For $5, you get two tamales which can be summed up as deliciousness wrapped in a corn husk. You can get either a vegetarian one with sweet potatoes or a chicken one (which also has some sweet potatoes) and which is topped with avocado and cilantro. If you've never tried a tamale, you owe it to yourself to hit up this tamale cart. Huge unexpected bonus for BEAUTIFUL presentation. They are the most gorgeous tamales -- they almost belong in a museum!

Five stars for the delicious tamales at Three Sisters Tamale Company. When I first saw Three…read moreSisters at Larkin Square during the first Thursday evening Larkin Market, I was so excited to get a tamale in the Buffalo area. I immediately reminisced to my days in Los Angeles when my Salvadorian students would bring me tamales that their mom's made (true story). Anyway, after the initial excitement I got in line and placed an order. The first time I went to Three Sisters, they had one tamale for $5. The second time I went to Three Sisters, they had two tamales for $6. The more the merrier, sounds good to me. Hopefully their prices will steady and have consistency in the near future. Both times I got these tamales they were very, very good. The second time I got one sweet potato tamale and one chicken tamale. I preferred the sweet potato although that's not to say the chicken tamale was bad; it wasn't. The tamales come topped with deliciousness (cilantro, onion if you'd like, and yummy sauce). I would say it's impossible to not finish them! The service is awesome, the young gentlemen who make the tamales appear friendly and happy even when it's quite hot outside. They're quick too! I suppose I should note that Three Sisters Tamale Company is a traveling cart and can be found at Larkin Square among other events, such as Cirque de Square. If you should spot them - stop and get some tamales, you won't be disappointed!

The fries alone are almost $6. They are good, but woosh! This unfortunately will keep me from making return visits. This being said, they do offer a point system that eventually rewards you. The burgers are smash burger style and the patties melt with the cheese to create a really nice texture and flavor. They have limited indoor seating but there are plenty of picnic tables outside on sidewalks by the side of the building and on a gravel area by the parking lot... some of which are covered. There are also a couple of playgrounds on the grass next to the building for kids to use while the adults grab a bite and chat. A great local place... no wonder it was busy!

Another great summer day means another trip to Taffy's!…read more We made our way over to Taffy's after checking out the new Bills stadium and needed something for lunch. It was a slower time in the day so we were able to go right up to the window and order without any wait time. We got a couple of burgers, a basket of fries to share, and a milkshake. The burgers are always good here and the curly fries are the perfect sidekick. I washed it all down with a cookies and cream milkshake which is one of the best in the area. Quick service, awesome outdoor vibes, and great food. Plus desserts you love, makes Taffy's the best for a summer lunch.

There was definitely a lot of blueberry happening, with blueberry lemonade seemingly making an appearance at approximately every other stand.
