Ethan and the crew from Danny Decks were amazing! They were extremely responsive, came out to give us an estimate right away, and due to a cancellation were able to begin work two days later. They finished our very large deck and stairs in a week! And that included demolishing the old deck, pouring all new footings, and building the new deck. We could not be happier! Highly recommend read more

We love our second Danny Deck project! We recommend them highly! To recap, about 18 months ago, Danny's team of Hildar, Leo, and Jose rebuilt our old beat-up deck and built a 3-tiered stairway up the steep hill behind our house. We loved their work and at that time rated them 5 stars. Recently, we called them in again to sand and oil the deck and add a minor extension to the handrail of the stairway. Due to the recent heavy rains, a few areas overall needed some minor repairs. Hildar and Jose arrived on time (even early) each day of the job and left at the same time each day. Very dependable. The work is above excellent. The deck looks even better than before, the same for the stairway. Best money we ever spent! We look forward to working with them again when we need to re-sand the deck in a couple of years. read more

I can't comment on the work since they never came out for a consultation. I sent them my service address, as requested, and then was asked for photos of the area in which I wanted work done. After they received the photos, they replied that they don't service my area. Huh? Wish I had been told that after the initial contact rather than having to take the time to take and submit all the photos. read more

We are extremely happy with Danny Deck Construction. They had great ideas, were responsive and very professional. They did a high quality job on our deck. We're very happy. read more

Many thanks to Ethan and his team of workers in installing a deck at the back of our house. Ethan answered my questions and gave good advice in the layout of the deck and the use of Trex materials. The team was professional, efficient and left the area clean and tidy. The job was estimated to be finished in 7 eight hour work days but they finished in five. Thanks also to Jordan in the office for his direction in answering some of my questions. I am very satisfied with the work of this company. read more

I used Danny back in July to redo a deck I had a friend build for me and did a bit of a Mickey Mouse job. I wish I had gone with them from the get go. The office is great, Monica and Ethan helped answer any questions we had on materials and were accommodating when it came to us traveling and changing dates to meet. I recommend using them if you have a project you need done. Thanks guys and we'll be reaching out for the next project with the balcony! read more

5+ stars for Danny and his crew. Reliable, competitive pricing, beautiful outcome!!! Would highly recommend!

Very fair and reasonable. Great quality and got the job done quickly per our request. I would recommend and he is probably better than the competition. Make sure to pay attention to the details and work through all details before hiring. Wood type, lengths, thickness, fasteners, pattern, etc. We had some miscommunication regarding wood length and thickness. Danny will work with you and is very helpful but make sure there is no "miscommunications" before the contract is signed. read more

Danny Deck did a fantastic job replacing and renovating my redwood deck. Their price was 1/3 (one third!!) of the prices quoted to me by two other deck contractors and they were fast and completely professional in every way. I would recommend them to anyone. I have a large redwood deck (860 square feet) divided into three sections on different levels. Last winter a huge branch from a neighbor's pine tree was blown down in a gale and crashed down on the largest section (385 sq.ft.), destroying most of it. A well-known home services referral company gave my name and phone number to several (too many!) local deck contractors; fortunately for me, one of them was Danny Deck Construction. I got three estimates; two companies gave me "estimates" at highly inflated prices to replace the damaged section without stating any specifics of what they would actually do. Danny gave me an explicit proposal in writing, listing every detail of the construction materials and procedures (including cleanup) at a price that was massively lower than that of the competing contractors. I had to delay the work while my insurance company got around to inspecting the damage but Danny honored the price in the estimate several months later. In the end I decided to expand the project by having Danny Deck also renovate the two undamaged sections of the deck (replacing most of the redwood on one section) for consistency. The work started within 2 days; the team showed up every morning at 8 AM, completing the job in just over a week. The work crew was courteous and thoroughly professional; they cleaned up after each day's work and removed all the debris at the end of the project. I am really happy with the result. I just wish this company did other types of home renovations so I could hire them for other projects. read more

We are not regular review writers, but we had to share our experience with Danny and his team. We wanted to install a stainless steel cable railing that integrated with our existing cumaru wood deck and white patio cover. When he came out to discuss our project, Danny was warm, professional, and made great suggestions. We received the bid quickly, and it was right inline with the other three quotes we received. During the project, the entire team rocked: They were on time, friendly, completely covered our pool when working, and left the yard and deck spotless at the end of every day. The communication from the office was stellar as well. One evening, the office even called us to explain that the crew may be out a bit later than their regular start time. We appreciated the heads up, even though the team arrived on time anyway! When the gates were first installed, they weren't quite the design we had in mind. But we had a chat with Danny, and he and his team had the new design, which even involved different materials, done and up WITHIN A FEW HOURS. We were blown away!! We had our home remodeled a few years back and worked with many different subcontractors. This kind of situation is the real test of their character (and let's face it, the customer's ; )--but rather than get irritated (like some contractors can), Danny was completely accommodating. We cannot recommend Danny Deck highly enough. They've even followed up multiple times to make sure we're happy with the work. We are finicky people when it comes to work on our house, and theirs is beautiful--we love the railing. We will absolutely hire Danny and his team for any future projects--which is about the best compliment we can think to give! Thank you so much, guys!! read more

Danny Deck did a terrific job on our deck. We had a cement patio we wanted covered with a composite material deck. Abe was great in listening to what we wanted and Danny even came out a couple of times to check on the work. Although we made a couple of changes as the work progressed Abe and the guys worked with us and we are completely satisfied. read more

Extremely professional. Answered all our questions and give us a reasonable quote. Completed the job expeditiously.

Danny and Ethan were so easy to work with. They were efficient and did a beautiful job on a deck that we dreamed of for years. It's such a special addition to our outdoor lifestyle and so fun to entertain guest. I would highly recommend Danny's Decks. Monica E. read more

We asked Danny the owner of the company to look at a large deck we had and give us suggestions about possibly replacing or resurfacing it. They could have sold us a complete resurface but did not. They said our deck was very strong. And the composite will hold up well. Our issues could be solved by just repainting the composite. We took their suggestion and selected a much warmer color to repaint. They helped move patio tables and large planters off the deck, power-washed the deck, scrubbed it with soap, rinsed and as soon as it dried the same day repainted with two coats all around n a 10-hour day. The next morning they helped move back the tables and planters. It looks beautiful. The crew was careful of our property and home and cleaned up everything. This is the second project we gave Danny and are very happy!!! Their pricing is fair and they don't charge for days in the estimate that are not needed. Great company! read more

They just completed a new deck, pavers, landscaping in our back yard along with a front porch railing system. Danny and his team are very good. His team was on time, polite, mindful of our property and cleaned up well every day. And they showed up every day like clockwork until our project was completed. The reason I am giving only 4 stars is that there were a few issues that needed attention because they just were not done properly. Once brought to Danny's attention they did come back and fix everything, but I think maybe his team needs to be a little more detailed in how they install/build things. Would I hire Danny Deck again? Absolutely! read more

Great communication. Super pro work. Our new hot tub deck is a thing of beauty made with the finest materials with the utmost care by true craftsmen. We were lucky to find this company and will go back to them for any future projects! read more

My hubby and I hired Danny Deck to do a complete 2 platform deck replacement. Without reservation, I give the actual work performed 5 stars. The demolition itself was challenging as we also had a hot tub completely removed, and the logistics in hauling everything away wasn't easy. Carlos was the one in charge at the site, and he and his team were always punctual, and were excellent about cleaning at the end of each work day. They were very respectful of my space and property. They were meticulous, and highly skilled in their craft. It truly was a pleasure working with them. The deck looks amazing, and I love how it all turned out. I'm giving the company as a whole, however, only 4 stars. The office staff were not always attentive to our questions via email. When I brought up certain issues or concerns about the project, they didn't always feel it necessary to contact me directly, but they did address it. It's probably better to call the office directly if you really need answers. Otherwise, they're all pretty aloof. So if you're looking for a company that can build you a fantastic deck, don't hesitate to give them a call. Danny, the owner, was OK. He came twice to discuss the project beforehand, and once during the project to check in. We expected him to come out and at least do a final walk-through at the completion so we could thank him personally and vice-versa, but that didn't happen. I guess that would be my expectation. It would've added a nice personal touch, but that's just me. read more

Danny from Danny Deck took the time to refer me to another company that better suited my needs. Danny explained how his company was not ideal for my job, and that this other company came highly recommended. I appreciate it when someone takes the time to help out, especially when they have no money to gain. If that ain't true integrity and living by the golden rule, then by golly, I don't know what is! Thanks again Danny, Akiva. read more

I am thrilled that I found Danny Deck Construction... I have a house with an unusable back yard slope. I had dreams of creating a staired nature walk throughout the property .. His team was efficient, courteous, fast and clean. I could not give a hight recommendation to Danny Deck... OH AND IT WAS COST EFFECTIVE!!!!! read more

We absolutely love how our Ipe deck turned out! Danny's carpenter Enio was fastantic. He was meticulous in his work and wouldn't hesitate to ask us clarifying questions re the design when necessary. I recently had Danny Deck replace my old and termite ridden wooden deck with a new Trex structure. They were great working with me to realize my vision of a more sleek modern look. The deck includes a preexisting hot tub and their ability to incorporate it into the new design makes it look seamless. And the new equipment surround and access area are far superior to the previous one. The crew was prompt and professional. I am enjoying my relaxation space again and have received many compliments. I have no hesitation recommending anyone to consider Danny Deck for their project. read more

I had a few guys come by to give me an estimate to build a 160 square foot deck in my backyard. The deck is on a hill so it wasn't terribly easy to work on. I wasn't that impressed with what the first three contractors came up with. When Danny came by I knew that he was the one. His crew were prompt, friendly and clean. And they built a deck that surpassed my expectations. The price was also very reasonable. Highly recommend! read more

Ethan from Danny Deck gave a good and thorough estimate and, after a bit of research, I went ahead with the project. It went very smoothly and only slightly over the original estimate. The project was replacing an outside staircase and building a new sundeck (as well as steps going to the deck). Carlos and crew were professional and friendly, the job was done in two weeks and I'm very happy with the job they did. I would highly recommend Danny Deck Construction! read more

Having experienced before that cheaper becomes expensive, I was hesitant to use Danny when he provided the lowest bid using the highest grade of material to install my pool deck. Through the years I have done many major construction projects, and I was pleasantly surprised that Danny provided the highest quality of workmanship of any contractor I have used. While I thought I was meticulous, Danny's foreman, Elvis, is at another level. Every detail of the job was done to perfection and he never cut a corner, even where I would never have known the difference. The before and after pictures tell the story of how Danny transformed my backyard into an oasis and raised the value of my home. read more

Just used Danny Deck for the second major project at my home in the last few years (first a rebuild of the ~35 step staircase at the front of my hillside home; and now a rebuild of the deck covering my entire ~500 sq ft backyard space). These guys are straight shooters in quoting the job (I received several) and do really great work. They continue to have my highest recommendation. read more

I can't say enough good things about Danny Deck. From our first interaction, all the way through completion of the project (a 1200 square foot wooden roof deck and a hutch for a washer and dryer), everyone has been great. Prompt responses, excellent communication, courteous, professional, responsible, brimming with integrity, no pressure, and absolutely amazing work. The tireless crew left everything neat and tidy at the end of each workday, and their craftsmanship was impeccable. If it were an option, I'd give Danny Deck ten stars! read more

Danny, Abraham, and the entire team were professional from quote to clean up. Danny asked appropriate questions to help us make the right decision on the materials we wanted and our budget. We had our second story deck rebuilt due to water damage. When they were finished the new deck was much better than the original ever was. Every consideration was taken to protect our existing patio, plants and pots from damage. Every day at the completion of work everything was picked up and put away expertly! The project was completed on time. We highly recommend Danny Deck to future clients read more

A huge thank you to Danny and his company for the time and care they spent with their estimate of my deck rebuild. Unfortunately my husband and I were not able to go with them because of a time issue (we had to have it done immediately and they were a few weeks from available). But the level of courtesy and professionalism of Danny is rare. He took his time and was meticulous about inspecting, measuring, and explaining all of my options. His estimate was priced very competitively, and I know the work would have been amazing. I highly recommend at least getting a bid from this company! read more

Danny Deck built two new decks of approximately 650 sq. ft. and 400 sq. ft., a 75 ft. staircase, two new retaining walls and new 8 ft. privacy fence (with gate). I live on a hillside so there was extensive excavating and engineering that took place. Overall the project couldn't have gone any better. The work was performed as agreed and within the time frame (4 weeks) initially discussed. Workers were clean, friendly and punctual. Danny was involved in every step along the way and was very good about keeping me updated on progress and providing recommendations. This was our first big project at our new house and my husband and I are so happy with the final product. Bottom line, you would be doing yourself a disservice not to engage Danny for any deck construction or maintenance. He and his team are great! read more
