomed to. At our former groomer, the grooming process was hidden from view, leaving us in the dark about our pets' experiences. However, at Dapper Dog Spa, transparency is key, and witnessing the one-on-one bathing and grooming process would put any pet owner at ease. Yes, I am aware that all groomers want the fur baby parents to do 'drop offs' so the one-on-one grooming experience is not compromised by mommy or daddy looking on... The 90-minute average grooming time flies by, giving you the perfect opportunity to run errands nearby or enjoy a leisurely visit to Costco or Whittwood Town Center Mall. Plus, the thoughtful touch of a 15-minute heads-up text is a testament to the care and consideration they put into every pet's experience. Sophie's day at Dapper Dog Spa was nothing short of a "SPA" day. No more 8-hour cage confinement - instead, she was treated with love and attention, emerging happy and as cute as a button. Gone are the days of a frazzled, dehydrated, and exhausted pup. Thanks to Daylee's expertise, Sophie now exudes beauty, radiates a wonderful scent, and is genuinely content and stress-free. In my heart, I believe we've discovered the finest groomers in the Whittier & La Habra/Heights area. Eric and Daylee, your passion for what you do is truly appreciated. Thank you for transforming Sophie into the happy and beautiful girl she is today! read more

I can't praise Daylee at Dapper Dog in Whittier enough for her exceptional grooming skills and outstanding service! Every time I bring my Golden Doodle, Khloe, for a grooming session, Daylee goes above and beyond to ensure Khloe looks her best. Daylee is not only a skilled professional, but she also has a genuine love for animals that shines through in her work. Her attention to detail and dedication to perfection are truly commendable. Khloe always comes back looking and feeling fantastic, thanks to Daylee's expert care. It's evident that Daylee takes the time to understand each dog's unique needs and personality, making the grooming experience stress-free and enjoyable for both pets and their owners. I highly recommend Daylee at Dapper Dog to anyone seeking top-notch grooming services in Whittier. Thank you, Daylee, for always doing a fantastic job with Khloe! read more

This is the nicest, friendliest dog grooming place I have ever come across. EVERY single time I've gone in, I've always been greeted with a hello right away, even if they're busy with other dogs!! The girls are all so patient . My Gidget is always a bit squirmy, and they always have handled her with gentle kindness. I LOVE how they baby talk her to try and keep her calm. I haven't seen a grumpy groomer there yet haha, and believe me I've seen some grumpy ones!! I also love how everything is right there out in the open. The girls never look stressed or frustrated. Real stand up people here, including who I think is the owner, she's very nice as well. I think she did my Gidget's nails once because the other girls were busy. Great people here! I tell everyone I come across who has a furbaby, about Dapper Dog!! Thank you for the great service! read more

We absolutely love Dapper Dog Spa and have had such a great experience with them! They groom our Goldendoodles, Sunny & Skye, and they always come home looking fluffy, beautifully shaped, and exactly how we want him to look. I've seen comments suggesting that doodles are automatically shaved here, and that has absolutely not been our experience. Sunny & Skye are not matted, we keep up with brushing and coat maintenance at home. Doodle coats take a lot of consistent upkeep between grooming appointments, and if a coat becomes severely matted, sometimes shaving is the safest and most humane option. I don't think it's fair to blame the groomer for that or imply that they simply don't know how to brush out a doodle. We trust Dapper Dog Spa completely with my dogs and would recommend them 1000% They do a beautiful job every time. read more

This was my first visit with my little silky terrier, Jack. I was so impressed from the moment I walked in and felt the clean, organized, and professional grooming space. Daylee made me feel comfortable and welcomed and asked a few questions about Jack and his needs. Two other groomers were working and made me feel so welcomed as well. Thank you Daylee for doing a fantastic job as you certaintly have a gift and talent. You made me feel so confident that Jack was in good hands, and I appreciated this so much. This will definitely be our new doggy spa! I loved that you were punctual and I was able to get on with my day as planned. Thank you so much Daylee! read more

After struggling for several years to groom Finn's nails at home, we decided to seek the services of a professional groomer. For close to a year now, we have been taking Finn for bi-weekly nail grinding, and we have been greatly impressed by the level of service provided by Daylee and her team. Their patience and professionalism with our boy have been exemplary, and we are truly grateful for their exceptional service. We are fortunate to have found a groomer who is able to meet Finn's specific grooming needs and who treats him with kindness. We highly recommend Daylee and her team to anyone seeking a trusted and skilled groomer for their pets. read more

I can't say enough great things about Daylee and her dog grooming services! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with such warmth and positivity--it truly feels like you're leaving your pet in the best hands possible. She's not only incredibly skilled and gentle with the dogs, but her customer service is also top-notch. She genuinely cares about each pup and their owner, and it shows in every detail. My dog always leaves looking (and smelling!) amazing, and I always leave with a smile. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a groomer who combines talent, heart, and professionalism! read more

Love this place! This was my first time trying Dapper Dog Spa and I was so pleased with everything. The customer service was great! I wasn't offered things that my dog didn't actually need. I've had a lot of pervious salons try to up sell everything, and I was happy with the services recommended. I have a 7 year old standard poodle that always needs a lot of work. The service was done in a timely manner and her haircut was fantastic. The salon over all is beautiful and very clean. I will definitely be returning for all my dogs grooming needs. read more

Flynn looked amazing after his session at the spa. His hair was nicely trimmed, and he seemed happier and more confident. I highly recommend the Dapper Dog Spa for their exceptional service and the transformation they achieved with Flynn's grooming. read more

I've had the pleasure of knowing Daylee for quite some time, dating back to our grooming days. She was an exceptional groomer back then, and her talent has only flourished with the establishment of her own business. Recently, we adopted Raul, our beloved 9-year-old German Shepherd, who was in desperate need of a bath. Daylee worked her magic, and Raul emerged looking absolutely stunning! When it comes to our furry family member, there's no one else we'd entrust. Daylee, thank you immensely for treating our pets as if they were your own. read more

I got myself a puppy from a rescue place, all they knew or believed was she was a terrier mix, 4 months old. She had her first visit today, I'm sure it was tough day for her, but Robyn was great with her. She did a great job, she showed her compassion with her which is probably even more important to me then 2nd would be the grooming, which she did great introducing her to what future visits will be like. Thank you! See you next time... read more
