After hearing good reviews from a few friends I tried Dancing Roll tonight. I enjoyed the Shrimp Tempura Roll, Hot Fish Roll (spicy delicious), and Kimchi Roll. I'll definitely have all of them again. I'm looking forward to trying their Kimchi Soup on my next visit. Given the headphones on their logo and name I think they missed a great opportunity to be loud and proud. The staff is always smiling and happy to be working there, the atmosphere makes me feel like I'm eating a meal at home; which I love, the manager is always so kind and sits down and chats with everyone and makes sure everything is to their liking. My fiancé and I ate as much as we could and still had plenty to take home. I definitely recommend trying the Bengal Roll and the Sunday Morning Roll; They're SO good! Dancing Roll had a coupon on Yelp for a free dessert with a $30 purchase, so we got a FREE fried cheesecake, omg delicious! Service was excellent too. The waiter we had, Spencer, was very nice and man he was Fast! We got miso soup and drinks within minutes of sitting down at the table, and he checked on us regularly. The water had no ice in it, so I had to ask for ice for both of us... to which the waitress acted annoyed. Then she only brought us one small glass to split between us. Not looking good so far, but it got better. I did like that she brought out our miso soup before we even ordered. It was hot and tasty. Between the two of us, we ordered a baked salmon roll, shrimp tempura roll and a Philly roll. It came out in decent time, however, the waitress had all 5 tables mixed up and the poor guy bringing the orders out said he felt like an idiot. He got it straightened out quickly, no big deal. All three rolls we ordered were actually quite good. My only complaint is that they were a little on the small side, and very skimpy on the sauce. The salmon in both rolls tasted fresh and the tempura roll was good. All in all, a good experience and you can't beat the price. We paid $12.50 before tip for three rolls and miso. Despite the no ice debacle and the slightly less than stellar attitude of the waitress, I'll definitely try this place again. read more
