We were there in April, and found the campground to be very quiet and peaceful all 5 days we were there. Over the weekend, even with the campground filling up, it was still peaceful. The spots are well distanced from each other. It was a bit cold for swimming, but we did walk to the edge and try fishing. My only complaint is the online booking - there is a lack of photos of each site, and it's really hard to tell what the access to the water looks like. Some of the spots have an easier access to get into the water than others, especially for small children. We used campsitephotos.com to get an idea of what the sites looked like.

There's no bathhouse, but with full hookups it wasn't a problem. The grounds crew is out every day and the park is very clean. Easy access off I-20 with restaurants and shopping close by. Would definitely stay again.

We were originally parked in a spot that was un-level. They were open to us moving to another open spot for our stay. I also had a camper leak the first night. Staff left me use tools to fix the problem while my husband was at work. Of course, he had all of our tools with him lol. Since moving spots eve thing has been great! They have a small store for buying drinks and chips. The have a place to wash clothes or sit and enjoy the camp fire. They have a playground for children. Quiet place and the neighbors have been friendly. Everything is about 30 minutes away so be prepared to drive to get to things. If you are looking for quiet and getting out into nature this is the spot for you. They have WiFi, picnic tables and fire pits/grills. Most spots are in shaded areas. Keeps the camper cool at the heat of the day.

We loved waking up and seeing the river in its different shades of light and from almost anywhere in the house. We also loved cooling off in the salt water pool, kayaking and paddle boarding from our own dock, the privacy, burning fires in the hanging fireplace. The owners have split the home so there is a curtain dividing the business / spa portion and their living space. There is a shower for before and after, a clean and quiet room where the tent is located, and a large, peaceful, also clean waiting room in what would be the living room of the home.
