Just got my 1985 FXRT back from Danny and put 500 miles on it this weekend. He did a restoration that was just short of being from the frame up. It included stroking the original EVO motor and all the associated engine mods necessary. Now, it will run with the modern bikes! Very happy. read more

Danny and his guys were EXTRA special in getting me back on the road. Broke down in Caty Tx , wrecker to The Woodlands Harley and they could not fix the problem, A mechanic at Harley suggested Danny's Cycle Shop. Danny was called and he sent someone to pick up the bike with me. After all the charging and tunning he found the problem and I was on the road to Canyon lake Texas. His guys and especially Danny, are some of the Best Harley Mechanics I have ever encountered. I went to Tampa Florida 1340 miles and almost made it back except for the Stator. A total of 2700 miles on a 1998 Heritage Softail classic. Danny knew exactly what was wrong and found several other loose parts to include my Handle bars. The route he gave me from Montgomery to San Marcos , then to Canyon, Lake was one of the most beautiful rides I have taken thus far in Texas. I can't wait for some of this heat to give up and go back for a visit. I would recommend anyone around the Katy/ Houston area to look into having Danny repair your old Harleys. read more

Would recommend they work on communication and professionalism via phone. The man who we talked to was rude when we asked about installing a speaker system on my bike that we bought. His response was "I sell that stuff here and you already bought it so that doesn't appeal to me" and hung up. A simple no or we don't have appointments would have worked and not came across as rude. read more

Waited a while to write this. Asked to get a stage 1 installed on my bike. Danny ordered the air filter and told me that I would need my bike dyno'd and tuned with the new intake. He charged me 500 bucks for the dyno license and told me that the next time I ever need a tuning on the bike, it would be free because I already paid for the license. No problem. I picked the bike up and asked for a printout of the dyno sheet. To his surprise, he told me that he didn't have an actual print out because all he did was take the temperature of the exhaust - at the heads and at the exit. When I asked what I pad the $500 for, he became very defensive and started yelling. I don't believe he ever actually put the bike on a dyno, he just used a thermometer for the pipes. I saw reviews on other sites about how he gets aggressive with customers and try's to intimidate them. I don't have a problem paying for work when it's done right and everything is done correctly but when someone is spending their money to have a job completed, it's okay for them to ask questions. Danny handled this very poorly. I can strongly say I will never be back to Danny's. I went to another motorcycle shop on 242 and they are incredible. I've taken both bikes there and had cams put in, big bore and many other installations. I have referred many of my friends to this other place, some who have even gone to Danny's. They couldn't believe how well they were taken care of. Sorry Danny, you need to get customer service figured out and be honest with your people. You've lost out on $10,000 worth of work just on me and many more thousands with the amount of people I referred to the other place. read more

Horrible experience, you leave 20-30 messages while 2 of your bikes set there for 9 months and nothing is being done to them. Danny will not return your phone calls. I guess that is how it is if you or a trust fund baby and you do what you want to do and when you want to. read more

Just thought you should know about my experience with Danny. They damaged my bike while it was in the shop and tried to ignore it. When I complained about it Danny said he'd fix it. When I got it back the second time the dents were fixed but the paint did not match. When I asked him to fix it properly he said he was not going to repaint it. Now I have a mismatch paint job that's going to cost me close to 1000 bucks to fix. He was a rude arrogant pr*ck and tried to feed me a lot of BS, As to why he decided to put a mismatched color fender on my bike. I terminated the conversation and I'm in the process of taking legal action I am sure to win in order to recover my losses. I would suggest that you stay away but if you want to try your luck at least you should dig deep beneath the surface of the reviews, all of the numerous negative ones seem to be buried. read more

Took bike in, ordered 6500$ worth of items. Never got axle covers but charged 185$ and got a metal cap worth 50 cents. Ordered 320$ mirrors, got it back with 39$ mirrors. Returned them and then they Wired mirrors wrong after taking the bike back multiple times. Still don't work. Supposed to be running lights and turn signals. It's only turn signals. Harley wants 150$ more to fix Danny's mistakes. Never A refund offered of course. Took my damn peg off when it wasn't even part of the order, no clue where that went. No refund, only excuses like Joe Biden. Web site hacked, supply chain, flu, COVID, sick, vacation. 4 months no refund, shitty work, still isn't correct. Parts ordered not delivered correctly. I also received used parts. I asked for headlight change. I called and he stated, it's out for powder coat. Wtf, I never ordered anything powder coated. It's fucking wrong color used and dented also. Not I have powder coated used ass headlights. Omg, have fun at this place. Thought he would take care of me, took my ass to bank and got Kmart service. Avoid, this dude isn't what he use to be years ago. I was going to say scam but it was more sad. No integrity for the customer, just lame excuses for every screw up. I finally just took what was there to escape mental issue of talking in circles with this guy. read more

Don't trust them, I think Danny is dishonest !!!! I took my bike to Dannys to get 20,000 mile service and new tires. When I got it back I did not get an itemized receipt of all the things they did just a simple receipt that's in service and tires so I have no idea what they actually did. OK no big deal if you trust them. The next thing I noticed were two dents in the rear fender big eough that it chipped the paint off. I called him and told him about it and he said he seen it but he didn't know if it was there when I brought it in or not. He sent a truck to pick up the bike and send it out for repair. When I got it back a week later I noticed that the paint didn't match, it was not a pearl white. I called him back to explain what it happened. He told me they painted it with the Harley color from the Vin number and that The tank and the front fender had been custom painted. I bought the bike from a family member and no the complete history. He told me he wasn't going to repaint it. I tried to ask him what it would cost me to get it done right if he could help me out with his painter he got all pissy with me and said he wasn't going to fix it. Now because I used his shop I am out for the price of getting it repainted and the aggravation of having to deal with an arrogant asshole. I don't trust them and I'll never use them again. read more

Don't waste your time or money here. Owner of the business bent on telling off customers. Went there to have a tire changed on our Harley tire changed. Only one star because I could not give zero stars. Bad bad bad customer service. Owner bent on humiliating and "threatening to take it out into the streets" Called last week to see whether or not a rear tire only could they change it out. No problem as they indicated on the phone, we drop off the bike and our tire on Tuesday for them to change out and they said it would be done by noon. Called 1:00 said they we're not able to do a rear tire only. Which they could have called us to tell us but I guess the customer's time is not that important to Danny. We get there to pick up the bike and the tire had been removed from the bike and we would have to wait but not before either it was the shop manager or owner tried to humiliate us for bringing this in, trying to imply that we we stupid for not bringing two tires or buying the front tire from them. Again things that should have been discussed before we even dropped off the bike to begin with. He was bent on putting us in our place. So we went outside and waited. 45 minutes pass and we went back in and ask how long it was going to be and the guy went off. He got into a heated exchange with my husband who I sent outside and he threatened if my husband wanted to take this out to street....then paused. I calmly told him just get the bike back to us and we will be on our way, and he was again bent on further putting us saying you don't bring your own steak to a steak house and have them cook it. Hey Danny, next time don't have stroke and for the next customer that calls, just tell them you don't provide that service. (I didn't say anything because he would have just had a meltdown and I was genuinely in fear of my safety). I guess it might be worth it if the work on the bike was any good but I've heard a couple of people waiting months for them to complete the job. Don't go here especially if you don't want to take it out to the street. read more
