If you were to get a layover, it's always either in Atlanta or Charlotte. It's definitely come a long way. They remodeled and added a few things. There is only one restaurant and a few stores. One great thing about this airport is that you don't have to wait. There are no long lines and TSA is not as strict as most airports. My parents only live 10 minutes away so this is very convenient when I fly back home. It's a small airport and I've never had any problems. One delay but it wasn't for hours.

At 4am cab arrives (half hour past my reservation TO THE AIRPORT). Note: if you are accustomed to your Uber's standard of cleanliness, be prepared to adjust your standard downward significantly. That said, it was your typical taxi standard of cleanliness and I was just thankful it didn't smell like a homeless shelter. Trip was quick. Driver was surprised that I didn't have $161 in cash and was not prepared to take my credit card. This is despite the fact that the website very clearly states that major credit cards accepted. Nevertheless the driver took the time to locate his square swiper, and when he couldn't find it, he figured out how to do it manually. All being said, I'm giving the extra star because the driver was very friendly and polite. My advice if you are reserving a cab, anticipate they may be half an hour late.
