I think I enjoy writing reviews about products I love, and I LOVE, LOVE my Dansko shoes. I can't even tell you how many pairs that I've owned (let me try to count... hmmm, over 10 pairs at least - yes, I am a pure fan!) So where have my Dansko's been? Traveled throughout the U.K., parts of the U.S. (from Disneyland to the Bay Area) and especially helped me survive trekking all over New York City for two years! If you've lived in NYC, you know you can't get away from walking everywhere! My Dansko's have also been there for me when I have been up on my feet all day working in long term care facilities to having to walk in humidity around Honolulu, Hawaii. I can't recommend and advocate for these shoes enough. When I see people with feet pain, I say to purchase a pair of Dansko's - they are worth it! I have been wearing Danskos for years and the first pair I ever purchased - I didn't have to break them in like one would with most shoes. That first pair has stretched out well beyond being able to wear them anymore - but, I can't bear to throw them out (my favorite pair!!!). Since then, I've been a faithful fan and advocate for DANSKO! The company is known for their clogs - stapled clogs. Hi, I have been a Dansko lover for about 20 years. Two years ago I bought the Sally Clog, which I had coveted for months. It is quite a bit lighter than the professional, sporting a flexible rubber sole and cute ankle strap. A couple of days ago I noticed that the right clog was squeaking. Upon inspection I discovered that the sole had cracked just behind the ball of the foot. I was devastated.... so I emailed Dansko to see if they could be repaired. I got a reply immediately - please send your shoes to us and we'll take a look and replace them after inspection, which is just wonderful, except I live in Amsterdam. After a quick communication, we agreed to ship the replacements to a US address. As I was getting ready to pack up my clogs for their overseas adventure, I got a shocking email from Tonya in the E-Commerce department "Hey, shipping is going to be expensive, why don't we just send a pair of replacements to the US address?" Wow, so without even looking at the damage, Dansko just wants to send me a replacement? Holy cow that is amazing service! I was fully prepared for Dansko's inspection to come back as "You wore these to death, sorry." - which would have been sad because I want that to be Dansko's trademark - Wear these to Death. I did send Tonya a picture of the damaged shoe for her records along with a million thank-you's and now I am going to go online and invest more in such an amazing company. I was walking along at the State Fair of Texas and my shoes broke. Well, I love these shoes... They're Dansko and I have never found anything more comfy... so, I wrote to Dansko...a completely employee owned company.They wrote back and kindly explained that they hadn't carried that style in over ten years...(Couldn't believe I'd owned them that long) and THEN they said "Just ship them back to us, pick out another pair of shoes from our current Dansko line, and we'll replace the ones you loved." So many reasons to love this place! First of all, they have their shoes neatly displayed with the sizes on each circular rack so you know what you are looking for. There were several employees that were willing to help with finding the right fit of the shoes. They were all friendly and were happy to be there, not annoyed because someone needed extra help finding just the right pair. I'm not really into all the "green" stuff but their office building is really environmentally friendly. There are plants on the outer roof perimeter and they recycle that water to use for the bathrooms etc. It was a really nice building. I am new to Dansko shoes so I was really excited to get a few pairs for a great price. Definitely will be returning there soon! read more

Gotta Say, I love the Shoes, but the speed of service is awful. So its December 29th 2016 my Mozos have completly fallen apart. I decide to go back to wearing Dansko's. I go online and order a pair. The web site now says " Please order an 1/2 size bigger as our shoes run small. So of course I oder the 1/2 size larger. I happily pay the fee and await my order. The next day I get the email that says my shoes have shipped. Of course I check Fed ex smart post tracking. I also now its going to take a couple of extra days because of New Years. I check the tracking on the next day, it updates me and says they will be delivered 7 days from now. I set my calendar and await my gift. On the 6th day I couldnt help it as I checked the tracking number again. To my surprise it now said to be delivered on the 12th. WTF ! I couldnt believe how slow this was taking, waiting patiently 12 days from the day they shipped my order I finally get the shoes I needed. Oh Man wouldnt you know it their 1/2 size to big ! AAArrrggggg. I place an email to Dansko and tell them that I need to return them and exchange them for a smaller pair. She says she will send me the shipping label. within 2 mintes I recieved the label to send them back. I shipped the next day and they recieve them back in 5 days. Dansko sent the replacement shoe the next day and its now been 10 days and now the tracking says 4 more days, thats a total of 15 days from when they sent them. I should of just bought another pair and had them just give me a credit when they recieved the ones i set back. I called them and asked them why they got my shipment so fast but I havent yet recived theirs. She told me that because on the return I sent them back via express fed ex, but they send smartpost which is slower. Go figure. Next time I need new shoes I will plan better and order 1 month before I really need them. Thanks Dansko for great service read more

I have had my Dansko clogs for at least 10 years and they have always served me well. In fact, I loved them so much that I hesitated to replace them when I had completely worn out the insoles in them, so I decided to not fix was wasn't broken and just replace the insoles! When I called up Dansko to ask where I could purchase them (offering to purchase them directly or questions about a location near to me), the customer service rep cheerfully offered to mail me them......free of charge.....no questions asked. I bought three paisr of Dansko Clog Pipa style womens shoes for work in various colors (Black, Pink and Blue) because of the "Shear Comfort" and cute colorful style. I like them for work because they assist in brightening my day. I Love the shoe but the wear and tear of Nursing takes a beating and my shoes started to come apart (the rubber split in many places) As a die-hard fan of Dansko, I continued to wear them until I couldn't no-longer. I Luv'd my cute Comfy Shoes. So i posted my comfy' shoes with duct-tape wrapped around them on my Facebook Nurse's Group, my colleagues around the world chimed in for me to contact Dansko. Months later I did just that, The Customer Service Department is aBsoLutely FaBuLous, I first sent an email to them, they responded the next day (ImpreSSive), Second, they requested pictures and I submitted them and they responded immediately (Awesome) and informed me to return the shoes and because they no longer carry my favorite comfy, colorful style, they sent me a link to the catalog to select a different shoe. Third, I returned the shoes to FedEx and I received a very nice Customer Service email, Thanking me for being a valuable customer and that they shipped my new shoes out to me. read more

I am completely let down by Dansko. I've been buying Dansko shoes for years. The shoes are rather expensive but seemed worth it as they are comfortable and almost therapeutic for your feet. Sadly though I experienced a problem with one of my pairs of Dansko clogs ( I always buy the clog style) While I was at work the black rubber part of the shoe just disintegrated and broke down the heel. An hour later the same thing was happening to the other shoe. I couldn't believe it. All this black dust like stuff was coming out of the shoes and on the floors at work. I immediately took pictures and contacted Dansko I told them I only wear the shoes a couple times a year since I live in a beach climate and made sure to include a picture of the soles. I thought they would do something awesome for me to make up for my inconvenience and the fact that the shoe just broke down. Instead I was given the approximate age of when they sold the shoe (about 9 yrs ago) and they offered me two $10 gift certificates. I thought about it for several days and during that time I was reminded about the exact same thing happening to my moms heels on her Clarks sandals about a year or so ago. Clarks gave my mother $100 gift certificate to replace her shoe. We told them how old the shoe was, the style, the fact that it was her very first pair of Clarks and she had had them for ages. They didn't mind. I even offered to mail the shoe and they declined, sent her the gift code and she was thrilled. That is why she will be a Clarks customer for life and I probably won't ever purchase another pair of Dansko clogs. I'd rather spend my money on Sanita, Naot, or Clarks. read more
