I had a very complicated electrical problem, and Orozco didn't hesitate to take the time to solve the issue. I met with the mechanic working on the van; he was familiar with older Toyotas and was able to point out the issue with just a pre-work inspection. I must also say that although it took them longer than we had initially agreed to, they were more than willing to stick to the prior deal, and I was not charged. I am going to be bringing my 2002 Subaru Forester Sport Utility to them to get some kinks out that I'm experiencing. I now have a favorite mechanic, who's fast, honest, and friendly! I have been having ongoing signs of issues with my car of parts that I paid to be repaired and…read morereplaced. I brought my car to get an inspection of what may possibly be the problem. Perhaps, needing service on repairs and parts that I have already paid for. On July of 2025, I took my car to a shop because my car was making noises...brakes, tires and so on needed to be replaced, I paid for that. Then, as I was driving my car it came to a complete stop. I was unable to move because it wouldn't turn on, my fuel pumps were the problem. Paid to have those replaced at the same shop that I trusted. On March of this year, 2026, I'm at Target and my car failed to turn on. I towed it to the same shop and they "repaired and replaced my non-working fuel pumps" because it was still under warranty. My car is acting up, possibly fuel pumps again. This would be the third time in a year dealing with the same problem. Long story short, brought it to G & J Auto Repair Shop to have George inspect it because I feel that he is honest. Spoke to him in March of this year when my fuel pumps gave out again. I had warranty and so I decided to take it back to old shop. He has been understanding, has checked my electrical concerns,inspected the fuel pumps and has taken the time to inspect my overall car, so that I can have a peace of mind! Another mechanic changed the spark plugs/coils but the code was still popping up. G&J was able to diagnose that I had a bad vacuum hose. They replaced it, and the code was cleared. For AC repair, George quoted me on the cost for AC compressor and fan replacement (parts & labor). Pricing was very good. Next day they had my car ready for me to hit the road. I pulled off the lot with my AC blasting ice cold, engine codes cleared, and car running Great! So thankful for George and team taking care of me. My experience with Pep Boys was awful, they were unprofessional and inefficient. I then called the warranty company to receive a referral for another auto shop and they referred me to Mountain View Tire. While it took Pep Boys an entire day just to run the diagnostic on my vehicle, and I wasted about a week and a half going back and forth after three appointments only for nothing to be done, Mt. View assessed the issues with my car, contacted the warranty company and cleared the work, and finished the work all in one day! I was able to pick up my car the same day that I dropped it off and I am extremely satisfied with the service! She does not know what she's talking about and then you get there and it's a man that still does not know what he's talking about.
