Back in 2022, Danny Deck built our deck that included a planter for our palm trees, bench seating, a fence alongside the deck, and a door from the side of the yard. We loved how it turned out. They worked fast, kept the area clean, and were all very pleasant. Fast forward to the recent high winds in January, the top of one of our other fences blew off, so we called them to build us a new one to match the existing deck and fence. We are very happy with the work done by Danny Deck, and we strongly recommend them. A few years ago, Danny's crew built us a beautiful hardwood deck, and a fabulous stairway 120 steps up a steep slope behind our house. Since then, Danny's crew performed regular maintenance on the deck, consisting of sanding and oiling every 2 years or so. Over time, the deck became more and more noisy to walk on due to uneven sun and rain exposure. Danny's solution: remove all the plugs and the old screws, use larger and longer screws (and more of them), re-plug them all, and then sand and oil the deck. The deck is now better than ever! Foreman Elvis's crew moved and then replaced all deck furniture and plants. Their work was clean and neat, with excellent attention to detail. Danny Deck did exactly what we wanted! read more

We just had the most wonderful experience with Danny Deck! Our house's balcony boards and railing had been in dire need of replacing the entire 5 years we've owned it. After the rains this spring the railing started to get loose and it was just super dangerous so we bit the bullet and got estimates from various companies. After speaking with a contractor who quoted us a 30% higher price (claiming that materials costs had skyrocketed) we appreciated Danny Deck's honesty when they said that wasn't true and that materials rates were only marginally higher. They were also able to start immediately, vs a 4 to 5 week lead time that everyone else seemed to have. Work-wise, everything went incredibly smoothly. The crew was able to reach our 20 ft balcony from the exterior so never disturbed us on the inside. They discovered our beams underneath the boards were rotted, so quickly quoted us the price for just the materials and labor, which was affordable and very pretty generous of them to do. Even with this extra work they kept to their timetable to 1.5 weeks by coming in on Saturday. And finally, we appreciated overall that they didn't work their crews longer than 8 hours each day. Just feels like they are pretty good to their employees. We've had a TON of work done on our house in 5 years, but I can honestly say this is the best process we've had with anyone. We are very happy with our new deck. We contacted Danny Deck for an estimate on an approximately 148 square foot deck. Ethan, the Project Coordinator, came out at the beginning of May to do the estimate and by June 10th our deck was done, after 5 days of construction. Ethan was great in getting our vision for the deck built. He listened to our ideas, brought samples of materials in various colors and sent us photos of finished decks to help us make our decisions. He was quick to answer any questions we had via email or phone. We were given two estimates, depending on the materials we wanted to use. We chose Timbertech Pro Legacy composite decking in Tigerwood shade, with a cable railing system. The builders were sure to bulk up the posts and joists to accommodate a small spa we intend to put on the deck. Very satisfied with the results, and especially satisfied with the follow up. We love our second Danny Deck project! We recommend them highly! To recap, about 18 months ago, Danny's team of Hildar, Leo, and Jose rebuilt our old beat-up deck and built a 3-tiered stairway up the steep hill behind our house. We loved their work and at that time rated them 5 stars. Recently, we called them in again to sand and oil the deck and add a minor extension to the handrail of the stairway. Due to the recent heavy rains, a few areas overall needed some minor repairs. Hildar and Jose arrived on time (even early) each day of the job and left at the same time each day. Very dependable. The work is above excellent. The deck looks even better than before, the same for the stairway. Best money we ever spent! We look forward to working with them again when we need to re-sand the deck in a couple of years. read more
