I came in for new tires and after spending hundreds of dollars on new brake parts that I didn't need in the first place, I was left with no working brakes. They tested my front rotor on the FLOOR because apparently they don't own a straight edge of any kind. They were mad because I didn't tell them my motorcycle was an ABS model. What kind of mechanic doesn't notice a huge cylinder in front of the frame connected to the brake lines? My time was wasted. And the same thing happened to a friend of mine as well. I had no idea this place had such bad reviews. Never again.

The salesman Zach's enthusiasm for and knowledge of bikes was obvious and appreciated. I also get service done here, again with zero issues. I noticed some reviews complaining about how long their bike was in the shop. But these are bikes, and even being near a major city like Houston doesn't guarantee parts availability in the time frame we want. But every time I called to bother them about my bike Jonathan took my call and took the time to update me on where they were in the process. More importantly, when I did get my bike back it ran perfectly, and I could ride confidently again. I'll definitely get my next bike here too.

They didn't mind at all about adding two things on to the invoice! Everything looked great and even got some ideas for the next big ticket items for us. By the way this is the place for oil changes!! We stopped in just to look during Black Friday after seeing some great recommendations on FB. The staff Doc and Becky were really nice and went over all types of options with us over different items. They also have a sweet deal on handlebars 650-750 I believe and this includes install you can't beat that. They even let us see the bars on different bikes to choose the right height. We ended up getting handlebars and a new brake/turn light set up. Will update when the install happens to provide how that service went. I really enjoyed the customer service they weren't trying to upcharge us with anything and are open with pricing. Even following up with phone calls and emails as well with other questions. You should really stop by and see what these guys have to offer for your motorcycle needs.

The only negative thing I have to say is their wait time. For the lift, they were pretty busy despite haveing a scheduled appointment. That and the very poor wifi connection in the shop with no cell service was hard to do anything productful. I ended up having to leave my truck there over night since I had prior obligations, my appointment started at 8am but I wasn't told it wouldn't be finished until 4-5pm until 2hours into appointed time. Otherwise no complaints. The guys did solid professional work. I'm happy, thank you!

I was able…read moreto make an appointment for install within two days and their price was comparable to other businesses. When I arrived for the appointment I was told it would take an hour to an hour and a half and they were spot on. The only downside of the wait time was the designated space they have for waiting. A handful of chairs in the back of the front showroom. A TV or a water cooler/coffee maker would substantially upgrade the comfort level, but alas they are new as assumed by the "now open" flags flying outside, so they get a pass for that. All in all I highly recommend VIP for hitch install over UHaul who said it would take a couple of weeks.
