It went through a stretch with some employee choices that left me scratching my head but lately they've all be too notch - friendly and helpful. Here's what they need to work on. It's only one thing. Do something about the number of bums and panhandlers that hang out by the front door to get you coming and going. It's ridiculous. Almost expect to have an interaction with one, two, maybe three of them on every visit. Why do they think a pharmacy is a good place to panhandle? People are already sick and going there for a reason. Catch them at Starbucks instead. AND, it's not just a simple 'can you spare a dime' bums, it's they 'hey, can I ask you a question' bums. Just ask me for money, don't passive-aggressively try to act deep on me. You're a bum, not Plato. Last night I'd made it all the way to my vehicle as the panhandler was occupied on something else. Worst Pharmacy in the area. Walgreens says they are "1200…read morescripts behind." That sounds like a YOU problem and NOT mine. I NEED MY MEDICINE. Where does the nightmare begin... Everytime you come here- expect to wait in line for an hour or so. They have one line which is for all drop offs, consultations and pickups. If you try to get someone on the phone it's nearly impossible. You will call and be on hold for an hour and a half and than the recording will say they are on break for 30 mins. This can happen at 10:45am, 1pm or even 6pm. Than when you wait that out- the system will hang up on you. Now, hurricane Ida came. I tried to pick up my scripts 2 days early because it's a hurricane. Waited in line for an hour. Pharmacist says nope we can't fill it. The law states you can have your script up to 2 days early. Pharmacist will not give you your prescription slip back either so you can have it filled elsewhere. 2nd attempt next day over 1 hr in line. Yielded same results. Day 3 storm arrives. Day 4 showed up at store.. nope. closed.. systems are down Day 5 store opens but then they close the doors without warning and still won't give me my prescription back. Day 6 is tomorrow. I'll go waste another 2 hours out of my day and will probably leave with no prescription. I tried to call my doctor's office to have the prescription called in elsewhere. They can't and say their hands are tied- because walgreens has my prescription slip. They told me to get my prescription slip from walgreens. A vicious, horrible cycle. Update: Day 6 today. I was told they would be open 8-4 today. Showed up at 9:30am only to be told the store was open but the pharmacy was STILL CLOSED. No one answers phone even when you try photo or any other department. I see the pharmacy is open at other locations but can't get my prescription transfered on app and can't get in touch with store. Try again tomorrow. That's DAY 7.

The owners uncle Paul Cire Bajon has been working in the store since he was 7 years old and he was 97 when we dropped in. ...and he was sitting behind the counter. There is currently a national shortage of the medication, so you would think this pharmacy would work with its customers to make sure that they could get it by answering questions such as what formulations they currently have in stock so that the customer could tell her provider what to write the prescription for. Nope. They told me I had to have my doctor call them and find out this information himself. The pharmacy tech was rude and distracted. She asked me three times for my birth date, and then would not give me information about my prescription. And it's not just this branch of CVS either. They are all equally terrible.
