I used my insurance company mail in service for many years due to the supposed cost savings, and had forgotten how useful it is at times to be able to ask the pharmacist questions about the drugs I was taking, or about other minor health issues. But after a number of problems with the computer generated refill service, I decided to check out how much it would cost to buy my prescriptions locally at brick and mortar stores. Ralph's cost was equal to or lower than the 4 other pharmacies I checked with, and was within "pennies" of the mail order prices. And no more problems talking to a "computer" trying to get a refill sent when I need it, or cancel a prescription when the doctor changes the drugs I'm taking.
